Considering 270ntd price, this burrito was very small but even more disappointing in terms of flavor. 80% rice with little flavor, and a bit of beef. Pictured here I had already eaten half of it just trying to check if there was anything else stuffing this poor excuse for a burrito. The Mexican salad was maybe even worse?! For 250ntd, this small lettuce pile added 4 slivers of avocado and a bad generic honey mustard dressing. Finished only out of guilt because it cost more that a tasty local meal for a couple. Oh and a few chips - only thing Mexican tasting in the whole meal. So sad guys.

Overall food is average… couldn’t expect too much when we are away from the origin. About disappoint was when I asked for Hot or Spicy Sauce, the waiter said They don’t have it. When I ware paying the meal, I saw a bottle of Hot/ Spicy Sauce at the bar counter.

I had the chorizo burrito. It was terrible and I had difficulty eating it. The rice was dry and tasted like it was 3 days old. The beans were just a flavorless mush. Based on the reviews, this restaurant was likely good at one time a few years ago but any quality standards they had are now gone.

Great little Mexican restaurant here in Taipei. They have an outdoor seating area if the weather is nice. A little bar area to serve up some top self tequilas, cervezas and margaritas. A small indoor seating area with nice decors and several tables. I'm sure ambient is good at night with some music. Food was good, not heavy or salty. Generous portion of guac on the side for the chips. Corn tortillas chicken tacos for me and chicken taquitos for the wife, both were pretty good. Overall we enjoyed it and will have to come back for other dishes in the menu with some drinks next time.

I had high hopes for Teotihuacan given the colorfully inviting interior decor that reminded me of my time in Mexico, but as a Californian who spent 30 years of my life eating Mexican food, including over half a decade as a part of a Mexican family, I left feeling extremely disappointed. First, the chicken mole was the spiciest and most watery I've ever had. Good mole is well-balanced and thick, not runny. This was the opposite. The guacamole and salsa were also watery. Both the chicken mole and tacos arrived very quickly (as in a little too quickly) and they were lukewarm, not hot. The lemon that came with the taco dish was definitely not fresh. The service was as disappointing as the food. The staff seemed unhappy to be there, and overall the restaurant has a weird vibe. My wife is from California so she said this is West Coast Mex which specializes in burritos. Here is our take...the nachos were VERY VERY TASTY...we got the beef burrito and it was DELICIOUS...we decided to try the tacos...ordered the carnitas which were VERY DRY and the corn tortillas were not good at all. Food was pretty good considering how few good Latin food places there are in Taipei. Ultimately though the portion sizes to prices are a bit on the extreme side and our tres leches was entirely frozen. Not spectacular enough for the price of everything.

The Mole de Olla is very similar with the beef soup, tasty! The shrimp taco with extra topping is just great. The nachos tasted with more corn flavor. Price wise jt mirrors US west coast prices for a family of 4, which is kind of pricey for Taipei. Note that the servers seemed to only speak English, which is fine. I had a wonderful experience in this restaurant! This place is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been in Taiwan. The location is super convenient, it’s located in the main area of Taipei near Zhongxiao Dunhua station just 2-3 mins walking. The foods so far so good, my favorite one is Enchiladas. The drink is really really good, my recommended drink is Agua de Jamaica. As well as cocktails! We have tried Mojito and Margarita, the alcohol is quite strong.

It’s not terrible but I have to say none of my latin friends were impressed. The menu looks legit and the decor is very cute. The refried beans were ok, but I know it’s hard to get that right with maybe different beans in asia. The mole was way too sweet. Shrimp ceviche was way to sweet, the enchiladas were not oven baked, tacos were ok, burrito was the most decent one of the mains. The guac was good. The food is super slow. Ice americano was super watery. We were hungry so we ate but I don’t think I would personally return.

Definitely cant compare it with margarita at the other tex mex restaurant. The margarita here was exceptional. Oh they do sell piñata as well😉
