👍 Some of the best khao soi in Chiang Mai! The price is 100 baht but you get cauliflower and broccoli in your meal. So I think the price is justified and I feel like the portion size is a big more than usual khao soi places.. most chicken I ever got too. I recommend People often mention restaurant, chicken, curry, good, Khao, Thai, delicious, tasty, recommend, rice,

Great place! Delicious food, very cozy atmosphere. You can customise every dish to have either tofu, chicken, shrimp or pork. We had noodles, Khao soi and mango sticky rice. The owner is cooking and serving you. It’s like dining at someone’s kitchen. Some people leaving reviews saying that it takes too long to get food, my suggestion then to eat in McDonald’s to get your food fast. Our order took normal amount of time to arrive.

This place is a gem in ChiangMai. Thai food is delicious and super authentic. The restaurant is small, chilled and not fancy at all. But I guarantee you the food is everything you want from there. All staff is super friendly and welcoming and prices are very cheap and fair! Super recommended ! It was easy to tell them to do a plant based dish from a meat based dish they have in the menu.

Small local restaurant with traditional thai food. We are now 3 weeks in Thailand and here we tried the best red curry chicken so far. I would definitely recommend this place.

Delicious food! Highly recommend. Had the chicken with cashews - best I’ve ever had! Food was full of flavour and they were understanding about some dietary requirements I had. Definitely worth the wait, and we ended up having an interesting chat with the diners next to us :)

Loving this little hideout! Best of all eateries during my visit. From khao soi to the thai white curry, and the sweet mangoes - all superb! And the thai milk tea is not too sweet. Already missing the food! Thanks to Nun and his family/crew.

Just stopped at this little hard to find restaurant down a narrow Soi (alley). Had Khao Soi Gai. Great flavors. Really well done. I eat this all the time and I will be back.

I couldn’t resist starting to eat before taking pictures, sorry not sorry! Well… the food was simply delicious. I tried the pad Thai and their coconut soup, and both were ridiculously tasty. The place is cozy and clean, and the staff spoke English. Prices are on the higher side, but you certainly get the quality you pay for. There were two things I didn’t like: the staff weren’t very attentive, even though the place was empty, so I had to raise my voice a couple of times to get someone’s attention. Also, the tables aren’t that comfortable. But I was there for the food, and it was good, so I can’t complain too much.

The Khao Soi is delicious! Huge portion. The fish cake is recommended as a side order. The phad thai was good but it has less flavour then some other places we tried. Fantastic food however and prices are very reasonable. We would definitely eat here again just to have another Khao soi. The curries look good too. Hopefully next time.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. Apparently they had just re-opened after a renovation so there was a lot of celebrating and people visiting to congratulate Nun. It was really sweet. The place was packed and it appeared that everyone was sort of helping out. One of the guys who was also eating next to us offered to take our order. It felt like a sweet community! We had heard many good things about the food and it was absolutely freaking delicious. We liked that you could choose your protein in each of the dishes and that tofu was also an option. It was really hard to choose what to order but we settled on the green curry, the coconut soup with chicken and the pineapple fried rice. The curries were bursting with flavour and had a wonderful spice. They were filled with delicious veggies. The pineapple fried rice was also delicious. It was packed with veggies and pineapple and it was really mild but had a lovely taste to it. Nun's restaurant should definitely be on your list to try! The people are lovely and the food is incredible.

Amazing food at an affordable price. All the ingredients are brilliantly fresh and the dishes so aromatic. What we love most about Nun is that they do not use msg. The red curry is possibly one of the best we have tried. Khao Soi is flavorful yet not overpowering. The portion is quite huge for Pad Thai. The mango used in mango sticky rice is really fresh. As there are only a few tables, do go early for lunch.

Small restaurant. Menu is easy to understand. Staff knows basic English. Price is higher but the quantity fits the price. KhaoSoi chicken is good (they use breast meat :D) but the tofu version is not nice (tofu is too thick! maybe thinner slice will be better) Red curry chicken is flavourful. Kang Kong is also good. Fish cake is regular for me. Will return for other dishes 😄

My husband and I dined in this sweet, cozy restaurant tonight. We ordered the Massaman curry with rice, stir fried morning glory, and chicken pad kee mao. Everything tasted incredible (our personal favorite was the curry) and we are so happy we stumbled upon it! Our waiter (maybe Nun himself?) was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful meal!!

Had the Khao Soi, Pad Kee Mow and Spicy Basil Pork. Both tastes very strongly of Thai spices. So if you aren't well adjusted for these, it may be good for you to find somewhere else. All that sais, Khao Soi was amazing. Pad Kee Mow tasted little too strong of a certain spice I cannot identify. Basil Pork was delicious.

The food here is superb! Hidden down a forgettable street is this unforgettable restaurant; humble but welcoming, it is probably the best food I've had in Thailand. 3 of us dined and we all had Khao Soi, 2 prawn (150thb) and 1 fish (130thb). They were packed with noodles and vegetables and a perfect spice level. Extra spice on the side for those who want it.

