Clean rooms at an affordable price and great location in the old City. Recently remodeled and looks great. The rooms are modern now as is the lobby. Lots of parking available which is not easy to find in the old city. Prices are still good even after the remodeling. Good value hotel.

Clean, modern, good value, I guess it must have been renovated since all the bad reviews.

GREAT LOCATION - Staying here your close to a variety of interesting things, from the temple trips to the evening restaurant & river walks. The meditation center is very nice and the grounds are well kept. The morning buffet is good by Thai standards and weak by Western ideas of breakfast. The room accommodations are also about normal for a Thai hotel. Do not expect American or European World Class for $27.00 U.S. (that's not going to happen anywhere on this planet). As usual, I strongly recommend becoming familiar with Google maps. The city is lovely, cleaner and cooler than Bangkok and English is spoken better and by more people. Photographs are included of the surrounding area. All in all, I'd gladly return to The Vista. Probably will return.

The Vista Hotel has confusing reviews. The old hotel is now closed and there is NO restaurant in the new hotel. Same location still. Walk-in rate was lower than booking sites. Large clean room, excellent bedding and linens, good bathroom, efficient aircon. TV and refrigerator in room, plenty of storage space. No chairs however, but staff provided one upon request. Good service from staff, even if our Thai is non-existent and their English is limited, but communication worked well. No elevator and no porter/concierge for our luggage. Large and secure parking lot with guard. Excellent location in the Old Town.

Good place for one night stay. Rooms are clean. No breakfast was available though. I guess, it was due to the fact that we were the only guests there during off season. No help was offered to carry our heavy luggage to the 2nd floor (there are no lifts). But I am not really complaining due to the low price.

5 stars for value for money! The rooms are renovated now, very spacious and bright and clean. Housekeeping gives you 2 free water bottles everyday. Towels are great quality, there's only large size ones though, no medium size. It's far enough from the street to be quiet at night and at 699 Baht this is such a great deal. Reception is very friendly, cannot help with bus tickets or information on it but can book taxis for a certain time slot. Showerhead could be better and I would have preferred a simple kettle over the dispenser (doesn't really boil the water, switches between warm and boil on its own, water splatters around when it's nearing the bottom) but these are really minor things considering what you pay! For me personally, best location of town as well, close to daily night market and not far from Weeknd night markets and practically all sights. Ample parking space too and a lift.

Incredibly rude and aggressive parking attendant. I was simply looking to park and with no reason without even trying to find out what I was doing he came up shouting and screaming at me with physical threats. If this is an indication of the quality of staff and service at this hotel this venue is best avoided.

Immaculate hotel, new and clean. Rooms had plenty of power sockets and brand new effective air conditioning. No swimming pool. Free car park for guests. Normally expensive but last minute one night only deals can be had from 4pm-6pm onwards...it was nice to treat myself to a couple of nights. Room 322 shower (video) was much better than the bath combo in room 222.

Okay, so this hotel is pretty reasonable in terms of price ($60/night) BUT when our key broke in the door, we had to pay a fee which was a bit strange. I’d give this place a visit if you don’t care too much about money - it’s completely fine and the staff are super nice. It ain’t the ritz but it’s good enough if you’re going on boat tours. The trip from the airport is not terrible at about 400-500 baht - make sure you get a grab ordered about 20 mins before you need to leave. It can get a little bit dicey at around peak flight times!
