Just got back from this lovely site, lovely clean facility’s, nice big pitches choose your own on arrival, perfect location for Chester Llandudno etc Plenty of places to eat nearby, The rake pub within walking distance welcomes dogs & have a lovely outside covered area with heaters we didn’t try the food went to old hall farm for the carvery twice. We will definitely be returning to this site. Really enjoyed our stay thank you to all the lovely staff see you again soon.

Amazing site, fantastic location and outstanding staff! Staff greeted us with a smile and good humour and were always available for advice and a chat. Many of the Caravan Club sites we have visited had felt ‘controlled’ by the staff who seemed to be there to enforce the rules…rather than to make your stay a happy and safe one. Not this one; they were the best! Location is only 2 miles cycle/walk to Chester Zoo and a 1 mile walk to the local supermarket and retail outlet which had great shops, eating places and bargains! To top it all, Rake Hall, next door to the site, serves some of the best food we have experienced…and they were friendly and accommodating, finding us space even at the most packed times (booking recommended!). We shall return!

Absolutely gorgeous site. Everything you may need is within 5-10minutes walk or 2 minutes in a car. The site itself is very clean and well kept. The showers an toilets are extremely clean and very spacious. The pitches are plenty big enough for a car caravan and awning with a pitch of grass too. Felt safe on this site wasn’t noisy at all Little childrens park which is gated off only problem we found that the baby swing had bird poop on but that’s not the site’s fault. When you arrive you can choose whichever pitch you like which is good. Would definitely come back to this site an would highly recommend it. Thank you for a lovely stay

A lovely camp site, so we'll situated for Cheshire Oaks outlet, and a short trip into both Chester and Wales. The facilities on site were excellent and very well maintained. The staff obviously work very hard to keep it at a constant level of cleanliness. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants on the door step and a small area for us dog owners to exercise out fur babies. I can highly recommend this site.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Typical Caravan & Motorhome Club Site, well drained level pitches, clean, warm shower and toilet facilities and friendly wardens. In a great location with plenty to do nearby. Walking distance to Cheshire Oaks Retail Park with plenty of bars and restaurants, definitely be visiting Chester Fairoaks Caravan and Motorhome site again.

Lovely site- terrific location for Shopping and Chester itself. Very helpful staff. I do feel the condition of the site leaves a bit to be desired. 1.Chemical disposal closed for duration of our visit 2. Grass needs cut - poor appearance. 3. Dog Pooh bin full for three days. 4. Pitches are good, but need better management to keep vehicles off the grass. 5. Door exit mud bath ( made by members) needed white posts. Great pub nearby. Flower beds need weeded!

I have just had 2 weeks at the campsite it's a very busy site at the time I was there, it's a short walk to the Cheshire oaks outlet centre, a short drive to the park and ride at Chester zoo for Chester City @ £2 all day, the site is clean and tidy the facilities are very good and clean the staff I found friendly and helpful only disappointment that the WiFi was not working on site all the time I was there.

First time at this site. Lovely site, very well located to shops, restaurants, pubs all in walking distance too. Wardens very nice, facilities very clean Site very good for couples or families There is a small park area for children Sorry but I have one gripe to make, there is a dog walk area on site I believe, so why was a particular person on site walking their dog around the back of other caravan s and letting it fowl and not pick up? Disgraceful! come on, theres no need for it, why do people also think that they can just walk behind someone else's caravan, that space has been allocated and paid for by that customer.

We have just got home from a fantastic jubilee weekend away. On Friday the wardens put on a great party, no end of cake and bucks fizz, the singer was great and proper brought back alot of memories. The wardens made everyone welcome and their hospitality was outstanding. Right through our lovely stay the facilities were spotless considering how busy it was, every thing about our stay was superb. Thank you so much from pitch 55. Look after the Japanese maple tree, I hope to see it in years to come. X

We really enjoyed it here, super location for the outlet designer shops, plenty of places to eat and drink, bus into Chester from the outlet centre, bit of a walk if you are not good on your legs. The staff here were lovely and the shower block etc were really clean, spotless every time we used, we would love to return.

