FOOD: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The quality of the food was spectacular. The curry was rich and full of flavor. SERVICE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - The service staff that we encountered were probably the most friendly staff that we have encountered in Taiwan ever. They can also speak fluent English and Mandarin (the menu is also in English and Mandarin). - The staff were a little inexperienced but with a little guidance and training they have the potential to be great. - Recommendation on a meal from the staff was great! She was knowledgeable on the menu and took the time to listen to what I would to have and customized the meal slightly for me so that we don't have overlapping flavors (this was very impressive) - The staff served us with a smile and positive attitude constantly which made our experience at the restaurant such a memorable one. - The owner (or we think is the owner) approached our table at the end of our meal and first thing he asked us was would we want some desert, which would of been fine but we felt pressured to order something and he stood at our table waiting for us to order, which made us pretty uncomfortable and it felt like he was pushing us to order more than what we wanted. CLEANLINESS: ⭐⭐⭐ - The restaurant looked like it was missing some decorations from what we saw in the photo's on Google Maps. - We didn't spot anything immediate that we would consider "dirty" however there were a lot of bug zappers on the floor in the restaurant which would lead us to think there are some small insects in the restaurant often. We saw a few but not enough to really annoy us. PRICE: ⭐⭐ - I think price wise is the biggest down fall. For the portion that we received I think it was pretty expensive compared to other places in Taiwan. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Recommendations for the restaurant* - I think the restaurant could have had some of the basic operations for business ready before customers walk into the door such as having the music in the background playing before the customers enter the door. - When the owner (or I think was the owner) approached our table, he could maybe introduce himself, ask us how our meal was or maybe some light small talk to make the silence of the restaurant less apparent. - Keep up the amazing food (complements to the chef/cook) and the staff members were so warm and positive. Would I visit this restaurant again? Most definitely, I would love to visit the restaurant a lot more often. Unfortunately the price makes it a little challenging... I look forward to visiting soon again

What a treat to experience the many delicious Indian dishes at this award winning Indian restaurant! Too many dishes to rave about but some of my absolute favourites... garlic naan, onion naan, tandoori chicken (and the generous portion size!), shrimp curry (I kept going for seconds), mutton curry (prepared for 12 hours!), vegetable kebab, fish kolidewda... omygoodness... who would have thought I could fit so much food in my stomach! Yum... can't wait to come back again!

Best Indian food in Taipei if you ask me! I've lived here 16 years and tonight is my first time trying it! This will be my to go to Indian place in Taipei for sure!

I don’t usually like Indian restaurants in Taiwan. Why do I like this? Authentic is the first point, next are the staff- positive and vibrant, next is the environment, high class. This certainly is the only Indian I’ll be going to!!!

Been here a few times. They have recently updated their menu and the food looks and taste fantastic. Authentic taste with a modern catchy twist. They’ll add some more heat if you like it! Great service too!

As an Indian food lover, my husband and I are both surprised by the food quality. Love it. Will be back soon!

We love Indian food and would always seek out Indian restaurant in a new town. We ordered cold chickpea with onion, peanut, cilantro as appetizer. It's very good and something I've never seen on other Indian restaurants' menus. For entrees, I had Chicken Madras, which was underwhelming (the meat was tender but the sauce was ordinary), and my partner had Lamb Saag (lamb with spinach), which he said was very good. The roti was good too.

It was the best birthday celebration @ Tandoor Indian Restaurent in Taipei. Thanks mr Mandy for surprise cake 🎂 Highly recommended for luscious Indian food and cozy / warm environment. One of the oldest Restaurent in Taiwan.

A medium-priced Indian restaurant in Taipei, meaning it's not cheap. Butter Naan was fantastic, and curries were above par. Presentation was outstanding, unique and eye-catching. Somebody really put their effort into plating. Heard this restaurant was a favorite of the late Michael Jackson, but not really sure.🤔

good enough indian food in taipei. not too heavy. never been india so cant say if its authen. but its good compare to bay area ones. not very spicy

Pathetic service. The lady who took the order was very rude and was not accommodating. We requested for a Naan to be cut into 2 and she said that she cannot do it. This was just one of the few things. Food was just average and all curries had the same taste. I think the place deserves a better host

Very delicious Indian food in Taipei! There are not many Indian restaurants here so finding one where the food is good is a treat. Samosas and seafood curries are particularly good. Also amazing hospitality!

This is the second time that my family has eaten here and I can honestly say that this is the best Indian restaurant in Taipei. Every dish is excellent, the portions are generous and the whole vibe of the restaurant is amazing. Friendly, thoughtful service, sumptuous dishes, eclectic tasteful music. What a pleasure, what a wonderful experience.

Visited this Indian restaurant during pandemic. This placed served with pretty good food, and the atmosphere is great. Plus he price is fair. Will visit again.
