Pros Great hotel, amazing reception staff. Fantastic food. Clean rooms Cons Breakfast mediocre Smoking allowed so if your a non smoker can be a problem I didn't use the balcony as much as I would have liked due to smokers either side of me and a floor below. Had to retreat into my room and even close balcony doors. Noisy cleaning staff, 6:30ish loud conversations and banter to each other across court yard and outside rooms. Good to see happy staff but they really need to tone it down in the volume side and consider the guests that may be resting etc. I wouldn't stay again due to the these issues. But that is me, the hotel overall is safe, clean, good food, good staff.

This place has a lovely little garden in the center, which is a great place to hang out in. Only problem is how many mosquitos like to hang around, probably because of the pond and nearby water. Old City is a cute part of town. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had one issue with our room and they had to move us, which was a little frustrating since we ended up in a room that wasn't as nice as the one we had. Overall, a good stay though. Restaurant food is decent, had a curry and was tasty!

Location is great, away for party area. Near good food and sites though. Excellent massage three doors down: Calm Lovely pool setting, though often filled and no seats available. Rooms overlook pool or city, state preference. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are fine, though drain system is weird Rooms are clean enough. Bed are slightly firm, sheets clean and crisp Breakfast is fine.

Located in old Town chiang mai and is named after the old Town. 7-11 close by and nightly markets are a short walk. Staff is friendly and the rooms are older but clean and charming and well equipped and the water was always hot. Breakfast included daily had traditional north American food, but you should enjoy the local choices since they are better tasting and healthier. Great value and would come back.

Great hotel to stay in the heart of Chang Mai’s Old Town. The facilities are excellent with comfortable rooms, swimming pool and garden, water features and bar/restaurant. Good breakfasts are also available. Easy access to many local Wats and temples, plus a short walk to the various gates and most that surround the Old Town. The Riverside area is also well worth a visit. Would highly recommend.

I can’t find anything to improve. Unbeliavable closed hard with trees which give protection from the midday sun If needed. Nice clean pool. Extremely friendly staff and everyone speaking good English. Breakfast quality very good. Peacefull location in the middle of old city. Good food, you can rent a car or scooter from the hotel. Wi-Fi excellent.

It's a really nice hotel. The rooms are nice. There is a step down to the bathroom and shower is over the bath with a shower curtain. But who cares if water goes everywhere. Good drainage 😅. Good location and great for kids. The pool is nice with shade trees making it very comfortable. Balcony of room is great place to sit. It's good value for money. A step up from a budget hotel.

Very nice room! Well located in a silent area, but very convenient and central. Pretty nice breakfast:) The service is very good besides the reception desk…difficult to communicate with them. I had to deal several times with them during my 4 days stay and most of them don’t speak well English unfortunately:(

When I booked, I asked for a lower floor because I broke my ankle a year ago. They put me on the third floor and said they would move me down on the second night. Thank God for the elevator. Walking past the lobby and the pool looked very nice, but they allow people smoking cigars there and it was so strong I couldn’t breathe. The next day when they moved me down, they put me in the room right next to the cigar person and I told them I couldn’t handle that. I don’t understand why they let people smoke cigars on property. They move me back to the third floor. The pool looked very nice, but it was freezing cold and you could not hardly get in. The bad thing about the room is the platform that the bathtub is on is so wide and the floor is so slippery. You literally have to sit on the side of the bathtub and twist into the tub and out. I did have a nice time at this place, but there needs to be things fixed and they need to not let people smoke cigars in the main public areas.

Want to give 5 stars but no USB outlets and limited outlets in general plus luke warm water stopped that. But wonderful hotel, comfy room and bed, location is outstanding, you feel like in a little haven. Did not have breakfast but dinner one time and drinks another at the hotel restaurant which was great quality, good tasting, and very reasonable price. We were able to store bags on arrival and departure day.

My boyfriend and I traveled to chaing Mai at the end of November 2024 and this was one of our favorite hotels!! The rooms were clean and spacious. Each room had a balcony. The staff were awesome, helpful, and polite! The pool was great! The hotel was in a GREAT location. We really enjoyed our stay. I definitely reccomend this hotel!!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location can't be beat. We were within walking distance from everything we needed while in Chiang Mai: amazing wats (and plenty of other temples to visit), great massage (with lots of options close by), delicious food (all right on our street), and delightful coffee. The ambiance is delightful and calm, the rooms fit the need (with a focus on eco-friendly sustainability when possible), and the staff was helpful. The national park tour we booked for our time here picked us up right at our hotel and the songtaew that brought us back from Doi Suhtep (a must-visit for amazing views of Chiang Mai) easily returned us here. The courtyard is peaceful and inviting, the pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day, and we will absolutely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return in the future!

