Superb Sports Bar with HUGE beer selection...including cans bottles and fresh (draft) on tap. Have tried 6 of the craft draft beers and all are quite good. The Russian Red Wine Dark (9.3% and aged in Cabernet barrels) is pricey but worth it! Excellent food with some veg/vegan options. Lovely wait staff/bartenders. 3 professional pool tables and numerous Big screen TVs. Great spot for great time.

We stumbled into this place for lunch with a hungry crew not knowing what to expect. The kids loved it! The grownups loved it! Everyone found exactly what they were in the mood for. The food came out quickly but was definitely freshly made. Extensive beer selection including unique ciders for the GF person in our group. The ice cream was a little expensive but a nice treat at the end of an already delicious meal. It was a good sign when everyone was already planning what they were going to order on our next trip there halfway through the meal. It was also nicely shaded with a cool breeze, a welcome break from the hot sun.

I went to RENEGADE yesterday around 6PM with a good friend for the 2nd time to unwind after a walking tour which concluded nearby. We asked for a sample, but I already strongly noticed how UNWELCOMING, UNINVITING, RUDE her aura was. The same aura I noticed the 1st time I was there 2 nights before. The way she slammed the shot glasses on the table with the sample drinks we requested was already noticeable, her facial aura was just unfriendly. First of all, you don’t profile your customers based on how you feel on that day or how they look. Secondly, I’m a paying customer and the least you can do is act nice. I have worked in the customer service service industry for a long time and I have firsthand experiences dealing with different kinds of customer and that’s just not how you treat them. Thirdly, you are a SERVER, do what you’re being paid for, to SERVE your customers properly. I asked for your name not because I physically or personally like you, I DON’T & you will never be my type. You look like a stressed, bothered, unloved human being. I asked for your name because I wanna make sure I am able to document this. I love the beer selection but customer service experience is more important to me. I will not put up with an attitude like that. Shape up or find another job, you are not fit to work there. I want to thank Mark for being hospitable and welcoming. I hope you will have more employees like him. And please train your DIVA employees like LEK with CUSTOMER SERVICE 101, it’s very basic. I had a beef burger and chips here whilst my partner enjoyed a Thai dish. Both dishes were delicious here and perfectly cook. I just loved the food here. The menu is huge here with both western and Thai dishes and also a large range of beers and craft beers. After 5pm there is also a sports bar which opens at the back of this cafe where they serve a wide range of drinks and where you can play pool and also watch some sports. After a hot day in the Chiang Mai sun looking at elephants, I’m sitting in an air-conditioned heaven drinking craft beer. I’ve been in Thailand for 2 weeks and this is by FAR the best selection I’ve found in the country. It’s got beers from Saigon, New Zealand, Budapest, New York, Portland and many more. A must visit if you are craving a break from the Chang/Leo/Tiger/Singha you’ve been drinking so far on holiday/vacation.

I went to Renegade because I heard that they have the best beer in Chiang Mai. What I never realized until a year later, was that their food is also top notch. A lot of people claim to have the best burger here in Chiang Mai, but Renegade is absolutely among the best. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. I like my burger a little under medium and I consistently get it that way, even though I don’t ever expect it. I’ve even ordered burgers to go and they show up wonderfully. Burgers no your thing? Well you will NOT be disappointed by their pizza! It’s fantastic! Crispy crust, great sauce and cheese. I like to support our local businesses especially the ones who are doing everything they can to make it. Yesterday they put out sandwiches that look amazing! I can’t wait to try it. The food and beer here is always spot on. But lately the vibe feels awkward and strange. Maybe the complete staff change has something to do with it. It doesn't feel that welcoming anymore. Easily the best selection in Thailand! I arrived early it was quiet but the friendly waiting staff has offered me to sample the newest Thai beer whats happened to be brewed in Belgium. Fantastic! I can only recommend this place if you are a beer lover a must to visit!

WOW! Now I have new favourite beers: from Poland! Never had a Polish brew until last night when I have tasted a New England Style Double IPA fresh from the tap here and it did blow my mind, indeed! The staff at this bar are awesome and they have excellent recommendations also you can try the taps before you buy a glass of beer. I love this place! My plan is to keep going back every night during my holiday and try a different (Polish) beer each time. Cheers!

A great surprise near Thapae Gate. I hadn't been over to this part of town in a while. What a surprise to go into the 'Renegade Craft Beer & Billiards Sports Bar' near Thapae Gate. A really friendly welcome in by one of the ladies there, and Ben who I think was in charge that evening. A really well done out bar with good decor, excellent choice of drinks and an interesting menu. Lovely efficient AC. I was only here for drinks but will return and try the food. Very clean, and signs of efficiency everywhere. Very impressive. Sure it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
