Lovely peaceful park to rest and walk!! A place to chill!! Even thought it’s quite small, I enjoy walking there a lot. I thought it’s going to be hot in the afternoon but actually its not bad. The fountains and ponds keep the park cool all day long. There are many activities you can do such as feeding the fish ( buy the fish food only 10baht from the guy with ice cream trolley), just relaxing and laying down 🤣, walking, running, doing aerobic with the group in the evening, etc. Btw it’s crowded in the evening tho. If you prefer some quiet and peaceful time, come in the morning -noon.

Lovely place to clear your mind, quiet, waterfountains and gym equipment. Many people exercise around the park and they have clean toilets free to use. Found this place accidentally when scooter ran out of fuel and think it deserves more attention.

A very nice park for people to relax and work out. There’s a small “gym” inside the park with some weights for people to use. Also, there’s a free yoga class every morning at 9am. For those who don’t have a yoga mat they can rent a rattan one from the guy who sells water at the entrance of the park for 15 baht. Please search “Yoga in the park - Chiang Mai” for details on the exact location of the class and weekly class schedule. A big shout-out to those who organize the classes. Really appreciate your effort 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

An all day park no matter what the weather! Brilliant for exercise, yoga or just sitting and enjoying life. There are places to buy drinks or a snack and buy fish food for the koi in the lake. Best of all is the massage hut...I come every week, it's 160 baht for an hour...bargain! Ask for Ann ..she is amazing!

Great playground for our kids in the southwest corner of this park. Also just a good park for a stroll or as part of a run. Only entrance that we found was mid way across on the south side. This is also a location for a weekly Park Run 5k at 8:00 (or 8:30) every Saturday.

Very cool park with yoga every morning. Lots of activities around this medium size park. The gym section needs some 'safety' and hazard warning. Nice park to relax and exercise. Can be quite busy during the weekend.

Beautifull park full of flowers, especially if you visit at the beginning of February there is flower festival. Benches to sit, kids playground they do sell drinks inside and very nice view just to sit and relax

Wonderful opportunity to join the international Yoga community here. Beautiful people with different backgrounds willing to discover the journey between different styles of Yoga. I had the opportunity to teach there twice - and absolutely love this experience. Classes are free of charge Everyday 9 am Enjoy this lovely initiative!

Such a lovely little park. To take stroll or sit and watch the world go by. Plenty of places to buy a cold drink and public toilets available. Nice and quiet during the day becoming busier when schools finish and leave work for the day.

This a sweet little park! Beautifully kept and maintained. We went in the morning, and it was not crowded at all. There are bathrooms, and it has a distance marked path so you can track the distance of your runs. They have Jerry rigged workout equipment and a bunch of mechanical workout machines scattered throughout. We saw several yoga classes going on here, so I assume there’s a way to sign up for these if you wish! Recommend visiting for a nice walk in Changmai!

Lovely park where people of all ages come to take a walk, play some sports, do some dance workouts or just sit and relax. It also has small shops that sell snacks and drinks. There's a kids play area as well. I visited way back in 2019 and spent quality time there.

02-02-24 We stayed at a place on Tha Phae Road, a perfect place to watch Chiang Mai Festival Parade. The processions ended up at this park, for a 3 to 4 days celebration (not sure because we have tour to explore). If you are planning to attend, make sure to check with the locals. Enjoy!

It is a small park that is enough for young kids to enjoy the playground and the parents can sit aside under the shades to relax and do a little chitchat. There is a small outdoor basketball court where you can probably skate too, a shop vendor selling water and snack, a simple massage shop, and a cafe. The park is clean, and please follow the sign that do not feed pigeons here. It is always a surprise to see a rainbow.

Nong Buak Haad Public Park, where I stayed at a nearby hotel and took a walk every morning, was the most peaceful place in Chiang Mai Old Town. The free yoga classes brought a sense of calm and healing to everyone who attended or walked by.

Well maintained and pretty park with fountains, kids play areas and outdoor gym. Nice to duck into to get out of the heat and bustle of the city. Seems to be the only real public park in central Chiang Mai.

We visited the park at the time of the flower festival. BEAUTIFUL, it gives pleasure to walk through the thousands of flowers, throughout the park there are fans that spray water that refreshes. free public toilets. exercise area and children's play area! My daughter really enjoyed this area, there were children from different cultures playing. It also has a viewpoint. There are some places with shadow to rest and make picnic.

We have been to this park many times over the years, however during the Pandemic it is not the same sadly. Very quiet and the cool vibe which comes from all the people is no longer there. However it’s still a very peaceful place to go and walk and feed the fish. Can’t wait for this park to get back to how it used to be. It’s so good to see how well it is being kept up. So clean and well taken care of.

Gorgeous, well-maintained park with walking paths, picnic tables and covered pavilions, areas for kids to play, and toilets. Parking is on the street and can be scarce when busy. I just couldn't give it five stars though, because they don't allow dogs in the park. We were chased out when we tried to bring ours, even though I always pick up after them. The gentleman was actually very polite about it though.

Beautiful and well planned landscapes, love the ponds with large Kois, and the tracks for jogging. The ambiance is really chill early in the morning, with one side of the park filled with groups training Takraw and basketball, and another side with joggers doing their runs. Had a good time here, love the morning crowd too☺️

Came for the annual Flower Festival at the beginning of February 2024, it was magnificent. The park was full of flowers, orchids, roses, zinnias, inpatians, gerbera daisies, sunflowers, begonias, and many many more, Kew Gardens would be proud (maybe even jealous!)

