This Temple is set within a quiet area and spacious grounds. Average as far as Temples go, I wouldn't go out of your way to see it, but could combine with several others nearby to make it a worthwhile visit. Nice reclining Buddha and the Assembly Hall is open to visitors.

Near the canal and historical gate, this temple is not as crowded as the ones near the centre. It's not huge but it's a welcome respite. Buddhist or not it offers solace.

Visited the place for a friends funeral. The prayer ceremony was held here before the cremation. Very clean, well maintained, peaceful and easily accessible from all sides. The prayer ceremony was also good. The resting or reclining Buddha is a beautiful representation and quite appealing.

Nothing really special about this place for camera shots. Reclining buddha status is small but that the main hall for blessing.

Chedi Plong also called Chiang Chom temple is known for its characteristics of having many buddha statues around; only three temples in Chiang Mai have this interesting feature such as Chiang Rak temple and Chiang Yeun; all these temples are outside the moat. It is nice little peaceful temple which have beautiful thai art on church's window. Also a small house in temple for old people from this community to do some activites together.

Quiet place to visit outside old city and meditate

A very pleasant wat situated in well maintained gardens and a quiet location with good parking inside the wat grounds. Very historically interesting stupa and prayer halls. Well worth a visit
