Absolutely fantastic place! Clean, modern, comfortable and a big big TV in every room. I stayed here for over two months. The hosts are a lovely Thai family that go above and beyond to make sure all their guests have a good stay. Can’t complain will be back later. Felt like a home away from home.

Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The food, especially breakfast, is reason enough to pick it especially if you’re looking for a place outside the old city, but the lovely staff and comfort of the bed made it even better. The bathroom and room were great too. Would definitely stay here again in the future :)

Wonderful Guest House. The whole place has a nice ambience. The staff there are amazing. Had a wide variety of breakfast options everyday and fresh coffee. A lot of their food is grown themselves in an organic farm. The rooms were nice and well kept. However do note that the hotel is a bit far from town. But it is only a 10 minute ride to most places.

This is one of the unique stays that I have visited in Thailand. The entire house is made of teak wood. There are around 10 rooms. The place is amazing. The old lady and her son maintain the place, they are really friendly. The food they serve in their place is grown in their organic farm.

The room we stayed at were old, around 35 years old, but well maintained. Some notes for improvement: 1) kindly include cleaning of the jacuzzi each time.... the bubbles accumulate some dirt and I kept on noticing they were just pilling up every day we used the jacuzzi. 2) the sauna should be cleaned or dusted as well. I saw 2 dead insects on the floor on the first day and they were there the whole week. 3) please put labels on your bottles.... those 2 mini bottles with white and oily stuff on it were confusing.... we don't know and don't want to use them because it was not clear if they're lotion or body oil or what.

Wonderful stay at the Ruen Come In. Convient location close to the old city, food, and shopping. Comfortable rooms in a beautiful property with lots of greenery and outdoor spaces. The owners are very nice and helpful. They will assist with coordinating excursions. We were fortunate to stay during the lantern festival and the hotel helped coordinate transport to a wonderful local festival outside the city.

The location is really good! Alot of nice places to stop by and visit! The receptionist ans staff are very friendly. Breakfast served in the morning. There is alot of mosquitos though. Like ALOT. We asked the staff for the mosquito burning incense and we used repellant but they are still around and annoying.

Beautiful Thai style here, peace and tranquillity close to town. Lovely pool, delicious breakfast and big, comfy bed. Amazing experience visiting their working farm, collecting fresh eggs to cook at a local Onsen was very special. We'll be back again for sure.

I booked this place based on good review, great ambiance, and organic food. But, my children wanted a hotel with a large pool. After calling to hotel, the owner kindly cancelled my reservation for free though it was non refundable condition. I truly appreciate his understanding and generosity. I am a frequent visitor to Chiang Mai and try this place next time if not accompanied by my children.

The room was fantastic. Breakfast very average, best to eat somewhere else if you are after Thai traditional food.

Loved this place. Timber rooms/buildings are a very nice change. Staff were brilliant and helpful. The included breakfast was very yum. I would stay there again.

Great place. Lovely accommodation and friendly helpful staff. It's located a bit outside of the lively city center so rent a scooter for 200 baht and you're good to go!

Our first hotel in Chiang Mai. We landed at 6am and the staff at Ruen had our room ready for us to have a nap. I liked the breakfast where i could chose an option. It was made fresh for me every morning. They agreed to prepare us breakfast earlier for us to go on a trek with a full stomach. The room was big and clean. You need a 20-30mn taxi ride to the old Town.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious and supplied by their own organic farm. I stayed for 4 days and should have stayed longer. Yoga and massages of a very high standard. Highlights were a visit to the organic farm, followed by a trip to a local market to buy freshly pressed coconut milk and cream and then an al fresco cookery lesson by the pool. Plans to expand (bigger pool and more accommodation) will be a marvellous addition.. Authentic feel. Highly recommended.

Pros: - The Ruen Come In hotel has a nice wooden architecture and a picturesque garden. - The breakfast, although not a full buffet, is really good! The room is comfy and large. - We were able to check-in early in the Morning as our flight landed at 6:30am and it was much appreciated. - The little cats at the reception are adorable. - Cons: - The hotel is quite far from Chiang Mai's attraction and if you're not using a Taxi app (like Grab), you won't see much taxis passing by the hotel and you'll need to walk a bit to the main road. - While having all the amenities you'd be expecting for a hotel in Thailand, some details were missing in the decoration, staff's attention and service to make it a 4* experience.