Pool is nice, however the last 2 days whilst our stay the water from faucet became yellow. According to the hotel reception, it’s the same around the neighborhood not sure if was because of the rain.

Beautiful hotel. Breakfast nice. Wonderful swimming pool and garden. Staff super nice. Area of calm in the city. But located in a quieter area of the city which is nice. Recommend the prison service Thai massage near by as well.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in March 2023. The location, service and amenities of this hotel were all amazing. It is true, as someone noted, the bathrooms are a little small, but it's nothing that should cause any concern.

I very much enjoyed our room. Especially enjoyed the koi pond right outside the front door. Even though you have to pay extra for the breakfast, it's well worth it

We had a really Nice stay, it was without breakfast, which at the end turned out to be better after the first morning that we were too lazy to find something else😅 The breakfast was a bit diluted and a bit pricy for what we got. Overall a really nice hotel :)

Very comfortable bed! It was such a nice thing to experience after many hard Thai beds. Staff was kind and friendly and helped us with anything we needed. Pool was really nice and I loved the bathtub! Very hot water and I fit perfectly in it. Super clean and nice stay! Small ponds around ground floor rooms with Koi fish were nice to see as well.

I spent 6 days in this hotel and I was quite satisfied. The situation, near the Wat Phra Sing, is excellent to visit the old town. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff - at least most of them- is efficient. The breakfast is good and the restaurant quite good and reasonably priced. It closes a bit early though. The pool is small but it's not for the pool that I came to Chiang Mai.

This is a great hotel for the price. The staff is super friendly, it's in a peaceful area, the garden area is very nice, and our TV had Netflix. I would like to note that the pillows were uncomfortable and I spent most days trying to kill the mosquitos, came in through the bathroom, before we went to bed so if they fixed those two things it would be perfect! I would also not select the breakfast option as the food was just okay (cost 200 baht).

Nice and clean hotel, located in the old town. Staff is friendly, they also let us change rooms without any issues when we requested a different room on the first floor instead of the pool area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the only negative is the breakfast. Most of the people in the hotel are Eueopeans, Americans or Australian, but there are only very limited "western" options at breakfast. More Asian dishes, but also spaghetti carbonara or pasta, which is just not a breakfast dish at all. I would come back to the hotel, but not for the breakfast.

Very comfortable hotel located in the heart of Old Town. De Lanna is walkable to many of the major attractions including the Night Bazaar and Sunday Night Market. Rooms were comfortable and included free WiFi, air conditioning, SmartTV, in-room safe and refrigerator. There was also a self service laundry room on-site which was a nice bonus. There was a lack of closet space and water always leaked out from the shower. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star review. Staff is very welcoming. A great place to stay when in Chiang Mai.

Nice location in old part of town. Nicely furnished, clean rooms. We had a balcony overlooking courtyard and pool, so it was quiet and relaxing. Everyone was friendly and the grounds well maintained. We tried Breakfast buffet once and then decided that we preferred exploring other coffee shops and just getting something at the nearby 7-11. For lunch, dinner or snack the restaurant is good. Excellent fish and chips! Would stay here again.

It was very comfortable. What was especially helpful was that there were bathrobes and needles and threads in the room, and the time spent relaxing on the veranda was the best. Porridge for breakfast every morning is excellent I was surprised that miso soup was served during my stay. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which is convenient for long stays.

Older hotel, but still decent. No fitness room. Breakfast included for 250 baht extra. Breakfast was a-ok. Staff friendly.

Had a very pleasant experience at De Lanna. Helpful staff, excellent rooms and a good location. Skip the restaurant as it's pretty average but otherwise can recommend.

DeLanna but no pool to use? Deluxe room with balcony overlooking pool. 2 big negatives. Swimming pool closed for 2 days for cleaning.  When I book a hotel with a pool I expect it to be available. And lots of mosquitoes. Otherwise DeLanna has helpful friendly staff and has a lovely setting in a good old Town location. Easy walk to "walking street market", good restaurants, and temples.
