They informed that the consultation fees was Rs 700 while booking appointment but after seeing the gynecologist, we were asked to pay Rs.1000. 2.We were forced to register for a patient profile for Rs.500 in addition to consultation fees, even though we mentioned clearly it was a one time visit.. 3. We booked an appointment prior to seeing the gynecologist doctor (There were literally no patients at that time) but still we were asked to wait a long time, seemed the doctor was late.. 4. Best Maternity and children care hospital. Rooms and ambience are very comfortable and excellent. We had normal delivery. All the doctors are very positive peoples. Well experienced gynecologist, anaesthetist, physiotherapist and pediatric doctors are there. All the nurse, house keeping and admin staff are very friendly and doing good service. They available in 24×7.

Though we already knew Dr. Premalatha , recently we booked an appointment with her in the Motherhood hospital . The hospital staffs were kind in assisting us and the Front desk queries handled by Mr. Santhosh was very professional. Dr. Premalatha is one of the finest who patiently listens to all of our queries and addresses our concerns.

Motherhood services was excellent. The doctors are experienced. Nurses and staff were taking good care of me and my baby post delivery. Dr. Madhuri pediatrician is very good. We have had a positive childbirth experience in Motherhood Hospital, Chennai. The ambience is great. The place is very clean. The medical and non medical staff were all very good. They took good care of my wife and child. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Usually a good hospital and I liked their services. But shocked with an incident that happened recently - My baby had fever for 5 days. We came from vellore to motherhood. We had appointment at 1:15. We reached there by 12:45. Doctor was looking at fever babies. But administrative department forgot to inform about our baby and doctor went off for regular consultation. I had to wait for 1.5 hours and met doctor at 2:30. That happens in a hospital - understandable. After that doctor gave prescription to give nebuliser. Sister put medicine inside it and asked us to keep near baby. After 2 mins nebuliser stopped emitting heat and our baby was crying in the meanwhile - when we looked for sister no one was around. Literally no one around. It’s not like we use nebuliser every day. I don’t know what it is - should I hold for long or not. We waited for 10 minutes and then finally a sister came. Very poor support there. They added 300 for nebuliser service - I was angry because no support was given. When we checked with the manager there and complained, he said that’s how the protocol is - sister will go off after giving the nebuliser in your hand. Manager more over said - if we are okay we can come to hospital else we can use nebuliser in another hospital if that is recommended. Shocked with the response and I couldn’t talk back. I just walked out.

I consulted Dr. Premalatha and was guided after very well. Very professional. I had my delivery here as well. Pros: * Doctors * Friendly Nurses * Timely checkup by duty doctors * Room facilities I would have given 5 stars for the experience but taking out one due to poor service of some(not all) of the staff members. Nurses in night duty can be more vigilant on call if the call button is pressed instead of people having to go call them. Hygiene staffs can be trained better as we caught one of the cleaning maid trying to use a bed sheet from a vacated room, to change mine, instead of fresh laundry. An extra staff can be added to the pantry kitchen as there appears to be manpower shortage.

Motherhood was our first choice for delivery of our child even before we visited due to the great reviews we had heard. Once we paid a visit we were even more sure that our child should definitely set foot in this hospital, and we immediately did a booking ! We were informed of all the safety regulations, dos and donts , cooperation required from the attendant, expected overall cost, etc clearly and in advance and that transparency and clarity helped us plan for everything properly. Right from the time we entered at the time of delivery till we got discharged, the treatment was close to perfection and we couldn’t complain about anything . Be it the friendly staff, nurses and housekeeping , quality of the food, infrastructure, ease of admission/discharge, our complete experience at Motherhood was the best we could have hoped for and we were glad we chose the best ! When you charge so much for a room, the service should be god too. I understand hospitals have become commercial, but when a baby who is 22 months is admitted you cannot be so careless. We had to ask a 100 times to get the small assistance. The nurses were rude. The infusion pump was not working. The kid almost cried to sleep and the nurse commented that kids will cry and it's no big deal. When the kid was born in 2020 here, they offered this worst service and covered it up saying it's covid time. But now since situations r under control what improvement have u shown? Yes not happy with this hospital. I will not recommend this place.

