On a sunny day, enjoy a nice walk though the woods and discover the war memorials - ie the Mariners' beacon. Beautiful landscape and not overcrowded.

Lovely place for a walk, extensive views across.the Dee Estuary to North Wales. Woodland & heathland. Join up with Stapleton Woods to extend your walk. Park in various places to access, Whetstone Lane, Fleck Lane, Kings Drive. No facilities but cafes in nearby West Kirby.

Lovely woods with many walks and hidden gems. Lovely benches positioned at wonderful vantage points. Just perfect for a picnic and a cheeky glass of something with a loved one. 😘😘😘

A lovely place for a family walk with the dog. Nice views. Also perfect place to hunt for #wirralrocks. Can be very muddy so make sure you bring your wellies.

Myriad of paths, so can keep a safe covid prevention distance away from others whilst able to say hello. Some mud but drainage good and you can easily avoid it. Springy woodland floor means great running & walking surface to preserve joints & also kinder to falls, especially with young children. Stunning views. Great therapy for all.
