Good place to have English breakfast and lunch.

This is definitely one of the most pleasant restaurants in the area. Whenever I go there I am profoundly satisfied. They keep their high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Fast refreshment, clean place good behaving by staff

We drive past here most days and always see how busy it is so finally decided to try. We came on a Saturday morning and it was still busy with customers and local tradespeople. The menu has a huge choice to takeaway and eat in all very reasonably priced. We went for the mega barms with sausage and bacon, as you can see from the pictures they are mega! Bigger than my head in fact. The staff were super friendly and the place was spotless and welcoming. You can pay card too which is a bonus. Absolute gem for breakfast mostly, but the other lunchtime items looked really good.

I wasn't prepared for how exceptional the food was here. The quantity of food you get for the price was amazing and I felt very full afterwards. The staff are nice, and the dining area was kept clean.

Best cafe on the northwest by far. Food is outstanding. I recommend there cheese on toast it's phenomenal. Love going here for our breakfast before work. 10/10

Stopped here when I'm early. They do the most fabulous range of food. Sandwiches, meals, snacks etc. I always plumb for the cheese on toast, it is on white crust bread, with a thick layer of cheese. Crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth deliciousness that keeps you full till well after lunch. Very busy place in the mornings, good availability of parking and quick service. Cheese on toast... I know, you fancy some right now.

Woman acted like she didn't want to serve us. Asked for two teas, was given two coffees. Breakfast was very average. Sausages were awful. Cheap catering sausages. Won't be returning.

Standard cheap cafe with lots of choice and friendly staff, no frills food at good prices.

I've been going to JD since the early 90s. Best food in Trafford Park. Bacon and sausage on dry toast is excellent.

My son goes to John's Diner in the morning for his breakfast before work. He loves the all day breakfast baps and gets one every morning. Starts his day with a full stomach ready for a hard day's work. Just what he needs.

Not a great place too eat,phoned order too collect at 10am simple order but they only started making it at 10.15am.Nice as pie until I’d paid then told too move away from the counter even though no one else was waiting near me,had mask on but not one member of staff wore one or gloves.Very unpleasant and food was like it was bought from a ‘greasy spoon cafe’ Won’t be visiting again.1st and last time.

Good size portions, not the cheapest place. But it will fill you up. Plenty of choices.

Came for breakfast but not really disabled friendly for accessing in a wheelchair or scooter good food had to takeaway due to access

Just ordered 10 Christmas dinners for a department Christmas Dinner. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! Included turkey. mashed potatoes, roasties, stuffing, carrots. sprouts and gravy. Thank you team for making our day fab x

This is a great place for full english breakfast, but the cheese on toast is a real winner.

A proper gut busting full breakfast with toast and fried bread coming out of my ears lol and with a proper mug a tea fabulous way to start your day.

Good parking, clean tables, plenty of choice on menus. Sit in and a takeaway menu. Friendly staff. Tasty food. The one thing that lets this place down is the toilets. They are messy, no paper towels, toilet seat missing in ladies. Would visit again for food but not use toilets.

Used to be the best cafe for miles around. But in the last few years quality has gone down as fast as prices have gone up. All the old areas who used to make it such a friendly place left as well. Avoid unless you're desperate.

Awesome food in good prices.

Always had lovely food from here, and I have worked in the area for years. Breakfasts are great, lunches are lovely. My normal is Tuna salad barm, which is always fresh and tasty. The muffins are gorgeous too. They also do a joint of the day like hot Gammon or Beef. Definitely worth a try as a sandwich or as a proper dinner.

Expensive for a greasy spoon

First impressions set back of the main road with adequate parking facility, clean and tidy inside and your not waiting to long for your order. Pleasant staff will call again. Would recommend this place if your ever passing by.

Absolutely great all day breakfast. First time I've been here but hope to be visiting again for another fry up. Nice mug of coffee too. Clean and friendly.

Stood in there 5 min waiting to be served. Not one of the 6 or 7 staff even bothered serving me. Left disappointed after waiting and no food. Customer service was poor (Corner cafe 5 min away 10 times better )