I visited Motherhood for my COVID vaccine. The place is very clean, all the staff maintain all protocols. They have very restricted visitors, so it was quite empty when I went. They conducted all the formalities in a very professional and quick way. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Very impressed.

I had my entire pregnancy and delivery experience here. A really good, clean, well maintained hospital with all necessary amenities such as ultrasound and NICU. The doctors are well experienced. My pre-delivery period was very good. Staff was very professional and helpful. My delivery experience was great and all doctors, nurses and staff were amazing. The only problem I faced was post-delivery with the room I was in. Many complaints like AC making noise, ants in the room and noise coming from the bed. But, the maintenance staff was helpful and solved the problems quickly. I would recommend this hospital for excellent care of expecting mothers and infants.

I had a pleasant birthing experience. But, I'm overwhelmed with the way the nursing and house keeping staff were tirelessly making an effort to make my stay comfortable throughout my admission days. Special mention about the NICU nurses and nurse Saraswathy, who really pitched in an extra effort to help me throughout my stay. Loved the way the house keeping kept the place so hygienic and clean.

Dr Karpagambal Sairam delivered our baby on 20th Jan 2023. To start off with, the nurses in labor ward were extremely cooperative and understood our needs and mindset. Post delivery the medical staff in our floor were always available to help us and were open to answer all the doubts we had, no matter what time of the day it was. Cleaning staff kept the room and floor really neat and went about their duty on timely basis. Food department were prompt in giving food for new mother. Overall happy with the pleasant experience. Only two negatives is that some sort of smell kept coming from the AC in room 302. Maybe it needs a service, but it was not unbearable or inconsistent. The water was too salty, should consider installing softener or if they already have it, change or service it.

After so much of research I have decided to continue my wife’s pregnancy care after she return from Singapore. The hospital had lived up to its expectations. Dr.Premalatha was exceptional so as the other doctors who came to do their checks. Parking is a bit of concern. Admin staff and nurses should improve their standards in being patient like the doctors here.

Dr Kavya was the best. Just faced a couple of issues during my delivery. First issue: They don't want to provide a chair for my attender and for me during feeding even after multiple requests. Second issue: Free photoshoot is a scam. They'll claim it's free but after taking the photos they'll ask money to give us the soft copies and the cost was around ₹600 per photo soft copy.

I admitted motherhood hospital on 13th June for induced labour since my baby was a big baby and doctor abinaya and her team tried for the normal labour for almost 24 hrs but unfortunately my dilution was only 1 cm after so many attempts and had a c section. Really all the staffs were there was very helpful especially Shindhuja helped me a lot since am the new mommy i had so many doubts and she helped and explained me very patiently. Great hospital for delivery in Chennai...all doctors and nurses are very understanding and supportive..exactly what you need for a new mother. Administrative staff, PRO , Nursing staff are good, in LDR, recovery and postpartum. Esp. Ranjani sister and bhuvaneswari sister helped me a lot. Duty doctors,pediatrician and lactation consultant helped alot. However, the only drawback is the housekeeping, they should do better in sweeping, mopping and being available when needed.

Had a fairly good experience with motherhood hospital during my delivery. And great care was provided for my twins at the NICU. The Junior doctors and dr pushpa balasubramanyam my gynae were my greatest support system during my pregnancy in 2021. However they could have been a little more accomodative during covid - they made it difficult for us in-patients to have any attendants back then. So taking down one star for that. Follow up appointment for the babies have also been good with Dr maduri. But yes waiting time can be reduced and it will be good if walk-in appointments can be allowed for emergencies for babies.

Hospitality services are really impressive, Receptionist are well responsive. Mr Murali billing I been constant touch with him from admission till discharge. Very cooperative. Maternity ward and rooms are well maintained. They got different category of rooms according to our budget we can choose among.

We had an amazing experience of witnessing the birth of my son in this hospital. Every concern we had was attended to with great care and warmth. The nursing staff and the doctors were exceptional in taking care of the mother and the kid. Kudos to the hospital staff and the team !
