Awful experience dealing with this veterinary office! Definitely not what I would call a professional place at all. If you are considering bringing your animal here for care I would seriously look around at other options. We adopted a kitten from the Muncie Animal Care and Services. We were told by the animal shelter that we got 1 free vet visit for our kitten as long as we scheduled within 5 business days. We were given a list of vets that were options and we picked Country Critters as this was the nearest facility to us. We scheduled the appointment fine and the woman we spoke to was very nice and polite, but the problems came when we went to confirm our appointment. We had a text and an email with the request to confirm our kitten's appointment. However, the links would not go through. So we contacted the vet by phone to confirm only to be told there was no such appointment. She was very rude on the phone this time immediately after checking the schedule. After telling the office that this was set up weeks prior and we had proof of appointment they then tell us that: "Oh sorry, but this appointment was cancelled due to nonpayment". This was upsetting as we were told we got 1 FREE vet appointment for our cat. They then proceeded to tell us that we needed to have previously made a "deposit" for the vet appointment over the phone because the appointment was just to get our cat into the office, but not to actually see him. I have never heard of a "deposit" for a vet visit. And I have never been asked up front for payment information unless I knew what services were to be offered. I would never just give a random deposit and not know what tests they wanted to run. At any other vet there is the initial visit where the veterinarian looks over an animal, and then the veterinarian discusses what tests they would like to run or any vaccinations given. You then get the option to agree upon tests or vaccines. Then you are given the total costs of all tests and then it is paid for upon those tests that you agree upon or vaccinations. I have never heard of a "deposit" in all my years of having animals and taking them to a vet. I obviously expected that some routine tests would be needed such as a stool sample, and our kitten is due for some vaccines, but I wanted a total cost of those services before I just handed over any card information. How unprofessional. Now unfortunately since obviously the 5 days for a free vet visit has passed it is too late to schedule this appointment with another vet for the free initial visit so I will just take our kitten somewhere more local to us where I am guaranteed good and professional service and care I can count on for our kitten. We have NEVER had this issue in the past with any other veterinarian office. Worst experience ever before we even set foot in the door. That should be a warning to all.

You will have better luck getting your animal into a neurosurgeon before you can get an appointment here. Coming from someone with 4 bullies and a cat. I've spent $ multiple thousands of dollars here. In the last 3 years. But they can't even squeeze 1 dog in the schedule to empty his glands for at least a month. Ill let that go for a month, lmfao...nope. They send postcards to remind you of when shots are due. Just be assured tho, they will get you an appointment 2 months after their shots expire. At some point my animals comfort is not worth what Country Critters can fit into their schedule.

Complete fiasco when we took our dog to get a toenail fixed because it had split up to the toe. Veterinarian said it required surgery and we had it done, now 4 weeks later we take him back in because it hasn’t healed yet and find out his toe was broken and it happened during the surgery and now we have to pay over $800 for them to amputate his toe. Plus when ask why they didn’t say anything about the broken toe the vet was VERY rude and condescending and refused to answer any questions face to face.

We are so thankful for the team at Country Critters. Jessica and Dr. Eddleman were both kind and patient with us and our anxious Doberman we recently rescued. They are very knowledgeable, and they gave us time to consider our options and ask any further questions. We were also about to have our Doberman neutered at a different and cheaper clinic, but since we felt so secure here with Dr. Eddleman and his staff, we have decided to have the surgery done here at Country Critters. We trust that our fur-babies are in good hands.

I would give this clinic 10 stars if I could, we’ve been to a few vets in our 3 years of pet parent life and Country Critters takes the cake. The staff goes above and beyond to show they truly care, take the time to explain things and makes sure all questions are answered. Top notch vet care for your furry family members!

They are great with communication and the prices are always comparable to the services they are providing. My dog loves going to see them which is the opposite of the stories you usually hear about vets.

Country Critters Veterinary Hospital is our favorite clinic and consistently provides top-notch care. We can never say enough great things about Dr Veronica Busick, and Alison and Sarah were very helpful, informative, and accommodating today with our new cat. We very much appreciate their compassion!

I love the friendly front desk staff. They are fun and friendly. They always make me feel like we're friends rather than another client to get checked in and out. The vet techs are patient and kind. We've lost two of our pets in the last month and I truly believe everyone of them grieved our kids with us. Everyone you encounter makes you feel like you are a part of their family. The vets are extremely busy but never make us feel rushed or a bother when we ask questions. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our pets well being and health.

I love everything about this office. It is clean. It is spacious. The staff is caring. The doctors are great. Everyone truly cares about our animals. I didn't like the idea of multiple doctors at first. However, seeing a different doctor ended up helping our oldest dog a great deal. The doctor had an idea of an additional supplement that turned out to greatly help. Highly recommend this veterinary office to anyone!

I found Country Critters when I had an emergency with one of my dogs and I immediately switched to them as my permanent vet. They're always so nice and they always treat my dogs like they were their own.

I appreciate you were able to get Meeko in so quickly having never seen him before. Our previous vet had went down to once a week and I was looking for a new vet that I could trust. Received the referral from a friend of mine and so glad I did.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me tips for training my puppy. You could tell they love animals. I was given a package of information on how to train and care for my puppy. Best vet office I've ever been to!

We brought our dog there for management of his anxiety and for his medication after our previous vet left. They were made aware he has severe anxiety and does not do well without myself or husband there well in advance to the actually appointment. When we showed up they refused to let us go in with him even though we were told on the phone prior that we could. They locked him in a room by himself for 20+ minutes and then the vet refused to provide services until we muzzled him. The vet tech brought him back out to us without problems and stated he 'lunged' at the vet when she walked in the room. Then recommended taking him to Carmel for a behavior consultation (the breed is known for separation anxiety). The following appt they did let my husband go inside but after the initial intake, proceeded to take our dog 'to the back' to do the exam and administer his shots. The vet then refused to see him again until he was muzzled even though my husband tried to get them to do the exam with him present. The vet tech was amazing and our dog showed zero aggression the entire time the tech was in the room, even leaning against her and loving on her. Dr. Veronica Busick is horrible with dogs, refused to acknowledge our concerns regarding the visits and labeled him as 'very aggressive' when he has known severe anxiety. She did nothing but traumatize our dog even more. We will not be going back.

We will not be returning for services for our 3 dogs. The last appointment that was made for our GSD and American Bulldog, we were sent away. The staff said because we did not confirm our appointment, they canceled it. We showed up 10 minutes before our appointment time. Then they would not let us purchase flea, tick and heartworm medicine that our dog's were due for. I called to see if there was something they could do to get my dog's the medicine they prescribed them and I was told the veterinarian would call me back. Nobody returned my phone call. We spent over 1000 dollars last year and we're fooled into thinking these people cared about our babies enough to look past something that had to do with miscommunication of a unconfirmed appointment. I would understand more if it was a no call no show but we showed up on time. This place clearly only cares about money and not the well-being of your loved one's. Find another veterinarian.

You took your time with my dog. It wasn’t an in & out like we were used to take our money where is the next animal to treat. It was a very nice change and I’m glad I made the switch. My dog wasn’t afraid of you, he kept going back to the door to see where you went! Everyone was so friendly and didn’t seemed rushed.
