Incredible flavors. I live in Chiang Mai and this is the best BBQ you can find. American style and flavors. I came for their 4th of July party all you can eat buffet and DAMN. The spread was crazy good. Expensive? Sure, but I honestly felt like I was back in America with family. Ribs, burgers, dogs, pasta salad, potato salad, the works! Delicious cup cake to top it off. Eat here if you have the chance. ‘Mercia baby.

Brisket was bland and arrived in about 1.5X1.5 cubes (I had to slice) in about 1/2 an inch of water. Got a small bag of warm coleslaw, a tub of mashed potatoes, and burnt fries. The pulled pork was ok, but no sauce came with it or anything for that matter. Won't order again.

I only ordered two hamburgers and fries. Should I eat in my life I've never been given it. The buns old and hard. Black fries inedible and really black and deep brown colour. I have just been informed that the owner of the restaurant is not on site. I think it's better if the restaurant stays closed when the owner isn't there.

Like wow. So bad. Ordered smoked brisket. It was a small block of super tough meat and it came in a tub of water. Tasted like chewy boiled meat. Super small portion of mash and cole slaw. Everything way overpriced. We were glad that the Burmese tea leaf salad was good. At least there was that.

If you say 10am open then OPEN. Your phone numbers on your signs out front are disconnected and we drove 1.5 hours to come eat here and you were closed. Disappointed to have come so far to only see your closed sign on front gate and not even get to try your food.

Man, I've been meaning to leave a review for awhile. Let's start with people. Mike and his family, which also happens to be how he makes you feel, are wonderful. They are friendly, care about your experience, do the best to accommodate and go round personally to check on everyone when they can. I've worked in restaurants for a huge portion of my life and the atmosphere and how one feels is truly important. Bad meals can be forgiven with great service. Which is not a problem, as I have never had a bad meal. The legendary buffets spoil you for choice. It is a lovely balance of good old western food which I crave at times, as well as lovely balanced Thai food. Both made with experience, skill and love. Some say 400baht is steep, I understand, but you get what you pay for and more. I think it's a more than value for money. It's a massive family cookout and I love it. You can also visit this lovely dining house in regular hours, no need to wait once a month or special events. They have everything you love there and waiting. I highly recommend, 10/10 good bois.

Can't understand the rave reviews. Sausages were literally burnt to a crisp. Chicken wasn't great either. Ribs were good as was the sliced meat. The beer was only small cans at 60 baht a pop. Parking is difficult. Inadequate fans to keep cool. Overall, disappointing.

Came by for the Thanksgiving feast, was not disappointed. Plenty of food, all of it delicious. Little taste of home halfway around the world. I can't thank they owners enough for making this happen. If you find yourself in Chaing mall with a craving for proper BBQ, it's worth the trip.

Ordered delivery from here and it was by far the worst ribs I've had anywhere in Chiang Mai. The meat was so dry and chewy that most of it was inedible and I had to throw it out. The fries were also terrible and very oily and soggy. Also, several items were missing, which they said they would reimburse me for, but they never did. I had to contact the delivery app who reimbursed me instead.

This isn't an on-site review as I have not been, but if you find yourself in need of ordering a traditional holiday meal, for pick up or delivery, CMSH will make it happen. All food made it from there to us warm and ready to serve. And that was for 33 teenagers and 7 adults! And all left fed and happpy.

Incredible smoked meat but much more expensive than America. We had a 7kg smoked turkey. Tender, moist, flavorful throughout!

Chiang Mai Smokehouse has added pizza to their extensive menu. My favorite is the butter garlic white pizza, but the meatball pizza is pretty good too!

Delicious smoked meat, I come here every now and then to fill my freezer. I also come for the buffet whenever its possible.

Their Thanksgiving buffet was off-the-charts. It was all-you-can-eat turkey, stuffing, Caesar salad, etc. It was a little slice of home.

We went with my wife on saturday evening 18pm after i saw commercial in fb. It stated -50% from pizza5-8pm (200b) and buy one burger get one free.(200b). I got confused after i got check, it was 870b, when i reminded discounts, check got redused to 730b included drinks, .. burgers were ok but smallest ive seen, spezially if you think about prize, fries wet and dripping oil, pizzas were tasty, but still, not 400b worth.. i had long conversation with owner and he was standing behind his product 100%, i am not going back, because without discounts that trip would be 1400b and with that prize i am looking for 5 star servise and leaving with full belly with my family!!!

We had the Spareribs and shredded pork yesterday. These were OUT OF this world good, Delivery was spot on and even a bit early. Had a nice chat with the owner kater on the day. We most certainly will make this a regular!!!

Meat!!

During this year of Covid mess, we decided to have Xmas dinner at home. Ordered a smoke turkey, mashed, gravy, crab sauce, and stuffing. Had it sent by road early, and had a Xmas Eve dinner. The dinner was excellent, but I still like my own mashed better. Otherwise, I suggest you try it!

Hidden location but the food was amazing! We reserved the buffet for Christmas and they didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t get a picture bc it was dark but great food and friendly owners. I’ll be back when I return to Chiang Mai.

I love this place, I get meatloaf, potato salad, and smoked salmon almost every couple weeks and they're always fantastic. Potato salad is just like my Mom used to make. I've also had Thanksgiving catered with a nice big turkey, everything was spot on.

Had such a great time visiting the other night. It doesn’t feel like going to a restaurant, but being invited into a home where the hosts are extremely good cooks. In addition to the great portions and spot-on flavors (one of the best Cubano sandwiches I’ve ever had!) We also had the pleasure of this family’s company. From the kids openness to the great conversation with Mike and Punnee, it feels a bit unlike any other experience I’ve had. Also, petition him to put that ice cream he let us sample on the menu. My gf said she hasn’t stopped thinking of it since the other night and we agree we need more! Thanks for the incredible food and even more incredible company.

We went for a vegan buffet 200 baht person and this month, they have Mexican theme. Their food was great. I like bean dishes and noodles...as well as vegan brownies and pizzas l! This is so good. But the food is not that warm...maybe we went a bit late. We might try to come early next time. The staff was nice and helpful :)
