Fantastic customer service from arrival to departure. Best part was the wide variety of all day breakfast. It is cooked to order ala carte and no wastage unlike typical hotel buffets. Tastes really good. Convenient location in the Old City. Walking distance within 5min from the Sunday night market. Only gripe was the hotel room doors. It was very loud when any of your neighbors opened or closed their doors.

Amazing place to stay. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and will take care of you from the moment you arrive. Small but nice bedrooms, comfortable beds and very clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, I prefer cooked to order and the Shakshuka was super tasty. Next time I'm in Chiang Mai will book again. Highly recommend.

Had a very nice experience staying in this hotel. Check in was prompt and the staff was friendly and warm. The friendly lady owner was also very nice. We feel comfortable staying there and would recommend our friends to stay. Our room comes with breakfast and so we are able to select different breakfast choices everyday . The hotel cafe also open to public for the breakfast.

A very sweet little hotel with excellent staff. My room was small...the cheapest...but the aircon was cool and quiet and the breakfast was really fantastic ! A fantastic location, walk to anywhere, and the perfect place to make your base in the old town.

Elliebum is a beautiful boutique hotel. The breakfast is great with the best soymilk capucchino in the world. They are super kind, friendly, helpful and provide an excellent service. The hotel is perfectly located in Old Town. Definitely recommended!

Wish we stayed here! Our accommodation didnā€™t do breakfast so we came here several times for drinks and breakfast. Good sized menu. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are lovely. Couldnā€™t recommend more!

The staff and management of this hotel are fantastic. They go all out to help you and make you feel at home, and the level of service received was higher than most other places we went. Itā€™s a tiny boutique hotel in an older skeleton of a building that they have done a good job of renovating, but there are some details like the loud, old wooden doors that havenā€™t been updated The hotel is beautifully decorated and they serve a good breakfast that is better than most other hotels. Would recommend for those on a budget looking for a friendly and welcoming place, but who arenā€™t especially sensitive to noise (sometimes you can hear your neighbors coming and going).

Elliebum was the first hotel my wife and I stayed during our vacation throughout Southeast Asia. After completing the trip, I can genuinely say that this was our favorite hotel we have ever stayed. Elliebum Hotel gave us the warmest welcome upon arrival, with a wonderful fresh juice and some local, high quality snacks. Our room was so quaint and clean, and the decor was perfect for the region. With the extensive list of (free!!) breakfast options to enjoy every morning, this hotel feels more like the perfect bed and breakfast. The cherry on top is the perfect location! There is nowhere within the old city walls that you couldnā€™t walk to within 15 minutes. It was well worth the price.

Wow, wow, wow! What a gorgeous, family run boutique hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. All of the staff were amazing and couldnā€™t do enough to help us. Without doubt, they served the best hotel breakfast and coffee that we experienced in 1 month in Thailand - we are massive food and coffee snobs too! Super clean, super comfy, I donā€™t have a bad word to say about Elliebum. Itā€™s worth reiterating how great the staff were at Elliebum. From informing us about minor inconveniences (roadworks nearby) to spending their time to advise and help us plan perfect days out. The staff werenā€™t at all pushy towards the excursions, they just genuinely wanted to make our days as good as they could be. We visited so many places from their reccomendions and had a great time. Thank you Elliebum, see you again, Louis and Beth x

So this is a small boutique hotel with clean rooms and very good location. Shirley, Gade and rest of the staff are very polite and helpful and gave us good suggestions for places to see and eat.... Would definitely recommend it.... No buffet but the breakfast menu is quite good even though limited... Would definitely suggest you try their cocktails

Perfect place to stay while my husband and I visited Chiang Mai. The staff were amazingly thoughtful and on top of things. Breakfast was a surprise hit for us. Each dish was delicious and beautiful. It had a quality to the taste and presentation without being pretentious. Good portions too. Will stay again when we go back. Oh, and the cocktails were some of the best we had. Don't skip those

