As
someone
who
has
always
struggled
with
low
self-esteem
and
body
confidence
issues,
it
was
really
important
to
me
that
I
found
a
personal
trainer
that
I
felt
comfortable
around,
and
who
made
me
feel
at
ease.
Initially
I
really
struggled
with
having
the
confidence
to
push
myself,
however
Emma's
gentle
but
persistent
manner
really
worked
with
me
to
build
not
only
my
physical
strength,
but
my
psychological
strength.
She
adapted
exercises
and
supported
me
to
try
things
out
even
when
my
mind
was
telling
me
I'd
fall
or
'fail'(
something
ive
always
had
a
massive
fear
of)
I
had
a
really
helpful
nutritional
session
before
my
training
started
which
helped
me
to
understand
what
I
was
eating
(
and
not
eating)
and
how
this
was
impacting
on
my
physical
health.
She
helped
me
to
understand
the
nutrients
I
needed
to
be
putting
into
my
body,
and
the
types
of
foods
that
have
health
giving
properties.
She
tailored
this
to
me
due
to
me
being
vegan
which
was
really
helpful.
I
now
cant
get
enough
of
Cavolo
Nero!
I
now
love
exercising
and
the
feeling
it
gives
me.
I
do
it
because
I
enjoy
it
and
it
makes
me
feel
empowered
and
strong,
not
because
I
feel
I
have
to!
The
number
on
the
scales
hasn't
reduced
dramatically
over
the
course
of
my
training,
but
I
feel
stronger
and
my
body
looks
leaner.
Emma
has
helped
me
to
understand
that
'quick
fixes'
aren't
realistic'
,
rather
I
know
the
positive
changes
I
have
made
are
for
my
future,
and
these
things
take
time
!
Emma
listened
to
me
when
I
told
her
about
my
fears
and
worries,
and
she
encouraged
me
not
to
give
up
when
I
thought
all
my
efforts
were
not
enough.
