Biriyani was just awesome. Recently most restaurants dont serve good biriyani. Mostly its a disappointment but was totally satisfied with this one. Provided good quantity and quality. Chicken was perfectly good. Good amount of gravy was provied. Totally worth the price. 150rs for single biriyani. Its hard to get seats. But definitely worth a try.

Might be the day i went to the shop was bad, but the food was below average at best. Rice was old/overcooked. No taste in the masala and chicken had a weird taste. Quantity and service wise it was good by the way. Will see in future what it brings.

This place used to serve very nice biriyani. Buy however the taste quality has been gone down in past several years. Sure its a lot in quantity. But now these days it tastes more like kabsa than biriyani. I guess basheer has been taking shortcuts? I don't see pineapple, raisins or cashews in it like it used to be. Nor the rose water or the ghee flavor. They use a lot of onion and some masala which rice takes a lot of masala flavor from, could result in giving the rica kabsa like flavor. Is it worth the money?, yes for one time event its something but i wouldn't call it a proper biriyani. If i have a chance, i would ask him to bring back the old taste.

Absolutely awesome. The place looks old and not modern but the food was damn nice. For 140rs you get enough quantity for 2 people in a single plate. Had 3-5 pieces of chicken and waaay more than enough masala. Would recommend 10/10 and would take my friends there again. :)

One of the good biriyani shops in Kayamkulam. I bought both chicken and beef biriyani. I prefer beef over the chicken. Chicken is kinda fried type not my choice. But beef is awesome. Beef pieces are very soft and the masala is very nice.

I had beaf biriyani and my brother had chicken,both of us got food poison and started vomiting from yesterday, currently we are under treatment and taking rest,so my advice is please try to avoid such restaurants taste might be great but In return if it's taking a toll on your health.