Delicious food cooked by the owner himself and really unbeatable prices. This place is a bit hard to find as it is in a small side street, but if you do it will be worth it. He doesn’t open everyday because of lack of tourism right now (late Nov 2021) and he’s usually closed on Sundays but if there’s business he will open). Totally recommended, and as local as it gets.

I had a very simple and easy dinner. Wasn't as spicy as I would have liked. The food is very very good. The chef/waitress/cashier/ owner seems to be a very hard worker !!! The restaurant is very small, and quite busy. They have a very nice menu, big selection of different foods. All the meals I saw being eaten looked very tasty. It's not too expensive, but not super-cheap. They charge extra for rice....that is usually a giveaway. The food is high quality ! :D My simple chicken dinner with wonderfully-cooked veggies and a coke was 100 baht.... I left happy and satisfied

Nicely presented Thai dishes freshly prepared but really lacking flavor. We read reviews and watched a Vlog and were excited to eat here. The service was quick and friendly but the food really was bland, no doubt adjusted for Western palates. There were no Thai condiments on the table to give the dishes a boost. We ordered drunken noodles, cashew chicken, and green curry. The chicken was so over cooked it was like jerky, truly. I would have given them 4* but for the prices which are double other restaurants.

Food was tasty but service was slow. I waited for almost half an hour for my pad thai.

The Khao Soi was excellent with the best crispy fried noodles on top that I've had! I ordered the tofu one but wasn't a lover of the tofu. The pieces were too big & not crispy. However, there were vegetables in there too and with just those alone, it would have been absolutely perfect. Couldn't give 4 stars as the wait was long. Although it's a busy restaurant, Thai food always comes out quick. Would still go back without a doubt! Prices were reasonable too.

We ate here last night. Fantastic! We had the best Khao Soi that we have had on this trip. The prices are reasonable, too. We spent the equivalent of $35USD for three dishes and six beers. If they weren’t closed on Sundays, we would eat there again tonight. A couple of earlier reviews mentioned the harsh lighting in the restaurant. They have added upside down parasols that block the bright light and add a nice ambience.

The service was pleasant. The ingredients are very fresh, however the flavor of the curry a bit lacking. I could tell that the veggies in my red curry were probably purchased at the local market. Definitely focused on appeasing bland tourist palate and the menu is typical Thai fare. So if authentic spicy cuisine with a restaurant full of locals is what you're after, you will not find it here.

This place was recommended by a friend who lives in Thailand and we were not disappointed. Excellent food and very friendly service. The portions were very large. We ordered a pad Thai which was nice and a Khao Soi which was one of the best things we ate on our trip.

Really delicious food, we came twice and tried different curries and khao soi. The curries are THE BEST!! And khao soi so good, it’s the perfect amount of spiciness and the portion is big! Everyone here is very lovely 😊 we really recommend this place

It’s great value for money, the drunken noodles were fantastic. The menu also has pictures of the food making it easy to understand. The only real downside was the slightly harsh lighting, which made it hard to spend a long time there.

This was one of the best Thai restaurants that I experienced in Thailand. I took the Khao Soi, and it was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend it. It was spicy yet largely manageable, with more spice on the side to add to the main dish. The chicken was tender and the noddles were tasty. The portion was big, and I couldn’t even finish it. Prices were also reasonable compared to the quality. The server was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very calming. Overall a great experience!

One of the best Tom kha Gai I’ve had in Thailand! Really nice little restaurant. It was clean, chill and such a nice atmosphere. We will try coming back before flying away. I will for sure come back when I come back to Chiang mai! Service was really quick and food delicious! Thank you 😊

Great environment, Nun came out and spoke with his customers in between making meals. Not the best place to come if you’re hungry as the meals take quite awhile to prepare so you know it’s high quality and freshly prepared. Quite a small and intimate venue, they have a white restaurant dog called Focus who is adorable. A little bit more expensive than most places but I think it’s worth it with the average meal around 80 baht. #BeatTheGrind

Quaint place with good food. I ordered the green curry with chicken and the stir fried vegetables. Green curry was super tasty, but could have used more chicken and less Thai eggplant. Mixed veggies were good, but not spectacular. Overall solid food for a decent price, would recommend if looking for a tasty curry.

Food was good and affordable. However, a bit disappointed compared to the online reputation. We've tried similar places during our stay in Chiang Mai that we found better taste-wise. I would still recommend it for it's unique location and vibe.

Really impressed by this place. Delicious food, BIG serving sizes (and the pad thai has a lot of veggies in it), great value for money. Would recommend coming here when there aren't many people, i suspect food can take a while to come if it's packed. My experience here was fantastic. Thanks!

Small local restaurant but taste excellent. The serve for the two of us was not slow as the review, about 15-20min. We spend only 380THB for diner (2 pax)

Nun‘s is a nice little restaurant, hidden down a back street, with a strange taste in music. We waited an hour for our food, there was one table of 3 ahead of us. My Cashew nut Chicken was tasty, but nothing special. Portions were generous, but at 2 or 3 times the price of some other local restaurants (120-150 Baht per meal plus 20 Baht for rice), I'm not sure it was worth it.
