Went
on
Saturday
as
I
work
full-time
(fancy
that)
to
renew
my
driving
license,
having
seen
other
reviews
&
been
WH
Smith's
before
I
was
a
bit
apprehensive
so
I
tried
to
call
ahead,
but
there's
no
direct
number
&
the
automated
service
wasn't
clear.
So
I
headed
down
there
was
a
queue.
There
were
no
signs
to
indicate
services
were
not
available
&
there
was
1
person
at
the
desk
several
people
were
turned
away
but
I
couldn't
over
hear
as
to
why.
Someone
else
tried
to
question
the
lady
who
was
briefly
away
from
the
desk,
but
was
told
they
needed
to
queue
to
ask
a
question.
By
now
I
was
pretty
sure
that
I
wasn't
going
to
get
the
service
advertised
at
the
branch
&
that
I
had
particularly
wanted.
But
I'd
bumped
into
a
work
colleague
&
as
I
had
especially
come
for
this
I
queued.
On
getting
to
the
person
serving
I
more
or
less
said
I
guess
I'd
be
disappointed,
she
confirmed
that
she
couldn't
renew
my
license
as
she
was
the
only
one
on.
When
questioned
she
said
that
this
was
a
regular
occurrence
&
when
asked
why
there
wasn't
a
sign
she
said
she
didn't
have
time
which
made
little
sense
considering
the
frequency
this
appeared
to
happen
&
the
amount
of
time
spent
answering
individuals
who
were
wanting
digital
services.
The
number
for
the
branch
for
complaints
is
simply
a
referral
service
to
online
complaints
&
another
number.
I
am
going
to
complain
but
due
to
the
fact
this
seems
to
be
been
an
issue
for
sometime
it
obviously
seems
head
office
don't
care
at
all.
Considering
this
is
the
main
office
for
around
10
miles
to
serve
the
whole
chesterfield
area.
This
"service"
is
frankly
not
good
enough.
For
anything
other
than
core
postal
services
on
the
weekend
don't
bother
