Now THIS is the Doi Chaang you want to go to. Not to be confused with the Doi Chaang just a few doors down to the East on the same street (and most of the reviews for which are meant for this place). Well-designed and spacious, with displays on Thai coffee production, this is something a shrine to the Doi Chaang brand. It has outdoor and indoor seating, a meeting room upstairs and even a garden with a koi pond. Oh, and the coffee is good, too. But not spectacular.

Absolutely outstanding coffee shop. First of all the coffee is delicious and locally grown in the north mountains of Thailand. Services good and there are several types of sitting areas. One area is air-conditioned. The other area is open aired overlooking the garden. The other area is outside in the garden. You can view koi fish in the Stream/ fountain clean restrooms there's even a small shop with coffee machines that can Brew your coffee at home. They also sell whole bean coffee as well. Beautiful coffee shop. The staff was very polite and courteous. I always love Doi Chaang coffee over Starbucks. Give it a try if you've never had it! We had an iced americano and a hot cappuccino in a beautiful air conditioned glass room, surrounded by rocks and trees. Very tranquil place, not expected when compared to the outside view of the shop.

Lovely atmosphere, both indoors and out. If you want to relax, this is a calming place. The indoor seating is comfortable and well-spaced out. The outdoor seating is in a well-maintained courtyard with a pond, plants, and beautiful tables with umbrellas and comfortable chairs. Obviously, the coffee is delicious and matches the ambiance!

This cafe has its own botanical garden with fish. Indoor and outdoor seating. It’s beautiful. Good coffee, tea, and pastries.

Worst customer service experience in Thailand so far!!!! After a previous positive experience with this chain, our Chiang Rai experience was horrible, food took 25 mins, and when food delivered and we asked the rude attendant, then she started our iced coffee... with attitude, we exchanged pleasantries in Thai and met with nothing but annoyed glares. 😒 ate here 2nd august 12.40pm, no customer service, never again here... rude, could be a racist?

Lovely coffee and atmosphere, disappointing that they use packaged juices and have no fresh fruit juice available. For an eco conscious place also a shame they serve their coffees in plastic

Nice ambiance. Coffee is just normie, ordered their signature Doi Chaang Iced Coffee. Kitchen closes at 3.30pm, which isn’t updated on Google or their website.

Place is quite and green. Really nice to have a break. However prices are really high for Chiang Rai and portions are small.

Best coffee shop along the highway Maesa district,Chiang Rai (direction to Chiang Rai city). The coffee taste real, plenty variety of menu selection from appetiser,main course, bakery and non coffee drinks. Price is reasonable for the quality of food and drinks served. For coffee lovers must try the iced Americano, the chocolate macadamia nut brownies is execellent. For travellers will feel comfortable for short break drive, toilet is clean water is cool. We will certainly come back here again.

My all time favourite coffee shop, everything is well priced and they give quite a lot more than other places do for similar prices. I visit usually a few times a week. Lovely outdoor area with a little water feature and fish and a quiet relaxing indoors. Quality place that's near city center.

This was the first Doi Chaang branch I’ve visited, and it’s beautifully designed. A small shop immediately to the left from the entrance has coffee, mugs and more available for sale, and directly opposite this are large images telling the story of the company. The main cafe area flows from indoor seating to a beautiful garden with natural wood seating and a small waterfall. While the prices are higher than many small local shops, the quality of coffee is excellent, and the sizes are quite large. The affogato I ordered was a bit sweet, but still very well made. The staff were also very polite and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to relax for a while and enjoy a break from the local sights, this is perfect.
