(November 2023) This was the first cabaret show I’ve ever been to, so I can’t really compare it with anything but it was pretty fun. I have to admit, I felt a bit left out during the show as someone who is not a (straight white) male though haha 😅 We bought our tickets at 7:30 p.m. and at that time, the closest tables to the stage had already been booked but we still got a great spot. The show starts roughly at 9:30 p.m. and it gets pretty loud (and wild). The regular ticket costs 390 THB per pax (incl. one soft drink). If you want to drink alcohol, wait until the happy hour (~ 10:15 p.m.). I think there were paid toilets for 5 THB or so. Tips are expected if you want to take photos with the performers. We parked our scooter on the other side of the fence near the backyard. Off-topic: I highly recommend getting a massage at the night market while you wait for the show 😅

What a show! This is one of the few ladyboy shows left that are still reasonably priced, funny, and with good production and an amateurish charm. The lip syncs are perfect, costumes shiny, actresses pretty, waitresses sassy, drinks strong, and acts lively. If you are on the fence this is a PG13 production, one (likely white) guy will get picked to go up either from the front row or the bar during the Rhiana act, his shirt taken off and him danced around, but nothing too raunchy by western standards. There are also spontaneous boob action during some dances when the actress walks the floor to the audience. Avoid front seats if you are shy. Price did go up a bit but better than anything you'd find in Bangkok, 350 baht to get in, 100 baht to reserve a table (recommended If you want a center seat), and come with plenty of 20 baht bills for tips (waitress will stick her cleavage out until you throw in a bill or two, just roll with it). Have coins with you because the nearest bathroom is 3 baht to get in, there is a maintenance lady with change but not for larger bills. Arrive around 8 to 8:30 to buy your tickets and optionally choose a table, do a little shopping or browsing while you wait or get a beer at color bar, then come back at 9:15 to 9:30 (show start), trade your ticket for a beer. About 3 drinks is a good pace for the show including the beer. 150 baht cocktails (cheaper than nearby color bar) and I think 70 for beer. Have more tips ready if you want to take pictures with the cast afterwards. Smile, be merry, and enjoy the production.

Such a fun spot to see a ladyboy show! I recommend messaging them in advance to reserve a table closer to the stage. You can pay there, and your ticket includes a drink. The performers walk through the market before the show too so you can’t miss them. I loved how it was in the night market so you can eat beforehand. The show was SO fun! Very high production value with lots of well choreographed numbers. The energy was high and made the show very entertaining. Highly recommend when in Chiang Mai!

Super fun experience. The place is feature in the iconic episode of Anthony Bourdain in Chiang Mai. The performers are awesome, talented dancers and lip sinkers. They do a great job to get the audience clapping, dancing and enjoying themselves. The entrance fee is super reasonable and includes a drink. Guaranteed you will have a great time.

Great show at a small venue that you cannot miss in Chiang Mai. Ladies will entertain you for about an hour, show they're dancing skills and will engage with the public. I'd like to specifically highlight the electrifying Halloween performance for Poison song! It was absolutely mind blowing, the performer is such a great dancer with a huge charisma and I would come back just to see them perform again! ❤️ Wish you all the best!

Fun show for a night out in Chiang Mai, about $10 usd per ticket which included a drink. No need to reserve much earlier than 8pm, people were buying tickets right before. Be prepared, if you are a male, to possibly get touched or brought up on stage (which was the funniest part of the show). We wished they performed more pop/current songs! Some peoples reviews note that the request for tops bothered them, this was not bothersome at all. There was one round of tip collection at the end of the show and no pressure at all whatsoever.

I went last night with my boyfriend and omg - it was amazing we loved it! An amazing show, really funny too. There was a good crowd too, i recommend you come a little before it starts and reserve a table near the front. Im a fashion student and the detail in the costumes/hair/makeup was incredible. Very well organised, great characters/songs and standard drink prices - I was worried they would be expensive but it was actually same as normal. The entry price (329baht each i think it was) is great for the quality of the show. Also the ticket gets you one free drink. 100% would recommend you see this show while in Chiang Mai, definitely the highlight of my time here.

So much fun! My fiancé and I went and we were smiling the whole time. Such amazing performers who involve the crowd as you can see from the pics. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

This was my first cabaret show and I was surprised at how good and entertaining it's was. If ever you get a chance to see one check it out. It cost 350baht and your ticket comes with a free drink.