A cracking little site well run by the site staff. The shower block is exceptional and is kept very clean and tidy. With Chester, Cheshire Oaks and the rest of the Wirral very close by. We enjoyed a five night stay in quite remarkable sunny English March weather.

NICE LITTLE SITE. Perfect to a weekend escape. The site itself isn't huge, which was nice. The staff on arrival were polite friendly and helpful. The pitches were all a decent size and not cramped together. On site the following amenities were available - toilets Inc disabled/service -showers -laundry -washing up area -motorhome waste disposal -water -electric hook up - chemical toilet disposal -Park area -dog walking Each was well kept, clean, tidy and easy to access. The site is about a 15min walk to Cheshire oaks shopping where there is plenty to do. Inc ships, restaurants, park, cinema etc. With a park and available into chester/chester zoo We will definitely visit again.

Lovely clean well maintained site with excellent facilities which include ample provision of water, grey waste & chemical emptying points, the wardens are friendly and efficient with the check-in process being particularly well managed, if I have one bit of advice for users whose units are already sited; avoid returning to site between 1pm & 2pm as the queue to check-in can block the site access.

Handy site for Chester or as we did visiting Cheshire Oaks Retail Park which is a 15 min walk. Toilet & Shower Block immaculate, Temp Site Manager there at the mo .Think the CAMC are expensive , really need to review there prices & Wifi should be free not £3.50 a day.. rip off.

3 nights at the end of Aug/beginning of Sept. nice site, had been quite wet so the wardens policed the 'no driving on the grass rule' rigidly. Facilities great, the site is well located for the outlet and longish bus ride in to Liverpool is easily accessible after a 10 minute walk.

Someone had a hookup cable taken during the day and I could hear loud music in the afternoon (Saturday). Got up this morning to find my foldable step was on the pitch across from me with what looked like fake blood on it, probably early Halloween prank. Didn’t really feel that safe here either. Shower block was spotless and site was very clean, perhaps just unlucky with a few who spoil it for all. Won’t ever return.

EXCELLENT CaMH Club site. It's probably the best toilet and shower block we have used, along with wash up area and laundry.. Fresh and waste water and Elsan points all over the site. Nice and clean...helpful and friendly staff. Nice and quiet. Enclosed dog area. Rake Hall for food and drink is a must, 100 yards from the sites entrance.

Had a great stay in October. Quiet and peaceful. Great location. A 10 minute walk to Cheshire Oaks and bus stops that we used to go into Chester and Chester Zoo. 3 nice bars nearby. Lack of bins on the site but otherwise ok.

Great location for Chester could not ask for more. Outlet Shopping, city centre and a zoo. Campsite is well kept. Roads leading to campsite are not child friendly, i e there is no footpath and would not want to walk on the road with children. But there is a great free parking a and cheap park and ride located nearby. Road noise is average as there is 2 neighbouring motorways which can be loud at night if the wind is in the right direction.

Great campsite. Great pub 200 yards away. Easy walk into Cheshire oaks. Incidentally if you want to take a motorhome into Cheshie Oaks you use the coach park. Their customer services told me that end October2022 so I did and it was great. Nice pitches , All well looked after. I will return.

Terrible experience. Arrived and were treated with hostility from the start. The security guy, although was very friendly, was not necessary and made it feel like we were being watched all night. The most disgusting part of our stay is how we were talked to by the shower block cleaner. We were unaware of the cleaning times because we didn't receive any instruction upon arrival to inform us that shower blocks closed for cleaning at 10.15am. The cleaner shouted at us to "LEAVE IMMEDIATELY" whilst we were in the middle of getting ready, in the manner of a teacher speaking to a child. Very demeaning. We asked for 5 more minutes to get ready but she continued to be rude and told us we needed to get out, even though we were only using 1 mirror in the whole of the block. She very easily could have cleaned around us. We do not recommend this site.

Very nice campsite. Green, lots of trees. Hard standing. Plenty of service areas to drop trash, empty the loo and fill up with water. Nice bathrooms. A short walk to buses into Chester. Close to the Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester Zoo. Plus a big M and S, and Sainsbury's.

Good, well appointed campsite. All facilities where in good order and kept very clean. The one drawback was the road outside the site was not pedestrian friendly and would be character building with young children, but is the only access to buses, shops etc.
