It’s been tough to find a real authentic Italian style pizza while in Thailand, I am sceptical about going to places as I don’t feel it’s going to be as good as I hoped but credit where credit is due. Chef Sasa delivered on all asepects. When we arrived we were seated at the only table free in the restaurant, I’d say this place can seat 20 inside and 6 outside. Bruschetta is the only part of this experience that slightly let me down, only tomato and oil, I would have liked maybe 1 or 2 more and a little garlic/and or onion but that’s me just being a little picky. They were good and loaded. Pizzas were superb. The sauce really set it apart from many other pizzas. A great size for a fair price. The menu is outside you know how much they are before stepping in and for a 13inch pizza, this is more than fair. We like to be in and out of places within an hour if we can usually and it’s hard in Thailand as you’re usually on Thai time but Chef Sasa even when very busy, managed to do this which I thought was great. Definitely worth checking out and would eat here again!!

My girlfriend and I were extremely hungry and decided to have diner at Chef Sasa. Had a lovely diner here with delicious authentic italian food. The menu is extensive and full of italian classics so we knew we were at the right place. Everything came in a timely fashion and had great taste. The staff is very friendly. The kitchen is open which is something I always see as a good thing. The only downside is that it is a little bit expensive. That being said... we found that it was worth it 😁 Def recommend !

A very cozy restaurant, very friendly staff, good prices and last but not least a very friendly owner named Antonio. I was visiting Chiang Rai. Unfortunately, the way for GRAB is too far to Chiang Mai. But just for this pizza I would take the trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai again and again.