Just went to here to see the beautiful floats for the 2024 Chiang Mai Floral Parade Festival. There were a lot of stuff to and and to eat. The parks is totally filled with colorful flowers and mist. Kids or families would totally to enjoy coming here. There were a lot of food stalls, that I cannot even start describing as there were a ton of food options. There were a lot of stalls with good souvenirs and plants and flowers are everywhere. Also, there were a lot of arrangements around the park. It was just so nice even though it was hot.

One of the nicest parks I’ve ever been to. The vibes are immaculate. Everyone is just doing their own thing whether it’s yoga, running, meditating, working out, reading , etc. I love it. Just be wary of mosquitos when the sun goes down… It’s also kept in pristine condition

Small park in between the old town and airport. Well maintained and clean . No Dogs allowed sign. Great for little kids. There is a playground , a lot of pigeons to be fed, and a few cute bunny figurines to take a picture with. There's a cafe in the middle and also a mobile finger food vendor outside. Limited parking if you plan to drive here.

This park is one of the beautiful parks inside Chiang Mai, very convenient. Good for family and friends bonding like picnic and play with your kiddos, date with your loved ones. Good for walking a couple of exercise machines like a pull-up bar, eleptical trainers, and weights. Recommended to visit. 👍

Great place to spend some time. If you have children its very relaxing to bring them to the playground. Then buy a 10 baht bag of fish food and feed the fish there are so many. Don't feed the pigeons 555.

Beautiful park, but a LOT of runners. I'm not local so I'll leave it to the locals to decide how to use the park. It's nice to see people outside exercising and enjoying the beauty. But it's tough to enjoy the walking trails without people constantly running around or into you. Cafe was closed when we visited (covid?), But there were a few snack stands open.

It's a good park for a training session. Some of the outdoor training equipment was removed, and some facilities are a bit old, but there is still a good amount of working ones around the park. Most of the training facilities are along the outer path that leads around the park. In the evening there sometimes are bigger dancing groups with loud music and it can be a bit crowded when training. But I think that's authentic 😊

This is a nice park in the old city. Here you can go for a walk (there is a proper walking path with various exercising stations including a weightlifting corner), do some yoga or just sit and relax. Ideal place to go for an early morning walk when the air is still fresh. The park is well maintained and there are service personnel who are also keeping the place secure. In the early morning hours, you can see people participating in activities such as Tai Chi, walking/jogging, Yoga and Kick Volleyball (Sepak takraw). There is a coffee shop and a couple of other small shops who sell small items such as beverages, snacks and fish food .

Beautiful park in the southwest corner of old town. Well designed and nice layout. The area has many plants, trees and some shops to purchase food/drinks. Good place to have a picnic, go for a walk/run or read a book.

Love this park located exactly south west within the old city. It's become a favorite place to visit as it offers a decent play area for kids, plenty of space to walk around and a few small places to buy food or drink. It's very well kept and has always been clean and tidy when I've visited. Quite surprising to see such a variety of things such as beautiful big fish, birds, exercise machines, a basketball court, yoga, massage etc.... worth a visit

‏The location is really good at the end of the night market so you can feel the vibe and it is very convenient. The room is spacious, has all the basic services. However the overall look is a bit spoiled where check-in is very neglected, the family does not know English and this makes communication difficult. The backyard from which you ascend to the rooms is messy. Breakfast was written to be included in the price but was nothing. Overall we would return because of the location but not those who want a pampering place.

Fantastic park right in the heart of town, great for an early morning walk around the walking path, or watching the guys play a type of volleyball, there always people doing exercises, yoga or training using the weights or exercise machines.

A beautiful park to avoid the heat, enjoy the nature with lots of green trees and a fresh lake. You can also get to know about Thais sport activities after 5pm. There are quiet places to sit and listen to podcast or meditate too.

We spend a day at the park which is a nice way to escape the busy city around. There is some construction work ongoing in the park and all the food stalls are empty or closed. Only the toilets are open and free to use. I saw some yoga classes going on and there is a free gym area as well. Also a little playground and a lot of benches. Nice place to spend some time, if you are in Chiang Mai for a bit longer.

So colorful and fresh place for walk or just for chill on the side of the pound. I got there on flower festival and it was so beautiful and well designed, also at night they have everything with the light! But it is very small, with slow walk in 15-20 min you can see all the park. Also there is a lot of spaces where you can just stay and relax for a while, benches or just on the grass. It is like a breath of fresh air in busy town.

  • 5/5 Nancy A. 1 year ago on Google
I was there just after the flower festival, and it was still so beautiful!!! I'm sure it's always a nice park, but I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to see it with all the gorgeous flowers!! The best thing was watching a sport I've only ever seen played in Chiang Mai. It's a cross between volleyball and soccer. Yes, volleyball played not using hands!! You gotta see it!!!

Just few steps from busy road yet such a quiet and peaceful place. There is plenty of beaches to sit down and enjoy the view as well as grassy area to sit on blanket. Saw a few people having a picnic with them wishing I thought of it as well! There is also a kids playground looking like a great fun for family.

There are many beautiful trees and flowers, a lot of pigeons. Nice little park it's good for a little walk, people also do work out here. It's a little too close to the traffic, too noisy to relax completely.

Love this beautiful park in Chiang Mai where we often enjoy meditation on Sunday morning 10:30 am and Yoga in the Park everyday at 9 am. On the weekends there's a very nice ice cream vendor at the gate with delicious ice cream and sticky rice too. If you want to sit and relax you can rent mats at the local shops at the back of the park or get water, snack etc.

I love this place absolutely! One of my favourite places in CM! Quite and relaxing with also a nice cafe and a massage shop inside in case you need. Opens early in the morning and never too crowded so you can seat and relax in a very beautiful natural and clean setting. Also a outdoor gym there if you wanna exercise a bit. Theres another section of the park across the canal that a lot of people are not even aware of and its even wilder and quieter.
