Awful
experience
dealing
with
this
veterinary
office!
Definitely
not
what
I
would
call
a
professional
place
at
all.
If
you
are
considering
bringing
your
animal
here
for
care
I
would
seriously
look
around
at
other
options.
We
adopted
a
kitten
from
the
Muncie
Animal
Care
and
Services.
We
were
told
by
the
animal
shelter
that
we
got
1
free
vet
visit
for
our
kitten
as
long
as
we
scheduled
within
5
business
days.
We
were
given
a
list
of
vets
that
were
options
and
we
picked
Country
Critters
as
this
was
the
nearest
facility
to
us.
We
scheduled
the
appointment
fine
and
the
woman
we
spoke
to
was
very
nice
and
polite,
but
the
problems
came
when
we
went
to
confirm
our
appointment.
We
had
a
text
and
an
email
with
the
request
to
confirm
our
kitten's
appointment.
However,
the
links
would
not
go
through.
So
we
contacted
the
vet
by
phone
to
confirm
only
to
be
told
there
was
no
such
appointment.
She
was
very
rude
on
the
phone
this
time
immediately
after
checking
the
schedule.
After
telling
the
office
that
this
was
set
up
weeks
prior
and
we
had
proof
of
appointment
they
then
tell
us
that:
"Oh
sorry,
but
this
appointment
was
cancelled
due
to
nonpayment".
This
was
upsetting
as
we
were
told
we
got
1
FREE
vet
appointment
for
our
cat.
They
then
proceeded
to
tell
us
that
we
needed
to
have
previously
made
a
"deposit"
for
the
vet
appointment
over
the
phone
because
the
appointment
was
just
to
get
our
cat
into
the
office,
but
not
to
actually
see
him.
I
have
never
heard
of
a
"deposit"
for
a
vet
visit.
And
I
have
never
been
asked
up
front
for
payment
information
unless
I
knew
what
services
were
to
be
offered.
I
would
never
just
give
a
random
deposit
and
not
know
what
tests
they
wanted
to
run.
At
any
other
vet
there
is
the
initial
visit
where
the
veterinarian
looks
over
an
animal,
and
then
the
veterinarian
discusses
what
tests
they
would
like
to
run
or
any
vaccinations
given.
You
then
get
the
option
to
agree
upon
tests
or
vaccines.
Then
you
are
given
the
total
costs
of
all
tests
and
then
it
is
paid
for
upon
those
tests
that
you
agree
upon
or
vaccinations.
I
have
never
heard
of
a
"deposit"
in
all
my
years
of
having
animals
and
taking
them
to
a
vet.
I
obviously
expected
that
some
routine
tests
would
be
needed
such
as
a
stool
sample,
and
our
kitten
is
due
for
some
vaccines,
but
I
wanted
a
total
cost
of
those
services
before
I
just
handed
over
any
card
information.
How
unprofessional.
Now
unfortunately
since
obviously
the
5
days
for
a
free
vet
visit
has
passed
it
is
too
late
to
schedule
this
appointment
with
another
vet
for
the
free
initial
visit
so
I
will
just
take
our
kitten
somewhere
more
local
to
us
where
I
am
guaranteed
good
and
professional
service
and
care
I
can
count
on
for
our
kitten.
We
have
NEVER
had
this
issue
in
the
past
with
any
other
veterinarian
office.
Worst
experience
ever
before
we
even
set
foot
in
the
door.
That
should
be
a
warning
to
all.
