This 76 year old restaurant was established during 1947 by N.R.Gopala Iyer. It is still the hotel loved by most of the people due to its authentic quality and taste of food. I would give 5 stars because it is meant. This hotel according to me almost 50 years the same taste as it was. The other thing is the price. Cheap and best in this period it did not multiply it added that's all. Hotel business is made only for profits in these days. But Sri Lakshmi Vila's is doing great as the olden days.

Visitors starved of hunger Failed to provide serving vessels, table paper and paper cups unable to provide deserts on time to the visitors Traditional foods sambar, aviyal and yam curry tastes bad... When questioned about these things we were being treated harshly... Calling repeatedly numerous times during the function for settling the money... Never ever make the same mistake as i did... Wow. Nostalgic experience. Was a regular here when I was a kid. Remember buying dosa, jangri, ladoo, mixture etc. At that time the only place where you get good filter coffee. Enjoyed the dosa, gatti chutney (as they call it) - the jangri tasted like it always used to - yum. Good to see the hotel still operational.
