Divey
speakeasy
vibe
with
middle
of
the
road
cocktails
and
gastro
pub
fare,
delivered
with
friendly
service.
We
sat
in
the
downstairs
Side
Door
speakeasy
of
sorts,
which
felt
more
like
a
dive
bar
rather
than
a
classic
speakeasy,
but
not
in
a
bad
way.
Our
server
was
a
one-man
bartender
and
server
and
held
it
down
with
a
full
room
which
was
admirable.
The
food
was
mixed.
The
wings
were
solid,
the
peppers
decent,
the
chicken
sandwich
disappointing
(oddly
tough
chicken,
maybe
not
the
best
quality)
and
the
sausage
quite
tasty.
Enjoyed
the
popular
Blue
Milk
(Suntory
Roku
Gin,
Calpico,
Blue
Curacao,
Falernum,
Lemon,
Cardamom,
Orange
Bitters)
but
not
the
Ten
Sins
(Mezcal
Banhez,
Tequila
Rooster
Rojo
Blanco,
Elderflower,
Yellow
Chartreuse,
Dry
Vermouth,
Campari).
Nice
local
spot,
but
nothing
worth
crossing
neighborhood
lines
to
get
to.
