Restaurant Vegan restaurant

👍 An excellent vegan buffet with a variety of dishes. You choose the dishes you want, and the helpful lady fills a plate. Food is good but a hit or miss on depth of flavor. Price is beyond reasonable and a wide variety of drinks on offer. Lots of seating, all open to the outside. People often mention dishes, buffet, vegetarian, good, restaurant, friendly, vegan, great, rice,

This is a very good place to come for vegan buffet. We wish we had found earlier in our trip. Very good food at a great price. Speak good English and can explain what each dish is and the spice levels

Really good vegan-friendly place and very inexpensive. The food is tasty, like many places in Chiang Rai free water is offered. Staff is very friendly and they also sell snacks and other foodstuffs. A little hard to find in a neighbourhood of fruit and vegetable markets and small streets, but don’t give up, finding it leads to a tasty and nutritious meal.

Good vegetarian Thaifood. But very spicy and some of the offered dishes are cold. No air conditioner. Cheap prices and free soup.

Oh this place will remain in my heart for a long time. A buffet of great tasting plant based protein and oh! so lovely green vegetable 🥬 dishes! We ate here almost every day and the more we went , the more we chose what we really liked as there is a lot. Choose from tofu or soja and also a menu available. The sweet lady’s giggle every time she saw me delighting in choosing my buffet options was so cute ☺️. Wish them the best 💗

The most interesting “Khao Soi” I’ve tried. Actually it looked and tasted nothing like Khao Soi, when it was being prepared I saw the brown color and asked if it was KS and the nice lady said it was. And then when I tasted it, I asked again and she said yes again. Maybe this is my ignorance and there are many types of KS, but I only know of the one which is yellow and tastes of a coconut curry. This tasted a lot more like a Pakistani delicacy Nihari, which I absolutely love! So I ordered KS and got Nihari, was surprised at first but still enjoyed the flavors. Loses one star for using instant noodles instead of proper ones

Lovely little place for vegans and vegetarians. Walk into this buffet style place and choose your main dish of rice/noodles and add toppings as required. Very reasonably priced and safe eating space for vegans. We had the spring rolls as well in addition to the main meal item.

I‘ve had a lot of Khao Soi‘s in Thailand and this is by far the worst I‘ve had. Didn‘t taste fresh at all, the fried egg noodles that usually go on top were stale. 2 stars only because it was only 40 Baht and there‘s not enough vegetarian places in Thailand

Good vegetarian food with a great variety of dishes. Super friendly staff and fair prices! My mom, who is not a vegetarian, loved everything she tried.

Quiet restaurant with very polite and friendly staff. Wanted something light but substantial, with lots of vegetables, and this fit the bill perfectly. Already looking forward to going again! Skewered fake meat (some pieces are missing because I ate them, so good!) - 20b Stir-fried vegetables - 50b Canned tea - 30b Water - free

A vegetarian restaurant hidden in a small alleyway in the city centre. Extremely affordable plant-based dishes with great variety: options are rice with pre-made dishes or fresh dishes (e.g. khao soi). All dishes were of great quality and tasty, though the pre-made dishes were quite cold (this may be because we went to the restaurant quite late). The restaurant is also a shop filled with loads of plant-based goods like mock meats and curry pastes. The owner was very friendly and helped us understand all the different products she was selling at the restaurant and shop. Overall, highly recommend for all vegetarians, regardless of budget!

We came here after struggling slightly with vegetarian food in Bangkok. It was absolutely brilliant and great value. Nice to know that every single dish was meat free. Lovely staff, too.

Pad thai was very good (make sure to order before 6pm) The prices were very good. Great plant based / vegan restaurant!

Oasis is a true veg oasis with a big selection of delicious and inexpensive food as well as a grocery store. Tucked on a quiet soi near the downtown, there is ample seating in this low-key place.

Ample of vegetarian, mostly even vegan options. They have tofu and some soy mock-meats, too. You can either choose from buffet-style pans or off the menu. They also have a tiny market enclosed where you can buy some products to take home with you.

Serves individual dishes to order, or you can choose from the buffet and pay a price based on the number of dishes. We had four dishes from the buffet with rice, and this cost 75 BHT. Individual plates cost around 50 BHT. Everything we tried was tasty and each dish had its own flavour. The restaurant was clean and the staff were welcoming. Good value option for vegetarians.

We found this place on Happy Cow and were so glad we tried it. It’s a buffet counter where you point and they graciously serve but they also do some meals fresh. Complete vegetarian dream and SO delicious - mushroom, tofu and veg galore. We came every day for lunch whilst in Chiang Rai. They sell some cold drinks and various packets of ingredients, food and snacks. The food in the buffet is mostly room temp which is normally run a mile from but we didn’t have any stomach issues at all and it was so delicious I’m not sure I even cared! They give you a base of rice and then three toppings is only 90 THB. Such a steal.

Delicious & reasonable priced vegetarian restaurant near Chiang Rai bus station… highly recommended if you want to try vegetarian thai dishes in Chiang Rai

Very delicious food and lots of veggie and vegan options! Fell in love with the plant-base chicken leg. People is super friendly too. Cheap to have a good proper vegetarian meal 🌱

If you’re starved for vegetarian and dining with sanctimonious Westerners, this is the place for you. Buddhist-style mock meat dishes served in a point-and-pick style. The ambience is dimly lit, hair-shirted abstemiousness. Take your plates and cutlery to the wash basin when you’re finished.

The food is cheap, a lot of different vegetarian options. But the food wasn’t that hot anymore

Tom yum nam sai delicious with mushroom balls (similar to fish all) and plenty of veg. Cost 50 baht. Buffet seemed expensive 230 baht so gave a miss. Also buffet not self service and limited to a selection (can’t have everything).

Good food, friendly staff and central location. It is a buffet style restaurant but you can order some freshly made dishes. Not a lot of English spoken but it is pretty straight forward. The buffet food can be less than hot but it is OK. A typical dish will cost 35 to 55 Thai Baht.

Vegan oasis! This place is as local as it can get. They make authentic north thai dishes. They have a buffet with a variety of vegan dishes at all spice levels and free soup. Really cheap (25baht for rice and one curry, 40 baht for two) Clean, hygienic and very friendly owner.

Can't beat the price, 90 baht to try everything that looked good. The grilled banana-leaf mixture was as spicy as they warned me, the mushrooms were strong and chewy, the turnip cake and fried & raw spring rolls were good. Best were the stir-fried tofu and veggies; I didn't have room to try the curries and rice dishes. Reminded me of veggie buffets in Taiwan, and it's open 7am to 7pm. A healthy choice next door to (totally disappointing) night market junk food if you get there early enough.

👍👍 Very cute coffee place. The cats are all very adorable and the coffee is delicious. They offer you to feed the cats for 40 Thai baht.
