Part of me liking my Chiang Mai stay so much was because I spent it resting there. The place is clean, calm, and the staff ever so friendly and of good taste in regards to its advices. I will surely come back.

In our entire trip to Thailand this was the best hostel. Location is prime, price is absurdly cheap for backpackers, beds are fine (they’re firm if that’s your vibe but the owner will give you a mattress pad if you want), and most importantly the owner, Ning Nong, is quite possibly one of the nicest people around. He is always accommodating and even offered to wake up at 3AM if we couldn’t get a taxi to help us out. Added bonus is that he provides drinking water all day and toast in the morning free of charge. Very few hostels can compete with this one in Chiang Mai.

7 nights at Eden. Very good hostel. Nice staff and good boss. We really enjoy our stay here.

Completely overpriced for what it is. Bathrooms and facilities are clean. But mattresses are rock hard, stuff doesn't speak any English (very annoying! Just the manager who is only sometimes present) no curtains, not a social place and they canceled the reservation on booking so that they don't have to pay any fee! :D I noticed when I wanted to write my review. 315 Baht plus 20 Baht for a towel is just way too much. Laundry with 60 baht per kg is also expensive! (but clean and smelled good ;)...)

Ning-Nong was a fantastic host. Made the stay in Chiang Mai a really memorable time. He is very knowledgeable about the area and speaks great English. The facilities were great and free breakfast and coffee all day was good too. The location was fantastic, within walking range of most noteworthy places in town. There's a great coffee shop just around the corner, be sure to visit it.

I never stayed in a hostel before but this is the best experience ever! Stayed for only two nights but it was an awesome stay. The hostel is clean and comfortable. Ning Nong who is the owner is very helpful and accommodating. He will guide you if you need any help on getting around Chiang Mai and tours as well. I didn't book any tour but I will definitely come back. A pleasant stay. Thank you Ning Nong and family.

Awesome hostel with friendly staff, for me the best hostel I stayed in Thailand. Clean and Tidy, everything is cleaned at least once a day. Free Tee/Coffee, WiFi, Towel and waterguns for Songkran. Got a lot of useful information for what to do. Mattresses are a bit hard, but I like it this way, could be to hard for some people.

Ning Nong is absolutely an amazing host. So welcoming and helpful. Treats everyone like they are his kids. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Relaxing atmosphere. Great location to walk around...very close to Sunday Night Market. Loved my stay here.

Memories.. Had a great time here at this hostel 7 years ago! Hope it will reopen after what seems to be a renovation.

Great location, nice facilities and fantastic staff. Easy to walk all over the old City from here, and reasonable bike rentals also open up the rest of the city. Rooms are comfortable with great AC, bathrooms have good privacy and hot water. Staff is incredibly friendly and eager to assist in any way.