Great fun evening! Cabaret was super fun we went there to celebrate our friends birthday and general manager Lilly made sure we had excellent time! If you want a nicer table give them a call before you go. You can buy tickets at the door it s 350 baht per person

Pretty good cabaret show, right in the heart of the night bazaar. The makeshift stage area feels rather amateurish, and the show is clearly targeted towards straight tourists wandering the markets. We also saw the show at RAM Show Bar, and we felt RAM was a little better than CMM. The performers at CMM just didn't have as much energy, and the atmosphere is lacking compared to RAM. Certainly not a bad show, but considering it has a 350 baht entry fee (with one free beer/juice), I would recommend you go to RAM instead.

'Chiang Mai Cabaret Show' is located in Anusarn Market, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. The glamour show with music and dancing from the ladyboys and male dressing fleshy outfits and big feather on the head If you're looking for something entertaining, the cabaret show can be one of your best options. The show is totally safe and enjoyable, we had a great time there! All the entertainers put A LOT of effort into this and their body shape was just.. wow! Things to note : • Entrance Fee included one soft drink • Happy hour will be on the middle of the show, prepare to stock your drinks! • Be early, so you can pick the best spot • Photo and video were allowed • Tips were expected • Booking in advance was highly recommended (Entrance Fee 350THB, Open Daily 19.00 - 23.30)

A funny, entertaining show with a variety of songs and performers. Some of the acts looked like they were really enjoying it and lots of audience participation (you've been warned!). 350baht per person including first drink. Some reviews say suitable for families/children. Im no prude but I wouldn't recommend this for children! Other reviews moan about the requests for tips. Yes they ask but it's not demanding or persistent and didn't ruin the show.

Met up with friends and they were going and asked us. We wouldn’t have gone otherwise. It was VERY loud but entertaining. They could certainly tighten up their dance moves and lip syncing considering this is all they do. Not sure I would recommend it .... some people really had a good time if it’s your thing. I’ve seen better shows in SAN Fran to be honest. The 500 baht which included a drink was too high for the performance we got

Great performance by the ladies; even if the lip synching was not on point they made up for it with their dancing and charm. Buy tickets early as the place tends to fill up and also make sure to try to get a seat in the front for better viewing.

My 11 year old daughter and I had so much fun here tonight. Singing along and loving the costumes and dance. Fun! There was just about a minute when I covered her eyes (part of the part where they bring a guy up on stage). But I knew that might be a trade-off for the overall fun of it. And was totally worth it. About tips... wish we'd waited to give it to dancers directly (we put it in the tip box which came out first).

This show was extremely entertaining and the women are fun to watch. They definitely put their we’ll into this show. Only thing I’d change was they lip sync the songs which we didn’t expect. Would have rated 5 stars if the performers were actually singing for real.

Good entertainment with funny audience participation. Buy your tickets early (8 pm) to get a front seat for the 9:30 - 10:45 pm show. Drink included with ticket. Tips expected by performers if you want to take pictures with them. So beware.

My friends and I had a great time at this show! The venue is located within the Anusarn Market. The show started at 9:30, so would suggest going early to buy your tickets and grab a table - they'll throw a reserve sign on it for you so you can leave and explore the market before returning. The show is fairly interactive as they move through the audience and bring people up on stage. Decent amount of drink options available at the bar! Very fun time overall.

Our family had an incredible time at the Cabaret show! From start to finish, the performance was an absolute blast, with a perfect balance of humor and skillful coordination. One of the highlights was when my husband was even invited to join the performers on stage, adding a personalized and unforgettable touch to the evening. The show was expertly put together, showcasing a seamless blend of entertainment that left us all thoroughly entertained. I enthusiastically recommend this show to everyone. And don't forget to bring along some small bills for tips – it truly enhances the overall experience.

I wasn’t overly thrilled with this cabaret show. While it had a variety of performances, it’s not really a worthwhile experience. The shows states it runs 1hr, but the performances ran about 40mins and the rest was lights, drinks, and and interlude. There were a few performances that were really fun and outgoing, but for the most part the dancers didn’t seem like there were really having a good time. The entrance ticket came with a drink (beer or soda) and cocktails or other beers were an additional fee. All the waitstaff also expected us to tip, even though tipping isn’t common in Thailand.

So funny! I had a great evening here! You pay 290Baht for entrance and one drink. Drinks are a bit expensive. Even during "Happy Hour" the Chang beer is 100 Baht.

Lady boy cabaret shows are not my area of expertise but as my wife wanted to go, go we did. The singing was mimed, the dancing was enthusiastic, the audience participation was funny (if you weren't involved) and the drinks weren't majorly overpriced.

It’s missing a story? After three songs just got boring. I really wanted to love it… I don’t know it’s missing something. I went to a zombie cabaret show in Las Vegas and felt it was more interesting as cheesy as zombie dancing is… so maybe it’s missing a theme? A story? Romance? Action? Emotions?

