This place is excellent. I ordered the spring rolls and the yellow curry with a tuna salad. The only down side was the staff addressing my change to the order - she told me that food was pre-made and couldn't be changed but after I had her check with the chef they were happy to assist me. The rice was delicious and the salad was fresh fresh fresh and served with a delicious creamy sauce on the side. The yellow curry was a little bitey and full of flavor with the perfect amount of spices. A recently re-opened restaurant in Chiang Mai that is beautifully decorated. A semi-open air dining space with reliefs on the wall and there is a little bar for cocktails. This is located in old city, just a few hundreds meter away from Wat Chedi Luang. The food were all marvelous, came up in quite a big portion, and most importantly, not pricey. They serve both an authentic Thai dishes as well as Western food like calamari with tar-tar sauce, baby pork ribs with fries, and pastas. Unfortunately, pizza was not on the menu anymore since the re-opening. This place can accommodate quite a lot of people, and the staff were helpful. We had a lovely last dinner in Chiang Mai before head back to Bangkok and was satisfied with the service. All kids and the elderly were also able to enjoy the evening. My favourite of the night was the lamb massaman curry and the tom yum soup.

FYI there is a 7% service charge for the pleasure of being watched.

So very disappointed with this place. The beautiful look of the place attracted us but the evening did not live up to expectations. It was a special birthday for my wife and we effectively ended up eating separately. She had a fish course which came extremely quickly. I had ordered very simply - The Faces Special Burger. It took 50 minutes BEFORE IT CAME. How difficult is a burger, I ask? My wife had finished her whole meal before I got my very average burger and awful fries. The waiting staff were even embarrassed and kept suggesting it would be arriving soon. Very poor also was that the manager should have known and should have been out to apologise. We made our displeasure known to the poor waitress at the end but...still no manager. Very poor form. In summary - the place looks great but doesn't deliver basic service properly despite the hefty price tag and the charge for service!!

The ambiance is absolutely amazing. The chicken fried rice was good. I enjoyed the white wine. I paid about $10 for drinks and my meal. I would definitely come back to visit this restaurant.

I came in first before a white couple, but they were attended first by the receptionist and I was ignored…. If the other waitress did not point me out the receptionist would not attend to me. My first time being discriminated by a fellow asian. They ask me to sit in a waiting area and if I want to order ahead while waiting. The white couple then got seated to a table. But me, they serve my food in the waiting area. I look around and all those that have a table are either white or with a white person. I must have missed that this is a white only restaurant. I came because of the good pictures and review so wanted to experience dining in, but haha I think the 1-2 stars review for them have some credit. I rarely write reviews but for this I am happy to do so.

Visited this restaurant with husband for dinner, saw pineapple fried rice on the picture and couldn’t not not to order it, looked yammy . Portion was big, nice ingredients, lots of vegetables, shrimps, not only rice with a vision of seafood, but it was a little too dry for me, and to be honest taste not as I expected, it os one of my favourite dishes in Thai food, so I have what to compare to. Also we ordered salmon salad, portion is pretty big, salad was nice, but salmon was awful, it was fried too strong, tasted not good, we took it take away, but at home I also couldn’t make it taste better. Atmosphere in resto was nice, well decorated, romantic lightning. I think it is a nice place, but need to try more food options, maybe other dishes will be better But overall 4/5

Absolutely amazing venue. Good food, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We were walking past the place and went in out of curiosity. We were blown away by the lay out and found the prices both for food and drinks to be really reasonable. We did visit a few other places but none could compare to The Faces for us so much so that we recommended it to a group tourists who visited it and were equally impressed. Will definitely visit when I go to Chiang Mai again.

The salad and salmon were very nice however. There are many better places to eat out in Chiang Mai than this place for the price in my opinion.