Gade's food market tour has been a major highlight of our holiday in Thailand. This tour included not just a detailed presentation of northern Thai cuisine, but also a broad and super interesting introduction to the history of Chiang Mai, Thai culture, and society. Besides being exceptionally knowledgeable, Gade is genuinely interesting, likable, and joyful, guaranteed to entertain with great stories. The landmarks, restaurants, and market stalls she selected gave us the chance to try loads of foods and learn how to eat them, which we would have definitely missed during our stay. We loved the tour so much that we later went back to her hotel for a great happy hour with even more delicious food and very creative cocktails. We strongly recommend everyone visiting Chiang Mai to take this tour. Inquire directly at Elliebum Boutique Hotel.

A beautiful little hotel with a nice and friendly staff. Who can speak English and Thai. The breakfast was tasty as it wasn't a buffet but a made to order option. The location is in the middle of the city making it walking or biking distance to both sides of the city. The rooms were quite and unique as they are "vintage" with cute brass showers and nice wooden options. Overall it is beautiful, friendly, and comfy. What else does one need?

Fantastic customer service for a humble hotel, from arrival to departure. Very good location in the Old City. Less than 5min walk to the Sunday night market. Felt safe in area. Hotel has a cute little garden. Best part was the all-day breakfast.

We had the best stay at Elliebum and canā€™t recommend enough! We were staying with our 6month-old and hadnā€™t checked if theyā€™d have an elevator (they donā€™t) - which was our own fault. However, they only have rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and we got a room on the 3rd which wasnā€™t ideal with baby, stroller and such. The staff was however really helpful and moved us down after two nights, when it was possible (we were staying for six nights). We also got to have our stroller in the lobby, and for every meal we had at the hotel, the staff was so helpful to bring whatever we asked for for our daughter and they were all SO sweet around her. Also the owner, Gade, was exceptionally helpful and came with really good suggestions for things to see and activities to do. Overall just such a good atmosphere, excellent staff and a fantastic location!

A very nice boutique hotel that's close to the shops and main road. The staff were attentive and always welcoming to give local advice. Speaking both English and Thai for all your needs. Rooms were serviced everyday with new water and towels. Pre booked Breakfast and coffee with our booking with a wide range of selection to choose. This was great for our early tour pickups. Happy hour from 6-8pm. Rooms were spacious with a vintage feel.

We did not stay in this hotel but came across it because they served wonderful foods and drinks. We left our hotel almost daily to eat here. The staff was very friendly and the food and drink presentations were spectacular. We will stay here for sure on our next trip.

We absolutely loved our time at Elliebum. The location is perfect for anyone looking to be within walking distance of the Old Town. The owner, Gade, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us all sorts of recommendations for where to go and what to see. There were even some interesting history lessons about Chiang Mai thrown in for good measure. As for the hotel itself, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. To top it all off, the food and smoothies were great. One of the highlights was playing board games while having breakfast and coffee in the open restaurant/cafe area downstairs with Chiang Mai street noise in the background. We would not hesitate to stay at Elliebum again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Great atmosphere, fresh and spotless. They have option to stay in air conditioner or outside with the umbrellas. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. They also serve great coffee and amazing deserts. If you are anywhere in Chiangmai, this place is a must go to. Highly recommended

We stayed in one of their deluxe rooms. Loved the mattress in particular as itā€™s very nice and comfortable. Perfect for my back. Nice furniture and fittings. However, the roomā€™s quite small. I also saw one of their standard rooms and itā€™s a bit small for us and I didnā€™t like its bathroom as thereā€™s no partition for dry and wet areas. Thai rice soup for breakfast was delicious.

Love this boutique hotel. Superb location easy to stroll around the old part of the city. The hotel is surrounded by many old Buddhist temples. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet atmosphere. Bed is so comfy. Classy decor. Highly recommended.

I sent my mom to Elliebum on a 2+ week vacation. She says the space is run by a friendly owner and everyone else was super smiley. Room was super clean and breakfast was delicious.
