    Been near oorali appoppan kavu.... since it flows through reserve forest, not polluted. Beautiful scenic place. Very serene atmosphere and clean. A place for spiritual awakening.

    Calm , green , middle of a forest , sandy natural river . Bath here gives you a complete refreshment Not crowded

    Blessed to be on the banks of this magnificent river with bone chilling water and vast river bed just on the fringe of the forest. Perfect moments before and during sunrise and most apt moments @ twilight and late night with the full moon.

    The river is unique in that along its route is a large number of ancient temples, indicating that the richness of the river basin has been identified by humans since ancient times and they preferred to settle down there so that they could grow their crops on the fertile lands. Edappon, a place famous for its flora and fauna, near Pandalam is on the banks of the Achankovil river
