I
was
most
disappointed
by
the
incompetence
of
the
staff
at
the
Lache
community
centre.
I
booked
the
venue
over
the
phone
in
good
faith
and
when
I
went
to
pay
the
deposit
I
was
told
that
it
was
no
longer
available
as
there
was
another
booking
that
had
been
made
12
months
earlier
that
hadn't
been
put
in
the
diary!
When
I
made
the
booking
I
left
my
telephone
number
but
nobody
thought
to
contact
me
about
the
double
booking.
At
the
time
of
booking
I
was
told
that
I
didn't
have
to
do
anything
else,
my
booking
was
in
the
diary
but
to
ensure
that
I
paid
the
deposit
at
least
one
week
before
the
planned
event
(7th
Oct).
I
went
to
pay
the
deposit
yesterday
(18th
September)!
Aren't
I
glad
I
didn't
leave
it
until
the
week
before
the
event,
imagine
the
pressure
of
trying
to
find
another
venue
at
such
short
notice.
There
was
no
apology,
instead
I
was
informed
'it's
impossible
to
do
it"
"can
you
not
hold
your
event
the
following
day?".
Well
no,
we
had
already
sent
out
the
invitations.
My
advice
would
be
to
make
sure
you
get
something
in
writing
when
you
make
a
booking
at
this
venue,
or
better
still
find
a
different
venue!
Personally
I
most
certainly
won't
be
using
them
again!
