I hate leaving less than stellar reviews, but I was not impressed with the quality of food on the night we happened to stop in for dinner. We started with milkshakes which were great, especially the chocolate! We had ordered mozzarella sticks but a few minutes later, the employee came up and said they were out of stock and we could order something else. So we chose the crispy wings and then she said we needed to pay the cost difference. The wings were delicious, so I would recommend those as well. The double cheeseburger was great. The sweet potato fries also had good flavor but were a bit soggy. The Mac n Cheese and green beans were both OK, but nothing special. Also both were a bit salty. The Koch Soi was OK too, perhaps a bit lacking in flavor, but not bad. The breakfast sandwich was not good and poorly made - the cheese was not even on the sandwich fully. Lastly, we sprung for the Mushroom and Chicken pasta which was very saucy and too salted. If I was really hungry and this was the only place open, I would still eat here again, but wouldn’t go out of the way otherwise.

I’ve given every vegan place great reviews just because I want to support them, but this was so bad. When I opened my order and saw this, I just had to laugh. The hot dog was sooo dry and the bun was so hard it was like it was a month old. The bun wasn’t connected. I asked for some more mustard because it was so dry it was hard to eat and barely had any sauce on it. The person at the register said the mustard would be 30 baht. I showed him the hot dog I received and he said “sorry” and walked away. 89 baht and extra mustard would make it 119 baht. The sign on the wall was just ironic. I’m sure other things are good, but I just didn’t want to buy anything else overpriced at that point. I wanted to post this so you can have realistic expectations. Also, I went to the bathroom, and one of the staff members was on their hands and knees in the bathroom with the door unlocked, so I walked in on them. I was shocked and asked them if they were okay. They looked very awkward like I caught them doing something and ran out past me once as I was staring at them and didn’t even say anything. I hope they washed their hands somewhere because they didn’t wash them after lying on the bathroom floor. Very weird behavior from all of the staff, and it felt so awkward in the restaurant. Response: no one offered me a refund ever, and I never refused a refund. I would have taken a refund for sure. No one even talked to me. The person at the counter wanted me to pay 30 baht for the mustard. I don’t know what the owner is talking about.

Amazing food, even for a fast food standards and the workers are so kind. I ordered the hot dog and the Papaya salad which was way too spicy for me and the worker offer to replace it to one without the chilli that was amazing. I really enjoy the hot dog as well, come with fried onion and plenty of sauces. sometimes hard to believe all those options are vegan. *Edit: I tried the burger and the mac& cheese. burger is just like the MacDonald one for you vegan who's still crave the taste and the mac & cheese delicious, I like they put fresh tomatoes and onions inside

In Chiang Mai for a few days and after eating mostly local food, we found this place and decided to give it a try. Was amazing to see so many options for vegan junk food made with south eastern Asian ingredients. Away from all the hustle and bustle of the Chiang Mai locations but still some drama around in the neighbourhood which you could ignore. Limited seating arrangements but not bad. Too many food delivery guys were picking up orders which was a bit surprising. Tried the vegan hot dog with fries. Which was good. The hot dog had a nice texture to it and was soft and a bit chewy and perfectly cooked for our liking. The fries a little greasy but OK. Not seasoned as well, but we prefer that sometimes. Then we tried the Fish and Chips which we really took fancy too as it had Banana Flower Blossoms. No fishy flavour at all and hardly any flavour of seaweeds. More like Banana Flower fritters than fish. The dipping sauce which didn’t taste like tartar. Creamy smooth and yummy nevertheless. As we were leaving we saw a board for vegan milkshakes. Could have tried if hadn’t missed it. A bit pricey compared to Chiang Mai standards but must give it a try.

I’m more than ten years vegetarian, the sausage is the best one I ate ever. 🤤🤤🤤 the burger and submarine both are yummy!!

UPDATE: returned in February 2023 and lowered from 5-Star to 4-Star. The food is EXTREMELY too salty and greasy now. Almost inedible. The potato wedges needed to be scraped before eating to remove the layer of salt and even then were too salty. The Mac & Cheese was drowning in oil. About 1 inch (3cm) of grease was pooled at the bottom of the container. TOO SALTY AND TOO GREASY! NOT HEALTHY. Original post in 2022: Doesn't live up to the label "fast food", because it's not fast, nor cheap, but is definitely worth the wait! DELICIOUS. Mac & Cheese, BLT, Som Tam and Banana Shake were all fab. Large portions too. Mac & Cheese and Some Tam are enough for 2. Large menu of Thai and Western foods. Will be back again as so much more wanting to try. Went again and had Khao Soi. Very good...and big.

I ordered the pad thai, coconut chocolate thick shake and some hot chips. The thick shake was the best I’ve ever had! Definitely coming back when I fly back to Chiang Mai. Thank you, I love your store! Very nice staff too

I came to Munchies for the first on a trip to Chiangmai in January and upon returning this time I came straight back for my first meal! The food is delicious and priced well. It really scratches that itch for a burger and fries, so great to not have to look so hard for a great vegan burger! My wife had a Pad Thai this time as well and it was also quite good. I’m so glad to have found this place in Chiangmai, I hope they are doing well! The three times I’ve come it’s been a little quiet I hope it is around for years to come. Best of luck!

