For the price this is a really good hostel. Clean with free breakfast. The beds and the rooms are big enough and private enough for a comfortable stay in Chiang Rai.

I unfortunately have to disagree with all the positive reviews. I stayed in a private room because I can’t sleep if I hear people around me, which usually happens when you share a room. I booked the private room with bunk beds, but it turned out it only had one “window” right next to the stairs and the corridor where the toilets and showers are located. Downstairs, you’ll find the common area (which I didn’t find very inviting, to be honest), and I could hear absolutely everything from my room. The “window” is one of those that doesn’t actually close properly (see picture), so you hear everything as if people were inside the room. If someone is in the bathroom, you know. If someone’s having dinner in the kitchen, you know. If someone’s going up or down the stairs, you’ll know. It’s as if you were sleeping with the door open. I had such poor sleep on my first night (I had already paid for three nights) that I spoke to them the next day and moved somewhere else. They agreed to cancel my booking and kindly reimbursed what I had paid for the last night.

A great find in Chiang Rai. Well deserving of it's high ratings, has shared dorms and private rooms. Shared facilities and rooms are spotlessly clean and the owner is super helpful and friendly. The vibe is chilled and the common areas are be a great place to meet people. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my time here. The place is very clean and in good condition. The female roon is spacious. There is a balcony, private lockers, towel is provided, and a little shelf and a light by the bed. The bed is very comfortable, great AC as well. There are enough toilets and showers, so I never had to wait, and it was always clean and with toilet paper. There is a kitchen so you can cook yourself if you're on a budget. The included breakfast is great, like a buffet. Including a hot drink, bread, jam, margarine, fruit, boiled eggs, cookies, and a different homemade dessert (which is delicious). Mat is very nice and he will help you with everything. It's a quiet but friendly hostel, so it's perfect. The location is great, there is a lovely atmosphere. The price is reasonable 240B for a mixed dorm, 260B for a female dorm. Highly recommend for solo travelers.
