Rooms are decent enough, The soundproofing is good to the outside, but you hear people in the corridor. Also the lobby is nice. BUT: In the bathroom the ceiling is dirty, and next to the bed the floor is broken & dirty?? Wifi randomly & often not working, unreliable, annoying. 10:30p.m. our water turned brown, and they only fixed it in the morning, so I had to go to bed without a shower. Staff doesn’t speak English well, it was difficult to ask about check-out time, which should be an easy task for reception!! After we came back from a day tour, the room service had been there as our beds were made, but they forgot to put toilet paper in our room?! Had to get it at reception… Also, our towel hanger broke down from the wall. Breakfast is only from 7-9 in the morning, and not a lot of choice: toast, watery coffee, no tea!, they serve you rice and sausage, juice and fruit available. No slippers or bathrobes available, as shown in the pictures. Exhausting stay here, will never ever go again.

Hotel appears that it would have once been very fancy. Now it's quite run down. Rooms were average, bathroom especially. No shower curtain so the floor would flood each time, sometimes normal for Thailand, but not for this design. Pigeon poop runs down the walls in the lobby. AC isn't turned on in the lobby or dining area, but staff were helpful in arranging a fan for us when requested. Beer was reasonable, 100bht for a large leo (not bad in a hotel). We ate breakfast one morning and then decided against it the second morning... the amount of food being cooked for how few people were staying there was concerning. Was in a good location to 7/11 and street food on the corner was quite nice.

Whatever you do, don't stay here. The pictures are completely misleading. The hotel is dilapidated, the breakfast was inedible, the wifi is so bad it's unusable, the television did not work, and there was no hot water in the morning. And they have the audacity to call themselves a boutique hotel.

Clean and staff are friendly, rooms are nice but the rest of hotel could need with updating a little.

Do not stay at this hotel if you are a foreigner! The front desk was rude which is uncharacteristic of Thais. The beds are old an uncomfortable. Mold is in the ceiling as you leave the lobby and head towards elevators. The breakfast buffet was bad for 150 bht. The carpets are extremely dirty. The only thing good was proximity to things we did. We stayed 4 nights and booked on hotels, com and couldn’t figure out how to cancel after arriving! The front lobby is grand with wood so when it was new 40-50 years ago it was a nice place!

It gets credit for a good location, nice lobby and dining area, and a great free breakfast. It looses points for pretty poorly kept hallways but the rooms, and having rooms that aren't the most up-kept. Both our shower curtain and that of the other couple with us had a high amount of black mold on it.

Very cheap to book online, but double price at the counter. Was probably a nice hotel 10 years ago, but is now run down, dirty, average staff, and terrible food. Emergency torches in rooms missing, elevator broken, internet so slow it was almost useless, I could go on and on. We didn't use the breakfast voucher on the second day as we were worried we could get food poisoning after the first day. Rice that tasted days old, eggs that were completely cold, etc etc.

Great and clean place with an excellent and super-nice hostess. You get water every day, and a very private space to be in with your own bathroom and a comfy bedroom with good AC. The location is great too with proximity to a lot of restaurants and attractions.

This hotel is very old and the rooms unfortunately smell disgusting - there’s a lot of mold in many of the rooms. My boyfriend asked for a upgrade as I could not stay in the room due to allergy and the staff were really helpful in upgrading but we still had to pay. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Kinda spooky, esp dark elevators & hallways, stained carpets, construction teams down the hall with power tools all day. Quiet part of old city.

Great spot for a good price. Lost a star for the beds, they are quite uncomfortable. They are really hard and can feel the springs. Otherwise everyone is kind and helpful and a fantastic location.
