Hau Lin meaning the β€œHead of an Aqueduct” as this is where water from the river Haui Kaeo was fed into the most surrounding the old city.

The corner of the ancient fortress, better seen from the outside of the moat for nice reflections around sunset, 6pm.

This corner is where the sluice gate lets water into the moat (it's frequently the most muddy section). Cool, but probably the least impressive of the corners and the traffic around this corner makes it less than convenient.

Hua Lin Corner. A section of the old citywall in this corner of the square area that surrounded the ancient city. Nice place along with the other old citygates and citywall sections to explore and relive the historical sites. I was here back in May 2015. I have a Youtube channel with videos from different forts & bunkers that I've filmed with both drone and normal camera. Hope you'll check it out πŸ™‚ Username: Tomo 08swe.

Really amazing to learn the history!!! Awesome place to take pictures, just mind the traffic, also be careful of the police as parking in most places is prohibited.

Not really much here, just the ruins of the NW corner of the wall of the Old City of Chiang Mai. Pretty lotus bloom in the moat, and this yellow flowering tree was lovely in the late spring. I think this was the area where the stream that used to fill the moat connected.

Just a passingby attraction. Its a good view at night by the cool moat and a cool night walk around the moat. The walk will bring you a better understanding of the city and the respective locations. A worthwhile exercise and experience.

Nice corner of the old town area, good place that has some decent shops. It is a busy corner leading into the north/western part of the old town.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I had an incredible experience at Sak Yant Chiang Mai. I met with Nana at the in-house location in the heart of Chiang Mai. She spoke with me about the tattoos, the ritual, and the entire experience overall. And then we drove about 20 minutes away to the Ajarn's house, wai'd to the ajarn and we talk...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Today we went to all the temple's in Chiang Mai. In one word just beautiful but you've to see them for your self. The best one was for sure Wat Chedi Luang. Only at this you've to pay 40 bath entry fee when most of them are free. Still worth it though. In some of temple's women are not allowed to go...
