A NIGHTMARE FULL OF BEDBUGS ! As you can see I never comment anything on google but I have to now ! 1) When i arrived the sheets were dirty and the fat (really unpleasant) owner told me that I had to pay 200 thb to change it... i thought never mind I ll sleep in my own one. Few days later I am full of bedbugs bite. 2) the hostel is dirty. The rooftop looks good on picture but the chairs are the most uncomfortable ones I ve seen and the floor is a mess 3) proof of how bad the hostel is? Two french guy i ve met changed hostel after one night ! Never go there !!!

BEWARE!! BED BUGS. We booked here well in advance to enjoy Songkran. We arrived and dropped off our backpacks and went to enjoy the festival. When we arrived at almost midnight we saw something moving and realised that all the beds were infested with bedbugs. We phoned the manager and when she came she tried to get us to sleep there and to move to another room the next day. We refused for obvious reasons. We were told that the hostel had recently been disinfected. But they did it wrong! They were aware that there were bedbugs before check-in, because they have had comments about it for weeks. Too bad we didn't read it.

Bed bugs? Itchy feet in the comforter in the middle of the night. After the same itching followed by typical bites (2 very close), no more bites after that unless the comforter was used.

Clean rooms, very helpful staff and grate location , close to old town and near by good food shops and restaurans. Most inportant thing I can rest and sleep good there.

I had an amazing time in Doze Hostel. Mo, the owner, she is so kind and I have felt in my home. I spent one month in this hostel and I would recomend for who are seeking a good place in chiang mai.

I booked Doze because the reviews were great relative to the price and I was not let down… the lobby and rooms are gorgeous and the rooftop is awesome for relaxing. It’s also a VERY short walk to the Chang Phuak night market where you can get dinner and it’s also super close to the Chang Phuak gate to get into the city walls. The lobby was also a great place to hang out and meet people. The best part, though, was Tangmo🍉..she’s the friendliest hostel host I’ve ever met and will go out of her way to make sure you’re taken care of 😁

Cool hostel in the heart of Chiangmai downtown. Lovely place to stay with easy going vibes, service meets standard. The owner of the place was so nice and recommended the fantastic tour programs for us so we were enjoying the excursion so much. Will be back again 100%.

We had a great time at Doze. The location of the hostel is super good, many markets around, inclusive in the morning time. The staff was very kind and always ready to give us tips and chat. The beds have curtains so we get more privacy. The Wi-Fi was very good.

Absolutely fantastic place to be. One of the best and cheapest hostels i ever stayed in. Reception professional, kind and helpful despite some miserable and problematic guests that always complain, don't respect other people's property, cause negative situations and then later blame it all on hostel managment. There is even aircon for such a low price, free water, good wifi, clean rooms, great location, very good english speaking staff, I could go on...

The best, apart from the location, is the host kindness- she helped us a lot when we were in need! I'd recommend this hostel to everyone who come to Chiang Mai :)

We checked in and soon checked out, not able to complete our full stay. Very strong smell in reception area and in room. Cheap but in this instance you get what you pay for. No common area and poor location. No refund was given by the property.

Good sides - The hostel was clean and well maintained. - The staffs are well behaved, very friendly. - There is a common space. So, I was able to meet new peoples - There is a washing machine facility and place to dry clothes - AC was running as long as I was in the room. It was working perfectly - The bed was comfortable Need to improve sides There are always things to improve though it was awesome - privacy is a little issue as in upper beds, there is no curtains in two sides, at least one of these sides should be covered as we can see each other on the upper bed - A side pillow would be great addition for comfortability

Clean. Quiet. Decent location. Lacks a comfortable common area and not a huge amount of toilets for the number of guests.

Great place! Clean, perfect location right near the north gate. Nice rooftop area to hangout. Decent wifi. Nice bathrooms. Good ac. Friendly staff that remembered my name and spoke English well. Very reasonably priced. Laundry access. Overall best hostel I stayed at in chiang mai!

Superb hostel for backpackers and budget travellers. The amenities are adequete for me and the decorations are well-organised. Its location is very close to Chang Phueak market (and street foods at night), the iconic city wall and Chang Phueak bus station so if you plan to travel at the distant parts of Chiang Mai or other provinces, it may be the suitable place for you to stay in .

Very clean / confortable hostel, friendly and helpful staff. Next to north’s entrance of the old city. However there was a thief (another guest of the same room) in room A who stole me money while i was in shower (night of january 5). But not the hostel ‘s fault.

Bed was good but the whole place is very dirty and smelly. Won't recommend!

Great place to stay, easy to get anywhere from here. Great price too. Right by some morning and evening markets. The staff is superb. Would definitely recommend.

Not too bad, but I must give a bad review because compared to the other hostels I was in, it is not as good. 1- Locker is far away from the rooms 2- privacy in rooms is not great 3- Bed structures are wobbly, which makes it difficult not to wake up the other person 4- no space for your belongings close to the bed (except on the floor) 5- I wish there was a nice & cosy common space, as it is always nice to chill and discuss with others.

So happy I stayed here. I came back again. Clean, cheap and staff are polite and professional. They are happy to help you with anything in Chiang mai and everything is so close. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you!

Good place to stay and sleep while you spend your days visiting, at the outskirts of the center! Had a cool terrace at the top!
