It's one of the several govt run tragedies of modern India. The level of service they provide is pathetic despite the public interest, they are still running on paper tokens and it takes hours of wait time to just withdraw a matured NSC deposit. Just don't understand why they provide banking services when they don't have the capability and competence.

Miserably slow. Those waiting were clearly prepared for seasons to change before their turn. This 'post office' had 4 counters open when I visited. Out of these, only one was handling mail and related services. The harried lady at the counter was clearly out of her depth. The token machine seemed to have deliberately set about a quarter of an hour fast in the hope that customers would not realise how long they had been waiting. The only saving grace was that I was able to actually mail the letter after all was said and done.

Visited today for sending parcel. I was really surprised by the service level and the way they helped . Ms.Ashwini an assistant in the post office seem to be all in all she is been attending not only customer she also explaining the other staff members for their queries. She helped me to pack and also directed me to the counter where I need to book the parcel . I need to take token from the red colour button and waited for my turn . The clerk at the counter was so helpful and gave the prices for speed post as well as ordinary post . My experience have been very good unlike jp nagar Post office which totally bad

Well maintained and well behaved staffs dude to server issues most of the time the work gets late and there is a token system and hich is compulsary for all where as the token number will be announced and counter will be assigned usually there will be a lot of crowd till noon so plan yourself and reach hear and there is a parking issue also hear.

Headpost office of this area - my experience was very good. Pavithra of PLI department and Neena Kulkarni madam of SB section are very cooperative and helpful. I got lot of help from them for my PLI and NSC.

Although there is a 'India Post Payments Bank' board, the service to create an IPPB account 'might' not be available due to technical issues and you 'might' have to visit the branch in person to enquire whether the servers are fine. Phones aren't reachable.

Extremely cooperative polite and caring staff! It was my first time trying to courier something all by myself ! They helped me out in every possible way! Mr Babu and Ms Ashwini . Thank you ve re much for such a smooth experience!

Extremely slow and generally there's only one counter open even though there is a provision for 5. You have to spend a minimum of 2hrs to even deposit 10 Rs

Need update balance machine like banks where customers can update pass book, waiting time hours on end for senior citizens, customer care officer speaking english, hindi must to fill forms to save time, all counters must be staffed for quick delivery of services

Bad experience with speed post team. I went there for collecting my Item with My all I'd card. aftr waiting 2 hours they are telling need office seal and all for giving the item. I think they are expecting extra money for this.. whn i went there lot f staffs are sleeping . Even they are showing a kind of attitude that I'm distrubing them

Like all Govt. Services, you will have to be patient. Had to drop a parcel, took the token, thankfully was not crowded, waited for my no. Went to the window gave the details, package, paid and done! Lady at the window was very helpful and patient. 3 people were in queue before me.. in and out in 30 mins...

The gentleman at the international parcel service counter was very courteous and helpful. Excellent service! The post office does not provide packaging services, but they will provide corrugated cardboard boxes of different sizes for a price (if they have them in stock). You'll first have to present your shipment for inspection at the post office and receive the necessary customs forms. You can then take it next door to the Jayanagar Computer Mane stationery shop for packaging as per India Post specs, bring the package back to the post office, get it registered, pay, and send it off.

I am all in to use the services of India post to send out parcels but even now if upi payments are not accepted then well its a big problem. Digital India everywhere but India post refusing to accept online payment is the biggest irony!

No extend hour speedpost. Weekdays 9am to 3pm Saturday 9am to 1pm Sunday Holiday. it’s HPO, and still functions worst than the small PO at my village. Here so called govt. employees just know how to finish the office hours.

They have the worst employee ever. Not at all helpful. And suggesting not to use indian post and use private post. They misbehaved too. And felt really helpless.

Am a senior citizen and wanted to transfer account from one branch to HO Jayanagar. Staff most unhelpful did not return my form and when I complained to postmaster, staff insisted that my form had been given back to me. Total harassment. Untrained to handle senior citizens, disrespectful and indifferent. Can't post offices make transfers smoother?why has CIF been issued if one has to give same documents over and over again

Very good for sending reg post and speed post. But for small savings etc., one has to be prepared for long waiting times, very slow processing etc. which gets very frustrating. Some of the staff have no concern for people's time. Some kept responding only in the local language even when I spoke in English. Please be willing to speak in English. Very poor customer handling.

Went to the Post office to enquire about delivery of my package but saw they are closed on a working day, 30/Nov/2020. The post was dispatched by RTO over 2 months ago, but it hasn't been delivered yet. This is the dismal state of our India Post in Bangalore.

The token system for postal services takes the pain out of waiting in queues here. Ample seating is available while you wait for your turn at the counters.

No discipline, Staffs are time passing.. Not a service minded people... Most all counter not working.. Bad attitude staffs attending agents only. For cash depositing PPF account wait for 2hours. Bad experience.

I would give a -1 If I could this place doesn't deserve 1 star either, no respect for one's time. I had to collect a parcel which was already paid for and I had wait for 20 minutes even when there was no one before me, no queue nothing only reason being the person in charge was too busy chit chatting and using his phone. Pathetic service by India post. Anyways this feedback isn't gonna make any difference for all I know, I guess that's what you get from these government services you are paying axes for.

Full of ladies staffs, very slow and most of the staffs are not efficient. Requesting to reduce the time taken for every transaction and also please increase the counters just two counters serving 50 custumers can't help. Every citizen time is important. Try and bring online service.

Went to post a registered parcel pretty late and thought it wouldn’t happen but thought I’ll try my luck. one employee was very friendly and suggested that you can post and asked me to go ahead to a counter where another employee gave excuses. Ultimately job not done. No wonder people seek out private couriers because even though we seek out government services they don’t function efficiently and are not customer friendly as expected.

No Response to Customers Salary they are taking Without Work. They are making Loss to Citizens and Government of India. Wate of Salary to these people 4 clock they will go to Home.. Worst Service Here Remove these people from Job take Working Labour as per Salary Here

Staff at counter no.7 with a 'May I help you' board has loads of attitude. Looks like he doesn't want customers to opt for mobile/internet banking. Inspite of asking for 2 forms for 2 accounts, he gave only one. Then I had to ask again. Thou, I got the 2nd form, his attitude was uncalled for.

Bad experience.Shame on the postal department itself. They do not call or provide home delivery. too bad.

Only one person is working for the RD and Saving section. Very pathetic condition. The display board not at all having the numbers!

One of the worst service I have ever had. Received my parcel with some of my stuffs broken, Even though i kept a tag with the word FRAGILE on it. Worst experience ever.
