Super fresh and tasty drinks and food. All vegan and almost 100% locally sourced. The salad was so fresh, and the drink I had was very refreshing and flavorful. The aesthetic is great—I love the heavy wooden tables and chairs and the small touches throughout. The owner is really kind and friendly. She grows her jalapeños on her roof and they’re insanely good! The hot sauces she makes are also quite tasty, especially the smoked one. You should absolutely try this cafe when in Chiang Rai! Update: I returned to try the jalapeño burger. It was so, so good. The patty was really nice, and it felt so clean to eat. Definitely worth getting this burger whether you’re vegan/vegetarian or not!

This place had been recommended to me for the vegan burger, indeed it is one of the best ever eaten. The chef, a very nice Polish woman, cooks and explains everything with a lot of love. She even makes the almond milk with which she prepares the buns for the burgers. The sauces you can add are made with jalapeños grown in local farms (I bought the green one, fresh and moderately spicy). The place is walking distance from the clock tower and is located in front of a very nice temple.

What can I say more about this amazing place that hasn’t already been said? Firstly, I sincerely want to thank the owner for opening the ONLY vegan restaurant in Chiang Rai! Secondly, the classic burgers are to absolutely die for! It’s the only vegan burger I’ve had in my life where I don’t feel sleepy or gross right after. You can tell it’s made with a lot of love, fresh ingredients and good energy. Speaking of good energy and high vibrations, the owner is absolutely amazing. She is so warm and her passion for what she does is infectious. She’s an inspiration and a woman with many great stories and teachings. We loved our food so much, we came here twice! So yes, I would definitely recommend anyone who cares about what type and quality of food they are consuming to give this restaurant a visit. You can’t put a price tag on good, healthy, wholesome food. Till we meet again ❤️

Had a great vegan burger here at Kunda. The lady who runs this place is amazing and very friendly. BEST vegan chocolate cake you can find, made with all natural whole food ingredients. The burger is straight forward - flavorful patty with bun and sauce, made fresh everyday. No fries or salad accompanied. Food is slightly expensive compared to other similar restaurants.

Great experience. I'm not vegan but I haven't eaten many such good and healthy burgers with fresh ingredients. The drink was very good too. And everything's served quick. The owner gave us a warm welcome and was great. She loves her job and (and a good French speaker, by the way), you'd like to be her friend. 5 stars for the meal and 5 stars for the service. I recommand 100%

The food here is amazing. All cooked fresh and no fake meats the best tasting vegan burger I have had in the whole of Thailand. And you have to try the chocolate cake it was to die for.

A very peaceful and beautiful place. The food is super good and it feels great since all the products are natural, vegan and sugar-free. He prepares everything at the moment. The girl has very good energy from the first moment you enter, she is charming. I definitely recommend the Dirty Chai Latte! With coffee direct from Chiang Rai, Chai tea made by her and hand-pressed coconut milk from the surrounding markets, the best I've ever tasted. When we left it was raining a lot and she lent us an umbrella, thank you very much for the deal!

Lovely place, lovely food, lovely people. This is one of the only places you can get healthy food on Chiang Rai. All the food comes from local sources and the owner / chef personally knows the farmers. The food tastes great and isn’t unreasonably priced. It’s a must go to place if you are just stopping by Chiang Rai or if you’re a local. 10/10 would recommend.

Kunda's food will make you feel energetic and healthy as the Head Chef puts in a lot of love and affection in it. It is one of the lively and clean vegan places for a good meal. Would definitely recommend you to visit if you are in Chiang Mai - don't forget to try their homemade Shiba sauces.

Today is my last day in Thailand, after a six week trip around the country, and I am so grateful I came across this place. Not only did I have the opportunity to eat real, living, fresh and local food, but also to meet, exchange, share with an amazing woman, which is the one in charge of the place. This place is somewhere you can rest, nourish yourself, trough food and humanity. The hardest thing when you travel alone, is that you meet incredible people who you never know if you’ll see them again or not. And today, I had one of those meeting in this restaurant. Thank you for making me feel at home, at peace with myself, for giving love to people trough food and talks.

The owner was very friendly and came to say hi to our table and introduce us her menu. The menu is small BUT everything you find is delicious and made with love! One of a few vegan restaurants in Chiang Rai!

Incredible. Lena the polish owner is the most wonderful human, great energy, great smile and conversation. I don't like hot sauce but gave her home made ones a go and I was blown away, they taste amazing. All her food is locally sourced healthy, vegan, and amazing. A small menu but you can tell she puts her heart and soul into cooking and creating these amazing foods.

So grateful to visit Kunda for lunch and experience it’s unique atmosphere created by beautiful cheerful couple who knows how to cook, serve and celebrate life! The vegan burger was juicy and entirely made from veggies from local market just around the corner. What a treat! The whole place has its character full of funky messages inviting to think and feel out of the box. They also just received license to grow and sell cannabis and I’m sure they will follow organic practices. Congratulations guys! Yeah, and the Shiba Hot Sauce is about to go super famous so don’t forget to grab a bottle!

LOVE this place! Traveling from NYC, and I was missing a really good veggie burger. This hit the spot. The owner is such a lovely person, she even gave me a piece of the chocolate cake for free. One of the best vegan chocolate cakes I’ve ever had!

We don’t normally eat plant-based, but this was an amazing burger! We also got the salad and the ginger-honey-lime tonic, all delicious! The homemade sauces were so good as well, we had to buy some to take home with us! The owner was so kind and lovely to talk with, she even helped us find delicious local honey! We will definitely come again when we are back in town!

What a great experience at Kunda cafe. The owner is a wonderful lady very passionate about her restaurant and another lovely lady working there. We tried classic burger and jalapeño burger. Both were above expectations. Overall a wonderful meal and wonderful people

Kunda is such a beautiful oasis in the heart of Chiang Rai city. Clean, healthy vibes from the design to the food. The burgers here are incredible. Got any carnivore friends who want to take a trip to the Light Side? Bring them here! Even though the menu here is wonderful, the true highlight is Miss Lena who runs the place. (Kunda also has a great selection of organic hot sauces)

Delicous vegan burgers with almost all of the ingrediënts grown/bought locally. Very friendly owner Lenna that tells passionately about her products. Nice view of the tempel that is acros the street. A little bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

I'm truly grateful to meet the owner of KUNDA Cafe and to my friend for bringing me to this place. The food she prepared was vegetarian and thoughtful about the health and happiness of the body. We couldn't thank her enough, and she told us, "This world is a mirror. If you think this place is beautiful, it's because you are beautiful." She said to us. She even taught us the truth of this world. At the end, she even prepared a beautiful souvenir with a message for us, and we cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. We appreciate her from the bottom of our hearts for our encounter with her and the energy she creates.

Very cool vibe, tucked away in a quiet corner in downtown Chiang Rai. Super nice owners, you can feel their passion. Really small menu, you are going to have a burger, and that’s that 😁 They also have creative drinks (dirty chai like no other) and a super clean chocolate dessert. Highly recommended. Expect to pay a bit more than other places in town, but for the quality still great value.

We were driving around looking for a place to park to find somewhere to eat when we happened across Kunda. From the moment we stepped into the cafe we were greeted by the owner with her warm and friendly smile and overflowing passion for food and people. We had the Classic and the Jalapeño burger. 🍔 WOW!!!! These burgers were amazing, no sides needed, except the hot BBQ sauce. So tasty, not heavy, but filling. We were totally satisfied. When in Chiang Rai it is a must visit even if you are not vegan / vegetarian.
