The rooms were clean. But, it was impossible to sleep. You can hear everything in the halls and next door rooms and people were extremely loud all night. We left the hotel 2 days early even though rooms were fully paid for, just so we could sleep. It's a really old hotel, breakfast was not good and definitely not worth the additional cost.

For who wish to join the Loy Krathong & Yi Peng Lantern Festival, this is one of the best location hotel because the festival will start in front of this hotel.

Great location at Thapae Gate in the Old City. Nearly everything within walking distance. Nice, clean, well lit rooms. Friendly staff, nice beds and fast free WiFi make for a comfy stay.

The high light of the hotel is the low quality of breakfast.

Perfect location for exploring Chiang Mai. Very helpful and quick replies when I contacted them before arrival. Spacious room which was perfectly acceptable for my short stay. Staff were very friendly, I would certainly consider staying there again.

Never stayed at the hotel and I never will. I understand I booked a nonrefundable room. The SHA Plus covid rooms were mandated by the Thailand government. When the Thailand government changed the Covid arrival rules about the fully vaccinated tourists not requiring the test and go scheme on arrival. I canceled the room which I didn't expect to get my money back for the room fee. The RT-PCR Covid Test, Airport Transfer, ATK Test were separate charges on the booking. The IMM Hotel Tha Phae refused to refund me the money for the RT-PCR Covid Test, Airport Transfer, ATK Test which were no longer required by the Thailand Government.

A quite hotel with many things going for it. The location of this hotel is prime but has some shortfall like no ac in the lobby and the room ac is a bit dated. The breakfast here is buffet style and quite nice but can be hard to enjoy when it is hotter inside than the shade outside.

Me and my partner stayed here the last week and a bit, we picked it because of its location and free wifi, breakfast. This hotel was very clean and well maintained. We stayed on the second floor near the stairs which was convenient, we could hear a lot of sound in the morning from people being loud at breakfast but other than that it was quiet, the room was well kept and new air-con. The breakfast had a good selection for a jump-start to the day and the staff were friendly and spoke English. I would definitely recommend.

bad, the hotel wants to charge to provide a towel, yes I can't shower because there isn't 1 towel in the room. also now there is a noise impossible to sleep because they are doing a work.

Location is great, it is opposite to the Tha Phae Gate. They offered a really value long-stay price. Good bed, hot shower, cleaning service, and parking lot are included in the package. My room was clean, better than what I expected. Staff was kind to show me different room types, and I found that some rooms do not have a window or have a smaller window. By the way, it’s a 3-star hotel, and you get more than what you pay for.

Had a good stay at the hotel. Very friendly staff. Got to check in early at 9am. Mcd just outside the hotel. Hotel guest gets a discount for Mcd. Nearby motorbikes shop for rental(Pop Big Bike Rental) Walking distance to conveniences shop, massages place, starbucks & cafe. Around 10min walks to the night markets. Ample parking space behind the hotel. Will definitely come again.

A mid range functional hotel - Rooms are basic but nice and clean. Air-conditioning is good. But the best thing about this hotel is its location right opposite the main city Gate. I stayed during Songkran and this was right in the heart of all the action!! its also within easy walking distance of the weekend markets and Night Bazaar.

We stayed here mostly because we had a late night flight and needed a late night check in. Room was nice and clean. Good water pressure in the shower, comfy bed. Friendly service and very convenient location.

I stayed for a week. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well stocked and quiet. I had no problems. Great central location and a 24hr McDonalds on ground level for 4am coffee🙂.

All staff are helpfull, Room are clean, Breakfast very good tast, Location is close to center of the city. Everything very inconvenience.

The hotel has a great location across from Tha Phae Gate in Chaing Mai & is close to some great local markets. I do however feel like the rooms are over priced for what the hotel is & what is offered. Rooms are around an atrium & so any noise downstairs echos throughout the whole hotel at all hours of the day & night. Sleeping in was impossible as you could hear the sounds of dishes, kids screaming & people talking from the breakfast area below. The two poorly placed USB ports in my room didn't work. Twice the hotel staff said they would send a technician to fix them, but they just said that to save face & send me away rather than actually try to help. They didn't have a single power adaptor to lend out to guests, which is disappointing seeing how cheap they are & can be purchased from 711 (I desperately needed one in the middle of the night but not joy). The hotel has cable TV with some English language movies, but reception was poor & fuzzy. The hotel felt more set up for locals rather than foreigners.(See breakfast remarks). The location is a plus but the points mentioned above really let it down, especially the price.

This hotel is at the good location. I can walk at Sunday market by cross the road. I can go many temple by call grab or walk.The staffs are very good and nice. The breakfast is fantastic. I love this place. MacDonald is in Front of the hotel. I can buy snack and drink at the machine near reception. Many restaurants around this hotel. Happy weekend.

There was some mis-com for the airport pick up but the hotel staff was most understanding. I have stayed in this hotel many times before and I have not been disappointed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No regrets,

Stayed here several times. I think this hotel is quite good. The location is strategic and right next to Mc D.