  • 5/5 Bunny N. 1 year ago on Google
Hilarious!! Costumes, showmanship, jokes, sound system, and production value were excellent. It’s raunchy and sexy but not explicit or hardcore. Loved every second of this!! I recommend buying your ticket an hour ahead of time at the desk and reserving a seat (they walk you in, let you pick a table, and give you a number) since it was pretty crowded for a mid-week show. Make sure you tip well at the end, this is their livelihood and they put on an great show!!

Really fun experience. I agree with the other posters about the aggressive and repeated requests for tips at many points throughout the night, which detracted from the overall experience. Cash only.

I thought it was a great experience. Thailand, to the global perspective at least, has always been very accepting of ladyboys/transgenders/gender fluid (?) folks, so I came here purely out of curiosity and interest to learn more about this subculture. I came alone, but for some reason, I was the only Asian living in Asia (there were a few from the UK [I know because I overheard/they were interviewed]), I just found that funny. Anyways, great show. Small, intimate cabaret. The acts were actually really good, there were a few ones which were obviously fresh, since they were parodies (?) of more recent celebrities/songs. The conventional acts were also classy, replicating what you'd see at an actual Parisian cabaret show (I was at one just a couple of months before being to this one), and Brazilian carnival vibes (not sure). All I can say is, the prices were great, the shows were great, it was funny yet not uncouth. Some families actually brought their teenagers, and they seemed like it was a good time, so yeah, come and visit, the staff were really friendly and hardworking.

Me and my girlfriend went yesterday. We were expecting a cabaret show. We were also told that we should really visit one of these shows. We can now tell that this show really dissapointed us. It is not a cabaret show but a playback show. Basically what you see is ladyboys trying to be a lady in some glitter outfits. The first 2 songs were oke, but after that i expected some cabaret. Did not happen. If you want cabaret, go to another show!

Didn’t like it, Maybe just not my cup of tea, The show finished at 11 while on google maps it says 11:30 pm. The voice over is very mediocre but some of the ladyboys were stunning and their interaction with the crowd is unbelievable (in a positive way).

Entertaining show well worth the price. Other reviewers complain about a few things: No, they don't sing live, it's lip-syncing like all other ladyboy/drag/cabaret shows. It's a tin shed in a market and you are paying THB350 for a show including a drink so no it's not the Moulin Rouge, but it's still very entertaining with beautiful costumes and beautiful girls. Tips. Yes, they ask for tips when bringing your drink and after the show but they are not pushy about it and it's still up to you if or how much you tip, and yes of course if you want to take a picture with them after the show they would also like a tip. So manage your expectations and it's a great experience.

This performers did a good job on the stage. Only that this is a tourist trap. You pay 350 baht for the tickets ( what a scam) with a beer included ( a small chang cost normally 80baht) . The show last only one hour and 15 min... and in the first part of it the waitress is pushing/forcing/ you to drink faster and buy more drinks. After there's is a show where you are slightly obliged to give tips. At the end of the second part of the show they again show the "tip box" and rub it on to your face untill they give up or you are fool enough to give more tips . After they leave the club and they wait for you. They offer you to have a photo even if the only thing you want to do is leave... You take it and the surround you asking you for MORE TIPS... Sorry ladies you are not UK drag race queens.... And I Tip if I f**** want!!!

Very loud, bring ear plugs. 350 baht entry for normal seating but drink tipping (+20-100) is implied/compulsory. Show Pub for the Western crowd, but very surprised at the aggressive tip collection from the coyote dancers (stopped one sequence until crowd tipped). Would expect that at the Chinese oriented cabarets. Otherwise, every other review listed as of 2019-2020 is accurate. Go in with either an open mind or get inebriated.

Nice show, but nothing special. It's an hour of watching a playback show along with some moves and costumes. Some of them didn't even know the lyrics, which actually made it a but of hilarious. Only one act was hilarious and interactive with the crowd (big spender). Wouldn't go there for a second time. Might as well go to the gay scene and watch some lady boys and their show for free, lots better and just around the corner of this one.

Went this year for the second time. The show is loud, trashy and glittery, so perfect for a night out. Glad to see that they have the same performers as 2019 there. I loved it this time as well! Entrance is 350bath including a drink, but as soon as they bring your drink you are expected to tip another 100bath, same anytime you buy something else (expected to tip) Performance were ok. Some were great and very entertaining, others it felt like they didn't have any energy. Don't expect a fancy place or real singing (they lipsync, but if you are a fluent English speaker you will notice is not really sync, so don't mind that). Overall fun if you are in the front rows and don't mind feeling pressured for tips all the time. Starts at 9:30pm and finishes at 10:30pm. We got there 10min before and had no issues getting a table, but we were sitting at the back
