The best hostel I stayed at in Thailand. The owner Khai is such a thoughtful and sweet guy, he spent like an hour helping me find the right zipline company, and even called a friend on the inside to get me a discount! Not to mention the free dinner he cooked for everyone in the hostel, which was honestly some of the best Thai food I've had. This isn't a party hostel, but it's definitely a good place to make new friends and have a few beers with them. Highly recommend!

The hostel is great and a very chill place to be. The food at the hostel is very good and a fair price for the quality. Khai is a very nice person and very knowledgeable about Chiang Mai. He also organizes a lot of fun activities for people staying at the hostel including some delicious family dinners. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff here make you feel very welcome the minute you check in. Located in a really good place inside the old city of Chiang Mai with easy access to all of the markets and temples. The owner, Kai, is a brilliant guy and has helped us to book all of the activities we have done (loads) for a great price. Anything you want/need the staff will help with. They encourage everyone to be like a family here. Very clean hostel with towels to rent and good showers/beds. I couldn't reccomend this place more highly.

AMAZING HOSTEL! One of the best I’ve stayed at out of close to a hundred. Khai is an incredible host who goes above and beyond to help your experience in Chiang Mai the absolute best. He knows all the best places to book tours with and has advice on just about anything that you want to do in the area. The volunteers were also incredible and extremely helpful. The rooms and facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable! A very social hostel that’s hidden away in a smaller street so you don’t hear all the noise from the busy city center. Close to many popular temples as well. Incredible place and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit Chiang Mai!

This place is truly amazing! How can I even describe it! Great vibes all the time with an amazing atmosphere & common area. The rooms are clean and you get your own locker as well. The staff is so friendly & always willing to help. Plus you have the owner Khai, who will go above and beyond to make sure your happy and know what to see during your stay in Chiang Mai! My favorite hostel by far!

This hostel is great for meeting people, very sociable, good atmosphere and for the price one of the best in Thailand for sure. Khai and the staff go out their way to make sure everyone feels welcome. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

My stay at Thailand Wow Hostel was wonderful! Facilities were clean and comfortable. The common area made socializing a breeze. Khai is committed to making your stay great by providing lots of information on things to do, cooking family dinners, and organizing nights out. Would stay again, and would definitely recommend!

Thailand Wow is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The owner is incredibly interactive with his guests and almost feels like one of the residents. You will never find a better atmosphere in any hostel. We told Khai, the owner, the activities we were thinking about doing and he helped us plan everything and even saved us money. He made being in Chiang Mai so easy for us because he knows way too much about this place. I can't stress enough how great your trip will be if you stay with Khai at Thailand Wow.

Stayed here 3 night around NYE.. it was really easy to meet other travels and arrange tours and activities to do around Chiang Mai. Khai the owner was amazing though. He prepared the tastiest family dinner for us all on the 31st and arranged for us to set of lanterns.. which was a magical experience. Also I had left my bag at a club, Khai took to the place and was able to help me get it back! Again a great hostel that was social without being a party hostel.

I had an amazing time at such a great hostel. It definitely felt like a taste of home. It is a small hostel and they serve alcohol but it definitely is not a party hostel. The owner, Khai takes wonderful care of his guests and is amazing at booking and recommending things for you to do. There is a reason there are so many great reviews here. Stay here and enjoy the Old City and all it has to offer.

Came here again after 2 years and it was still awesome. Great social vibe without being a party hostel. It's a very chill place and the owner Khai always tries to make your stay as memorable as possible. I really recommend the family dinner if you happen to be there

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Khai is awesome and most everyone is solo so it’s a great way to meet people and find people to hang out with. They also have food available that’s really good. Would definitely stay again!

My first stay was supposed to be 3 days and it ended up being 8 and then I came back for 8 more days as soon as I could. The owner Khai is so sweet and will stop everything to help you no matter what time of day it is and he knows everything there is to know about the area and can book anything you want to do. The ladies who work there are so sweet and keep the place spotless at all times. By far the cleanest and best kept hostel I've stayed at in SEA. Great family atmosphere and mattress pads on the beds! If I could give more stars I would.

I stayed for two nights while it was quite busy! It was a great mixture of a casual, social hostel and one where I could get space to myself. They book day tours for the best rates. I highly recommend this hostel!

The hostel was within walking distance of temples and markets, and other small shops :) The place is cozy and the guests are really social! Although it's nice and quiet at night. There's also a nice little restaurant within the hostel, and the food is good! The yogurt smoothies were my favorite :) The owner Khai is also kind and welcoming. I recommend this hostel!

Excellent place to stay. Affordable and for any age any soul any mind. Perfect location lowkey on the south end of the old town square. Great staff and owner is awesome, always ready to help you find restaurants elephant cares or hikes around! Definitely recommend!

The BEST hostel I’ve stayed in so far. Kai is the best he can sort out ANYTHING for you in terms of tours, transport and advice and is so happy to do so. The common area is great too and a wicked place to meet people as a solo traveller - I left for a night and came back! Nate the volunteer is really good at making everyone feel included and he’s generally a lovely guy. Wicked location too - will DEFINITELY be back 😊
