A historic building that was originally a school is now in use as a Community Centre with numerous activities and a centre for activities such as dancing. It houses the local library, staffed by volunteers. Also there is a very nice cafe offering tea, coffee, cakes, soups etc.

Well located, super breakfast in the cafe (concession AIUI), decent amount of parking for visitors.

Visited for the first time in the hall for my granddaughters shared birthday party. Good sized hall. Nice and clean. The cafe next to the hall looked good too. Reasonably priced food and drink. There is a good sized car park for parking. There is access into the hall for wheelchairs too. Looks to be a well used centre good to see.

Able to accommodate a last minute booking for which we were very grateful due to rain affecting the party plans. Staff were on site as we arrived and were very helpful. Would definitely use the Centre again.

Lovely community centre in the heart of Hoole village. Lots of different activities going on 7 days a week. Dancing lessons, talks, pickle ball, table tennis, chocolate making & more 😃 nice on site café & free parking for approx 30 cars? It's free anyway! Well worth a visit.

Attended a poetry workshop this afternoon in the library. The centre is an excellent place for meetings, workshops etc and has a cafe where light lunches and refreshments can be obtained. There is ample parking and disabled access/toilets. Everywhere clean and well run by helpful staff.

We held our daughter’s 8th birthday in the hall. What a beautiful room! All parents commented on how beautifully decorated it was. Everything was perfect, very easy to book, professional, great communication, and a beautiful room. It was the best day. Thank you.

Cosy and comfortable place for holding small events such as Bday parties and mehndi etc. Attended an Asian pre wedding ceremony there and loved it. Food needs to be catered from outside.

Good Community Centre with plenty going on and a nice cafe area. Good sized car park but depending on popularity and the time of events (late afternoon generally) not helped by narrow access road occassionally causes parking mayhem. Should be a one way street but not a lot staff can do about that.

A great community centre in the heart of Hoole. The classes they run and community events are always of a high standard. I’ve eaten in the Hobson cafe a couple of times and had a good bowl of soup and a roll. The cakes have been nice too. The summer festivals are good too. It’s got a handy car park too with plenty of spaces.

Always lots going on during the day, its great for the community. I like how they have community events that anyone can attend. I couldn't stay at the gin tasting event because there were not enough chairs and the music was far too loud. It was very busy and people seemed happy to be there but I didn't feel very welcome for some reason so we left before having a drink or trying the food.
