What a find! So many years in Chiang Mai and only now do I find the Happy Frog. Friendly staff, dining inside and out, with a large selection of hams, cheeses, breads, oysters, wines, coffee and more. Very well laid out with plenty of wall decorations creating a good dining atmosphere. I only had a coffee and toasted sandwich this time, but will be back soon. What really made the sandwich was the selection of titbits on the plate with it. Good service, large menu, free wi-fi and clean toilets.

So, you can still get excellent cold cuts and panini, but just not as many as before. You can now choose from a selection of local Thai food as well.

Food is delicious and nice service. The bread choices are great. The baguette with mozzarella and tomato and the mozzarella prosciutto panini were both amazing. They have a large menu with a lot of options. The grilled cheese wasn’t as good, the bread was not crunchy and tasted a little sweet but the dipping Tabasco sauce was nice. Fabulous little deli. I wasn't expecting too much, just a quick bite to eat. Instead got a great BLT European style. A very nice owner (?) staff. An incredible deli selection of meats and cheeses.

Well buddy of mine suggested this restaurant so I met him for coffee and was amazed at the selection of cold cuts and cheeses and unfortunately I had no time but I will definitely be back and it will be on my bucket list for the next trip. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. As well as Thai food and other sundries, you can get a good red wine and a cheese platter with some delicious brie and grapes and things, which is what we ordered because we'd already eaten. I had a detox fusion drink of grape, cucumber and pineapple which seemed to really help my tummy troubles. A lovely place to chill and people watch.

Went to the happy frog for a ice cream( the best in chaingmai.)I noticed they have a a deli style restaurant with the finest meats and cheeses at a reasonable price. I had a special request on a baguette sandwich and the were very accommodating . The restaurant is decorated by the someone with style ( very inviting) I will return to try more from the delicious menu. The location was easy to find and the service was outstanding . If you’re craving a meal of overflowing melted cheese, I highly recommend the traditional cheese toasted sandwich here. The bread is dipped in egg and fried which pushed it slightly over the edge for me in terms of being too rich but I devoured the entire thing all the same. It was a the snack that became a meal

Great atmosphere as you can sit outside watching people and the market. Had a panini with parma ham and parmesan - I asked the waitress if the vegetables and sauce go by default, she nodded, and I got an empty panini with just ham and cheese - so if you want your sauce and veggies - specify and make the waitress repeat what she understood explicitly. Ham was way too salty and parmesan was barely noticeable, couldn't taste it really, bread was ok, but again not the best, so I'd say the ingredients are not top notch, but it was a decent 4. Could be better if it were done properly with all the ingredients inside. Baked potatoes were quite good, with garlic and rosemary and custom made sauce, though again it would be better if the slices were thinner. So, taking into account the price, might not be the best price to quality ratio, but still a rather decent spot if you know what and how to order.

Ordered delivery from here and the baguette itself was very nice as other reviews have mentioned, but the filling was very minimal and it looked almost empty compared to the pictures I've seen from here. A few slices of cheese, some small patches of very thin cut ham, it wasn't even slices just kind of little rolled up balls of ham, a little bit of lettuce and I think a couple of grapes. The cheese and ham was clearly good quality and I'm very happy to pay for quality, but to be honest for thb265 for a sandwich (excl delivery fee), I was expecting a bit more than a pretty empty and sad looking baguette.

I was truly surprise how many people love cheese in chiangmai since Olaf plan to extend to two large fridge cabinet showcase for the cheese , speciality are different plate of cold cuts and cheese , wine and different gourmet sandwiches made with freshly baked baguette and ciabatta breads.
