lovely location.staff very nice, pleasant place to get away from the city. Beans are not roasted or ground here. If you are afraid to travel outside the city on a beautiful country road, this place is not for you. This is a wonderful location quite outside of the urban environment. Coffee is far superior to most other coffee places in Chiang Rai area. If you are comfortable with a conventional, American level coffee experience, refined sugar and white flour, you will love it here. Fries are not fresh, they are frozen, yet still good. If you are looking for a pure coffee experience, with fresh roasted, and fresh ground beans, this is not for you. Go to Nanglae Coffee for that.

Wonderful location, beautiful garden and trees. I thoroughly enjoyed my choux pastry, it was creamy and soft, the texture of the pastry wasn't too soggy with the fresh cream. My iced oat milk latte was delicious. Medium roast beans from Brazil. The dark roast is from Bangkok. We were hoping to get local beans and fresh roasted. Nevertheless our coffee tasted really good, definitely a step up from many cafes. So many delicious looking desserts. Danger! The staff is super sweet but they should know the menu better and have answers to basic questions. It would also be useful if one person spoke better English as Polar attracts many tourists who unfortunately don't speak Thai.

Basically the same as when they were located inside the city. Nicely, but simply, decorated. Nothing special, but nice. Food is also nice looking but very plain. Coffee is average. I want to have more to praise as it could be a nice place to relax outside of the city. But, if I’m being honest, there are better places for the same money. While I can recommend it for city people who want the country ambiance, I wouldn’t recommend it for a second visit or for those who have a lot of Chiang Rai experience. It’s just too “average” to warrant a “must go” recommendation. Staff, however, were very pleasant.

A fairly hidden but known cafe. Nice outdoor environment with busy indoor seatings. Food wise is fairly decent. Love the vibe. BBQ Pull Pork Sandwiches (125B) - nice Hot Cappuccino (75B) Matcha Roll Cake (105B) - pretty good, but too small for the price.

Cafe with great vibe with renowned Choux cream. Wide variety of drinks are also available. I ordered mango soft cream cake which is very soft and tasty , also not too sweet.

Polar is one of our favorite breakfast places. The breakfast set A/B bread is a speciality — it is memorable. Love the indoor outdoor options to sit & enjoy time with a loved one.

Desserts were good, but nothing special in general. The most dissapointing thing is the sign on the picture - while everybody is trying to reduce plastic waste, this cafe somehow does the opposite... Hope it's a temporary measure

Not very impressive with customer service when they tried to take orders from multiple customers at the same time. The location of the shop is kibda bad. They do have good stuffs though. Coffee is great. Food is delicious.

Not as good as I expected, but it’s amply a nice place to chill out. The cup of coffee I ordered turned out to taste pale as if they had it filtered a third time. It’s a shame there were no cakes or bakes on display as I was told the temperature-controlled window was broke for the warmer air at the shop this time around. Overall, though, it’s worth a visit.

Lovely bakery/cafe with very good food, coffee and drinks, and tempting desserts. Very nice vibe too. Also offer a nice selection of breads to take home. Welcoming staff, prompt service. Highly recommend Polar for brunch or lunch.

Even though outside town it's quite busy during weekends Quite a variety of cakes and breakfast items

Less customers, but to get a iced coffee latte needs longer than to get a warm omelet. I'm not sure the omelet was really freshly made in a pan or it was a pre produced product. I'm a first time customer > I wouldn't go again.

Stellar coffee, NY cheesecake. Atmosphere is great. Came on a Monday morning and not too busy, but I expect it's too busy on a weekend.

I came here specifically for the coffee. Both Flat White and Latte were perfectly made with right temperature and delicious. Surprisingly New York cheese cake was excellent and cheep too.

Great breakfast especially for the wholewheat bread. Set B is a full breakfast board.

Ordered on Foodpanda a couple of times, and everything's been so delicious. My top 3 picks: choux cream, Ben's breakfast sandwich, and the cream cheese bagel.

Very friendly staff and a variety of cakes/ coffee to choose from. We went near closing time but they were very nice and said we can continue to sit outside in the garden area too

As a French foodie person who terribly misses "boulangeries" and loves brunchs, I was in heaven! High quality food in a nice environment, away from the busy town centre, easy-going and friendly staff who can speak English fluently. Chilled atmosphere. Homemade bread is priceless! Don't hesitate, go there!

Nice place, cool breeze on a hot day. Coffee is good but overpriced.. They make you pay an extra 20 baht for special roasts and the pasteries were not that good (but we have high standards coming from Belgium/France..) Free drinking water though! So it's still a nice spot to chill for some time.

👍 Food is delicious. However, be careful when calculating. The price on the checkout and the price on the menu are different.
