I had an amazing stay in Pakping Hostel especially for the very clean areas, bathrooms, shower & dorms, nice common area, free foods at any time of the day/night and mostly because of its awesome owner, Sam who is taking care of every single person that stay in his hostel. He takes care of everyone. As for myself, he accommodated me by coming at the airport to drop me off things I've forgot at the hostel. He is very kind. For these reasons, I do recommend this Hostel. Thanks again Sam!

One of the best hostel in chiangmai. Very kind owner. There is free snacks and different kind of drink available all the time. Only the men shower is a bit too small if you are a really big guy. But for the price of 350 you get very much in return.

New & clean with complementary snacks and drinks in the kitchen area with breakfast included. The owner gets little extras like brownies and pastries :) He even took us to the airport!

Pros- the owner can speak English very well. The interior same 💯same as pictures and describes. The dorm bed is quite big and good size locker for a backpack. To be improve in - the air ventilation is bad in shower room and toilet in girl dorm and 2nd floor , the water for shower is not smooth and low, living room very humid and hot. Dorm door is noisy and difficult to close. Conclusions : I will visit again next time and hope the living room can have air-conditioning.

My absolute favorite go-to Hostel in Chiang Mai. The owners are absolutely lovely, kind people, always eager to help. It is them that make this place so special, not to mention, they attract the loveliest people. A piece of my heart will forever be left there. Thank you.

I did not stay there, but I wanted to thank the owners for accommodating my last minute cancellation. It means a lot, and I think this reflects the hospitality of Pakping!

First of all the two hosts are the most caring & welcoming people ever, they help us with literally everything. We normally don't really do hostels but Pakping was so good that we didn't want to leave anymore! We choose the private room which was on the fourth floor with the most amazing view over chiang mai. The interior is stylish and very aesthetically pleasing. The friendly cleaning lady is making sure that everything stays clean & beautiful, you can even use the kitchen (which is almost never the case in hostels) They provide water, tea, coffee & fruits and even a complimentary breakfast that we didn't even know about beforehand! (toast, cereal, nutella/ peanutbutter, fresh fruit, juices) The general vibe is chill, on the second floor is a really nice common space to hangout or get some work done. So if you are planning of visiting Chiang Mai you better stay at Pakping!

Good location in old city, clean and modern spacious rooms. They provide clean sheets and a towel. AC room. Good breakfast included and drinking water is provided all day. What makes this place really special is the service of the owners, its like being in a 5 star hotel. They help you with anything.

This hostel is just great. It is new and extremely clean and sol cute. Centrally located within t'he old town yet on a quiet street. Beds are very comfortable. There is toilet and shower in the capsule style shared female room and a balcony in which you are able to hang your clothes if you Wash any. A beautiful Common àrea on the first floor and a dinning area + kitchen (not for cooking though) on the ground floor with kettle microwave fridge, and all necessari utensils. Also they offer a free breakfast of toast, butter, Jan, cereal, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, croissants or cake depending on the day. I Will surely repeat if i'm ever un Chiang mai again!

The hostel owner is very helpful and can contact via chat application almost the time. The rooms are clean both shared dorms and private room. There is a small kitchen and eating area at ground floor. There is living room where guest can gather around and relax at 2nd floor. You can park a car around the alleys which can fit for 7-8 cars (but there are some 2-3 cars regulary parked at there) The staff only shows up at hostel from around 9 AM untill 5 PM. Though the location is a bit far away from attractions and restaurants. There are many cctv in and outside this hostel but I still feel a bit not secure as the owner manages the hostel by too much trusting on the people. For example, when we first arrived the hostel, they put the keys on the door which anyone can pickup and go inside the hostel. For shared dorm, there is 1 shared bath room for men and 2 shared bath rooms for wemen. The toilets are inside each small bath rooms which is very inconvenient as they are shared bathrooms and make the bath room smaller without dry and wet zone inside. For the private room, the bath room is good and have more space. Everything in private room is far better than shared dorm :) Overall, we feel OK to stay here comparing every things above with the price.