This exceeded my expectations so much!! I ordered a cheeseburger with potato wedges and siracha mayo. The total was 118 baht with a free bottle of water!! Not bad at all!! The taste of everything was amazing, esp the cheeseburger!! You wouldn’t believe it’s vegan! The young girl at the register was so nice and sweet too. She nicely helped me with getting the wifi password and packed the leftover food to go. Will def come back!

Very good burger, tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. The sweet potatoes are also super good ! Shout out to the staff who has been so nice and welcoming, they do a great job ! I’ll be back for sure and tell my friends about this place 🏆🏆

WOW! The food is just incredible. The quality and the taste is just amazing. All will enjoy this as you can’t even tell it’s vegan. You have to have the mozzarella sticks, burger and the chocolate shake is just mind blowing! Next I want to try the pasta and chicken drumsticks. So many options. Western and Thai. I’ve spoken to the owner and the food quality is made so this food can be eaten everyday. It’s not just fast food.

Amazing vegan food! The best I have ever had in my life. We had the crispy drumsticks and Mac and cheese. So delicious and insanely meat-like! Friendly staff and great service, recommend very much!

I’ve ordered from here many times. I also tried them for the first time at a vegan festival in Nimman. Truly delicious. Their bacon is so similar to the real thing, I really had to double check it was vegan! My favourite thing is the BLT. Their burgers are also great. Mac and cheese was alright. I can’t wait to try new things :)

I’ve been looking for a decent Vegan / Veggie burger in Chiang Mai for a while & happy to have found this place. I also had a banana milkshake which tasted lovely Setting I love the set up & colour combinations of the setting. It feels fresh, current & fun yet relaxing. Service I had the pleasure to meet the couple who work together & share the business. They were really inviting, friendly & had a good chat. I really agree & support their ethos with promoting & encouraging this alternative eating style / dietary preference. I was served food by one of the chefs (I think) who was really friendly Cleanliness Really clean. I look forward to eating here again or getting food to take away. AMAZING VEGAN FOOD that even non-vegans would enjoy!! We went back twice in the same day. Highly recommend the Mac’n’cheese and Big Bad Boo burger! So yummy! Great service and very fast! Cute and clean restaurant with great prices. Thank you!! Edit: we also LOVED the gyoza and breakfast burrito :)

The cheese burger was great! It’s a small McDonald’s style cheese burger - so good we had 1 each and shared another. We tried the Mac n Cheese too which was nice but not saucy enough for us. 5 stars for the burger though!

Closed. Already some pizza place when I last dropped by. But when it was still open early this year, there was nobody else eating there. I see why. While the place had become a proper restaurant, the food became ridiculously expensive. Frankly, I liked the old one better, when it was just like some roadside eatery.

Best vegan burger in town! The patty was packed with flavor. I'd get the big burger over the regular or double cheeseburger, though. The patty on the regular one is pretty thin. The potato wedges were killer, liked them more than the fries👍 The owner had an employee give us garlic aioli and truffle aioli on the house, too! :)

The breakfast wrap is really tasty (although not huge, and if didn’t seem to have any potatoes in it) and the wedges are made with proper potatoes. The burgers are ok, a bit like a McDonald’s burger if that’s your thing. A bit pricey but very decent food. The staff are lovely!

It’s okay… it’s a bit ironic because their “gluten free” chicken burger is still a chicken patty covered in gluten that’s put on gluten free bread. Their French fries were really good, and I would go back for that, but I wouldn’t recommend people to eat here if they are gluten free.

Overly salty vegan drumstick, potato wedges , small portions with high prices. Improvement needed in terms of taste and value for money. Cheer up!

I had a mango milkshake and a double cheese burger. Milkshake very nice. Burger not hot, Luke warm really tasted good. Also no atmosphere. No music on, or barely audible... Bonus...open 24hrs..

All vegan!! All delicious!! If you're looking for a Western-style fast-food fix, look no further. Professional set-up with friendly service, generous portions and great taste. We ate here 3 times during our 6-night stay nearby. A touch on the expensive side, but still worth it.

Amazing vegan food !!!! Soooo yummy - we had a feast - the hot dog in particular was amazing and they even do breakfast options!!! I really missed vegan fast food travelling but this hit the spot!!! The staff were also lovely!!

Munchies has been on my list for quite a while, tried a burger and a chocolate milkshake for my first visit there. Was quote disappointed by the burger, it tasted quite bland and pretty oily (I'm guessing from the vegan cheese). I saw the 100% Happiness Gaurentee signs so I told the staff about how I disliked the burger and immediately without any questions I got a refund! I LOVED the milkshake, super thick and creamy and yummmmyy! Super chocolatey and not very sweet, just how I like it!

I try cheese burger the frist time is very delicious and staff is very friendly. I like to come back again next time.

I gave them another chance to disappoint me and they did! Against my better judgement I ordered again and again the hot dogs came sloppily made. There is ketchup and mustard everywhere! My kids couldn’t even eat the buns. Another waste of money! I dont know who runs this kitchen and lets this food go out but quality control is not controlled. I will not order from here again.
