Have recently had two tyres fitted at ATS after booking online. Very courteous and efficient. work was carried out without delay at the time specified. Very Covid compliant establishment. Would defiantly recommend.

Will never take my car back there for an MOT , car failed said I needed new bulbs in the Marker lights, took it back for them to fix it the following week then they said they didn't have the parts! Basically told me to fix it myself and come back for a re-test, when I got home they had left the lights hanging out the bumper on both sides, had to go two weeks without an MOT what a shambles of a place!

Once again a great service and experience. Never been disappointed with this place, staff are friendly, had loads of tests done there and will be my first choice for the next one.

Failed my MOT for stop lamp not working as (major defect) and a bunch of made us lies Absolutely shocking as it should be an advisory no consideration at all i don’t usually come here due to needed done asap thought no problem , biggest mistake.

Very efficient fitted tyres promptly

Was stood for 15 mins before anyone even acknowledged I was there. Took 2 hours to fit 4 tyres, poor lad who was changing my tyres was also doing about 4 other jobs in between doing them.

My elderly parents went into ATS last Friday when their Citroen C4 Picasso wouldn’t start. As a vulnerable couple, I wanted to thank the two members of staff who looked after them straight away when the garage was obviously very busy. They replaced the battery and got them on their way quickly.

Bought 2 new tyres for my car today plus a brake check. The lads at ATS South Shields were absolutely brilliant. Asked them to put 1 of my tyres which was an advisory on the last MOT that was on the nearside back to put the new one on the front, this was done. I recommend these guys highly, many thanks ATS will use again.

Quick and efficient service ordered my tyres online and my drop of time. Had a slight issue with ordering the wrong type of tyre, but all got sorted when I got to the fitting centre. £ price is the price, so there is no discount even when ordering online.

Checked if a tyre could be saved, after getting two nails in it. It couldn't, but they never charged me to have a look. They were very busy though.

Had my Suzuki Swift in on Thursday to get the wheels balanced and aligned. Couldn’t be happier with the result of how my car now feels when driving, would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Online booking is a breeze, staff are friendly and got my car through an MOT re-test even though I turned up at 4pm without an appointment. Car is running nicely after it's service here

Just had an m.o.t. done here was booked in for 4.30pm (not by me my transport manager) I dropped van off at about 1pm and asked if there was any chance that it can be done sooner as I live about 25mins away he said just NO, a bit Sharpe the way he put it across and said there is a reason way it's booked in. Fine so I left the van and he said I will call you when it's done I said ok thanks and left as I didn't want to stay there for hours so went home. As they close at 5.30pm 5.10pm came no call as it happens I went over and got there at about 5.20pm still no call, all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. There communication skills are a bit lacking to say the least. If it was my choice I would not go back to this garage.

Good service and very helpful staff let down by there prices (hence 3 star rating). A few weeks ago I was charged £33 for a puncture repair which I thought was the going rate at the time. Since then I’ve had another puncture and asked the price of repair new valve balance and refitting the wheel at Kwik Fit and Halfords and both said £25. Bye bye ATS!! I’ll let you know how Kwik Fit get on (Halfords were fully booked)

Bought tyres online and arranged appointment for fitting. All done as arranged. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Just editing an old review. I'd bought the infamous a/c recharge from Groupon for the mother in law. The mechanic checked the refrigerant and all was fine, he replaced it anyway but couldn't get he a/c working at the time. He issued a full refund on the voucher and didn't charge a penny. Said it was their policy that if they can't fix it they can't charge. Was very happy with the service and the staff.

Seem to be genuine, unlike other similar outlets, which 'do the job up'. Have done a good job for me on the few occasions that I have had work done. Had to take the car back on one occasion to correct something, but all sorted in the end. Comfortable waiting area for customers who choose to wait while the work is being done.
