Both the wifi and air conditioning were unusable. We moved rooms to try to get working air conditioning but the room still didn't cool off at all. The wifi was spotty anywhere outside the lobby. The staff were nice and friendly but unable to resolve the issue. The location was nice being in the city center but I wouldn't recommend it.

So…this review will be complex.  This hotel has two wings, one with older infrastructure.  This wing is less desirable. Rooms in the old wing have a more awkward bathroom design, in particular.  Staff was generally excellent with exceptional resolutions of problems. We ran into a serious issue that's common for travelers and that occurs in hotels worldwide.  The staff's response and actions when we reported this issue were great. I would stay here again--in the new wing. Close to night market. Quiet, all things considered.

Check in was good & easy. Shower temperature was not very hot. Aircon only went down to 23 c. Breakfast was below average. Clean rooms & common areas. Pool so-so, had to ask for seat cushions. Friendly, attentive staff. Now this was during the 3rd wave of Covid, so I am certain it affected the services.

The WiFi has been commented by others. Surely it would have been fixed by now ? Well the answer is no. On the positive side is the location. The downside is the datedness of the decor, bathrooms etc. Breakfast is OK - make note to bring your own coffee

Why have WiFi when it is down more than up, if you are going to offer free WiFi, make a service that is fast and reliable.................... not happy Jan

Clean rooms, good service, lots of food choices. Love the updated rooms with new flooring. Great place to stay and right in the heart of the city. Love how close it is to the night market, Pharmacy, restaurants, massages, and shopping. Everything you need is within walking distance. Great breakfast buffet. Love the fresh fruit!

3.5 stars actually. Overall, the hotel was good looking and well decor. The service and its location were superb. All of the staffs were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel just sit in the city centre where you could shop, eat and travel around easily. Plus, the price was acceptable. However, the accommodation was quite old, and the maintenance was just fair - not entirely clean. The flush did not work well (room 441), but luckily it still do the job after three attempts. The given toothbrush did not have the proper quality. And, the wifi signal was quite weak.

UPDATE Oct. 16-20, 2020 My SO and I stayed here while looking for a home to buy. Everything was as before, but one common amenity that Was missing was an in-room safe. There was no problem but I would have been more comfortable if one had been provided. ----------------------------------------------------- My stay here was pleasant as were the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate but not great. If I had stayed more than a week, I would probably have eaten elsewhere. Nonetheless, it was okay and convenient.

Very good for dine in buffet very reasonable price. You can book or walk-in for buffet all you can eat meal here. They have seminar room for rent and very place to stay. Very good services.

I enjoy coming here from time to time for the reasonably priced buffet breakfast (200 Bht) and lunches (250 Bht). Always cool, quiet and relaxing and surprisingly never too crowded. Ample free parking for guests.

A nice hotel, very clean, and the staff very professional. Breakfast was quite nice, Thai style, buffet. The hotel is a bit dated, but very well maintained, so if you don't mind an older room, i believe you will enjoy your staff.

Extremely good location. Spacious and clean room. Bed was comfortable and good airconditioning. Lot of options with breakfast, but not if you’re vegan. First two bottle of water in the room is for free, if you want more you will have to pay 20 baht. All the four stars hotels I have been has complimentary water. Wifi is slow or it gets disconnected from time to time and even worse no wifi at all on our second day. Staff is helpful but can smile a bit more.

Room service and location was okay, but the food was no as good as expected. It's the Hotel restaurant! Come on! At least make it decend. Majority flavor and taste is very mild if you're looking for some thing good and authentic, local restaurants are better choices.

This is an older and more beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, a short 5 minute walk from the town centre. Large spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast has a wide range. Only issue is the TV's don't have youtube or netflix which is a shame.

this hotel has the merit of being extremely well placed. tres classic in its rather warm decoration. the rooms are comfortable and clean. the bedding is very comfortable which is a plus because it is not always the case in this country which particularly likes very firm beds. the staff is discreet and he holds his rank well. in short nothing to say negative, the breakfast buffet is perfect. I recommend this hotel which offers an excellent quality/ price ratio

They have a very good buffet there now every day 200 baht a head starting at noon. To update we returned today the 14th of October 2022, the price has gone up to 220 baht and the quality and choice has gone down. A coach load of tourists arrived, so I guess they are targeting a bigger volume of people who wouldn't know good Thai food from bad. Doubtful that we will return, although the coffee was the highlight of the experience.

Location right in centre of town. Lovely large entrance lobby. Smartly dressed, friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Large room kept immaculately clean by lovely cleaners. A wide choice of both western and Thai dishes for breakfast and all were continually topped up so nothing ever ran out. Super large swimming pool.

Lovely staff and superb location near the strip of ex pat bars and night market. I really enjoyed the food also. The room was spacious and bed so comfy. The hotel has everything I like besides a major flaw. The wi fi is awful. I like to connect my Netflix to the tv. The wi fi couldn’t connect to the tv and also kept disconnecting from my phone every minute. The tv is 60 inches so this is a shame. There are 6 floors and just one wi fi option so this probably doesn’t help. Apart from that everything is great, and I would have loved to stay again when next in town, however I won’t be returning unless the wi fi is improved. The hotel and its staff obviously take great pride and detail in its presentation which is superb through out so it’s a shame it’s let down by bad wi fi, which should be a relatively easy issue to fix.

Great position to walk around town, night market,clock tower Saturday market. Plenty of parking. We stay there very regularly not the newest hotel, but good value for the price Staff very helpful and if problems which we have experienced will rectify immediately. Breakfast okay, tea still not good should leave teabags for self use, can now get freshly fried eggs varied selection, newly renovated pool more family friendly but less room for just length swimming. Not heated Live music in evening. Lifts to all floors. Room sizes good have basics amenities, no safe in standard rooms only superior a bit strange no draws Staff knowledgeable, friendly from porters to manager, have a shuttle bus to airport by time table I can see but not used Hope above helpful
