The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is a flagship hospital in Liverpool, UK, that has helped transform cancer within the region. Working with the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust and design and construction teams, we provided various engineering services to deliver world-class healthcare facilities with the latest in sustainable design. Throughout its 11 floors, the hospital provides pioneering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, bone marrow transplant, gene therapy and radiotherapy treatments. It also houses facilities for diagnostics and imaging, outpatient, day-case treatments, a teenage and young adult unit, clinical therapies, and a wide range of cancer information and support.

Absolutely brilliant hospital. I’ve been coming here for appointments and treatment for 5-6 weeks and it is a lovely building to be in when you are going through such a rubbish time. The staff and its every single one of them, reception, cleaners, nurses doctors, each and every one that I’ve met have been amazing!! They are all so friendly, helpful, and make it so it’s not a place you dread to come to. They are a credit to our Nhs and I am so glad that I am having my treatment at this fantastic new Liverpool hospital.

I have received excellent care from both Clatterbridge sites, Wirral and Liverpool. Yesterday the Nurses on the 24 hour help line and the Clinical Decisions Unit went above and beyond to help with my chemo pump problem. They arranged transport for me and even stayed after their shift ended to make sure I was all sorted. They only told me they had stayed on because I asked. They were so friendly, kind and professional. I feel so reassured to know there is such a fabulous team of Nurses there should I ever need them again.

First class care and treatment, from the most amazing staff on Radiology, Clatterbridge Liverpool. What a great spirit and a lovely connection between the Doctor/Vascular surgeon (replacing my chest Port) and his team. I felt in safe hands throughout. Good luck with the new venture joining up with the Royal Liverpool. We are all so lucky and grateful to have you.

I'm super impressed with the new hospital, been with Clatterbridge for over 3 years now, had treatment between there and the Royal, as lovely as the staff were at the Royal the chemo suite was very small and under equipt. I'm sooo happy these new facilities are available, and proud of Liverpool City for facilitating them. To walk into a hospital that's just for cancer patients, as one of them patients you feel less vulnerable to other infection etc also. So happy I donate to this amazing building with top of the range facilities. I can't thank you enough for saving my life, and now with this new building and so much more to offer I hope many people from all over benifits from the great care to be had.

Worse clinic we have ever experienced. Since my mother got referred at this clinic her situation worsened every year with multiple metastases due to lack of duty of care. You are just a number for them, most consultations are over the phone, it takes ages to get your results and appointments through. They change the appointments without informing you. They neglect you as a patience. Every consultation you hear the same things cos they just want to get it done asap to move to the next patience, every question you ask the answer is β€œok we will book an appointment next week to consult about that they just waste time of your life that you can’t afford wasting….I can go on and on and on about how bad this place is. My mom was receiving a chemo which after a few months the doctor was aware that the chemo wasn’t working no more, after scan results being reviewed and compared but for a reason they kept her on the same treatment for another 4 months which result to a further metastasis. That’s only one of the hand full examples that I can give. Please please please stay away. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC. If you want to have a chance to a longer life expectancy stay away from here!!!!!!!

3 hours wait last week for a short briefing, over 2 hours first visit, a couple of consultants' workload is causing backlogs. (Edit) Some of the appointment correspondence can be a bit confusing, but these are truly decent, caring, hard working people who are dealing with people in crisis, that must be hard, respect. Transport service is fantastic, we are grateful for that in difficult times, well done.

The hospital maybe good but the consultant mary antony pilali is a horrible consultant informing my dad in a very blunt way he had months to live therefore crushing and destroying my dads hopes he was in tears because of you and he gave up living you are a disgrace to the profession news about a terminal illness should be told sensitively not in a cruel manner you are disgusting

Staff don't care and don't listen to paiteints and behave inappropriately and unprofessional by grabbing you and the so called pals team just want to brush any complaints under the carpet and pretend nothing has happened well I refuse to be treated by them and I don't feel safe there

Newly built hospital dedicated to treatment of cancer. The hospital is clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. Nothing is too much to ask. Most departments run to time, we have only had one time when a department was running behind and this was due to technical issues. Car parking is a small distance away but if you don't fancy a 10 minute walk there is a bus service that runs from outside the hospital every 15 minutes throughout the day.

Amazing state of the art hospital for chemo or radiotherapy treatment. Every room on the wards are single rooms for each patient.

My wife has been diagnosed with cancer. Everyone has been unfailingly professional and empathetic, she has been seen very quickly and I cannot praise the people here highly enough. If you are due to go here you will get the best treatment possible.

Went there yesterday for a mri scan for my cancer condition I found the hospital extremely clean and the nurses that conducted my procedure were very polite and very professional .thank you all for making my visit uncomplicated and pleasant. The only thing I would say and this is not the hospitals fault make sure you validate your parking ticket in the hospital and not at the free car park .
