This place is a must when you’re visiting Thailand. Huge statue and the staffs there were nice too. View from the statue is pretty and the car that takes you to the statue is also free but you can leave tips if you’re generous

Most Awesome place with awe inspiring architecture! The temple here is white and much more spiritual and magical then the other White Temple! Even could get into meditative state even though there's lots of people around, but they seem respectful. The Tower with wooden sculptures i side and the views of the landscape and the Buddha were amazing! No Entry fee

Incredible buddha and pagoda. There are stairs or a shuttle to the Buddha. You can take an elevator to the top of the Buddha for 40 baht. You can go to the top of the pagoda by stairs. There are several places to get drinks and food. Free admission to both.

The “Big Buddha” as the Wat is often referred to is humongous! It is also breathtakingly beautiful both inside and out. Once you walk inside it, you can take an elevator to the top for only 40 baht. The walls are masterfully decorated with white relief carvings. There is also a nine story pavilion on the grounds with incredible life size and bigger wood carvings on every floor. The temple there is also amazing. The monks here have also built a hospital and a orphanage here. If you are visiting Chiang Rai you really need to make it a point to visit this wonderful place.

Nice and also free to visit, we went on push bikes here (30 mins from Chiang Mai on push bike) and then into the hot springs. Its quite impressive due to its scale, not as big as Big Buddha in Honk Kong (Ngong Ping) or as many steps up but well worth a visit you can go inside and up it into the head for 40 Baht as per Feb 2025

One of the nicest temples in Chiang Rai and for sure a must see place there. It's sot far from the city downtown and there are a plenty of space for parking. You will be able to lift to the eyes of the Buddha do see the high view from the windows. There's also a 9 floor temple with different wooden sculptures inside.

This is certainly one of the most interesting and magnificent piece of art that will capture anyone attention. Simple, yet magical, looking at it from any angle. Recommended for any visitor to Chiang Rai and it is only about 15 minutes drive from the city center. Parking is plentiful and no entry fee.
