Colin, the manager is a spectacular human being, I’d had an issue for 8 months since getting my tyres done, and quite literally in an hour he resolved it, with such compassion and care it’s unbelievable. He went above and beyond with the way he treat me, and the work he did. He even made me aware that a few of my sensors batteries were low, which wasn’t a money making scheme because he wouldn’t have been able to sort it for me. He is an absolute asset to Kwik-Fit and deserves the world.

Went to this branch yesterday morning for the first and last time ( booked in ) for my exhaust as it had come away . After shall we say a very brief examination they told us it would be a big massive job and we’d need everything new including a new cat convertor and new front and back box even though that had only been replaced a few months back .. they couldnt tell us roughly how much it would cost and they didnt have any parts in on a sunday so great start ..Even i know roughly how much it would be ..And promised to call this morning ( the 5th) to quote .. im still waiting for that call but in the mean time ive driven to Leeds to a garage that has excellent reviews and i can see why as not only did they fix it in 2 mins but they charged me £20 for a quick weld as this was all that was needed ! So thanks for not calling back as you’ve saved me from been ripped off for unnecessary work and another thing while im reviewing , think you all need to work on your customer service skills as they were atrocious.

Used Kwik Fit for a free brake check. My friend booked in advance the manager was displeased with the visit. As brake pads had recently been done, I attended to get a squeaking noise from brakes diagnosed. The overall service received was far from expected and rude. I was looking to get a major service done here next week and a brake fluid change but now I won't bother! I'll go else where...

I went in Saturday morning and they got me in the same day to do the tracking on my van. Very friendly staff and informative. I was very happy.

My mother had been going here years always had good things to say about them, but it turns out they were probably ripping her off for years, she went for her brake pads changing and they told here she needed over a thousand pound worth or work doing for new calipers all round because they won't accept the new pads as they'd been pushed out too far. Told her there lying and to try somewhere else so she went down weldon road and they changed her pads for £90 no problems

Staff were really friendly and very helpful. Got 2 new tyres on the front and the lads were very informative the whole way through the process.

Jordan, Jack and the boys at Kwikfit Castleford were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From my initial call last week to the tyre fitting today the service was super professional and friendly unlike the other tyre fitting companies I tried. My tyres are quite an unusual size and not easy to get hold of but they managed to get them and at a fair price. Fitted and sorted within an hour and a half of getting there this morning including tracking and alignment. This is the service we give our customers in our business and what I expect from a supplier. You are now my tyre company from now on and I will spread the word to friends and family for you. Keep up the great works lads and see you when my tyres need changing but hopefully not to soon👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Took my car in with no booking to get the wheels aligned after Halfords failed to do so. Done while I waited. But on the costly side but the staff were great there to fit me in towards the end of the day.

Ordered a tyre at 10pm last night after checking my tyres before a journey and discovering some attention was needed, it was fitted at 8:30am!! Colin was energetic and refreshing, great customer service. I always heard bad things about Kwik Fit nightmares, but now feel bad! Tyre was a good price and great friendly service! Thank you Colin and his fitter who I didn't get the name of!

Booked my car in, drove in an hour later, car was up on the ramps within 10 minutes, tyre changed, paid and out of the door in 30 minutes. Happy lady, thank you.

Found a bulge on tyre on bank holiday Sunday ahead of 4 hr drive home. Expected it to be a big problem but pleasantly surprised to find branch open. Called to check tyre availability and booked appointment. Unfortunately just the slightly more expensive tyre available but arrived earlier than appointment and was instantly seen to. All changed very quickly with little fuss and able to safely drive home. Bank holiday opening certainly saved my Easter hols although aware not a shift you want to be working.

Visited today for an air con re gas. Colin the branch manager couldn’t be more helpful if he tried (well, suppose he could have given my car a wash 🤣) but seriously, first class service today from Colin and his team. People like him make you want to return to Kwik Fit. What a gem you have there Kwik Fit!

I was unlucky in getting a puncture this afternoon (the day before going away) and initially phoned a local garage I have used before only to be met with a rather gruff "too busy". I then phoned your Castleford Branch (with a degree of hesitation as I often have had poor service from larger chains) and what an unbelievable difference. The gentleman I spoke to could not have been more friendly or helpful, got me booked in straight away and advised me to set off for them immediately. The fantastic service continued in branch, with a professional yet friendly attitude. I went for a short walk and was telephoned 20 minutes later to be informed all was done. Again the outstanding service continued and whilst I was very relieved to be back on the road it was the attitude of your colleges in store that I was so impressed with. As an ex customer service manager (retail) for many years I can honestly say this was one of the best examples of superb customer service I have encountered and the gentlemen in question are absolute heroes for your company. My sincere thanks to you all.

Used twice both times I took my car in for a simple tyre or oil change and they ring up adding other stuff to the list. I was told they can't turn the warning light off unless I paid another £50. The price went from £89 to £437. The happy friendly welcome is an act. Use local independent garages. These places are just out to make money, I learnt that the hard way.

Great service from Colin and his team. Repaired my tyre saved me a lot of money. They could easily of just sold me a tyre but they repaired my own . Nice to deal with someone who gives great service, gives an honest opinion and can be absolutely trusted to do the best for you. Thank you. Initially ended up with wrong tyre being ordered due to website error however the guys at kwik fit got the correct one ordered and fitted the same day. Liam was very helpful and friendly!

Messed about so badly for a headlight bulb !! I’m disabled and have a mobility car and Kwik fit (are supposed to) do the maintenance. One of my front headlight bulbs had gone so I rang on Monday and was told to call in any time on Tuesday. I went up on Tuesday and was told it would be at least an hour before they could do it. So I asked if I could just go back in an hour and was told I’d have to leave the car. It’s a mobility car, I can’t go anywhere without it. That’s the point of the car !! He then said he could make me an appointment for Thursday. So I went back again on Thursday and after them messing about for 10-15 minutes I was told they couldn’t do it and I would need to take the car to the dealers (over an hour each way to the nearest dealer). They said they would have to take the bumper off (to change a headlight ????) and they couldn’t do it. I’ve ended up going to Halfords where they changed the bulb for me within 5 minutes. At this time of year working headlights are essential. I really hope motability review using kwik fit for repairs as this is not the first time I’ve been messed about by them.

A week ago I bought a set of tires for my car through KF. With an assembly service today (that's what suited me). When I pulled up today at the appointed time, I found out that the equipment was broken and they were waiting for an engineer to fix it for them. No information beforehand. There is also no question of transferring my tires to another branch.

Popped in last night and arranged for a new bulb to be fitted for the next morning and the guys were lovely and helpful. Went back to get it fitted and they went above and beyond to help me with a specialist bulb. Very quick and efficient. Will definitely be using Kwik Fit in Castleford again. Guys who work there are lovely.
