A small Museum but we'll worth a visit and the 100 baht admission. There are information sheets and a cycling map at the ticket booth. With all the signs, located at so many points around Chiang Saen, it is possible to appreciate what you are seeing without visiting the museum.

Chiang Saen Museum The first museum of Thailand In addition to old and antique items, there are also Many stories are hidden. For example, knowledge about Wiang Nong Lom and knowledge about the Yuan Yonok people. It is recommended to come visit and invite knowledgeable people to explain.

Although it is small, it is a national museum. It's located about 800m inland from the Mekong River, so if you arrive by bus from Chiang Rai, it might be a good idea to get off a little earlier. Inside the museum, the main focus is on Chiang Saen-style Buddhist statues and inscriptions, while other exhibits also introduce crafts, ceramics, textiles, and other cultures developed through trade through the great Mekong river. If you want to enrich your visit to the ruins and sights in Chiang Saen, please stop by.

Something valuable and interesting to study. If you have time it will be great. There will be officials giving information at various points, but if you're in a hurry, you'll only be able to walk past. I will feel indifferent. There should be someone knowledgeable to take a look. There is an admission fee. If you come during the Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai art period, there will be a screening room showing the story of Chiang Saen. city wall pictures See clearly, very beautiful This part is in the building behind. Admission is free. The air-conditioned room for watching movies is very cool. There are many clean bathrooms. Open for viewing Wednesday - Sunday. Closed Monday - Tuesday

Located in old town Chiang Saen, this museum exhibits artifacts excavated locally including a well-known Chiang Saen-style bronze Buddha image and Lanna Thai artifacts. Inscription stones from Phayao and Chiang Saen itself can be found in the museum. In addition, there are exhibitions of indigenous art objects of the Thai Yai, Thai Lu and other hill tribes. These items include Musical instruments, ornaments and opium-smoking accessories. The museum is open on Wednesdays through Sundays from 9.00a.m. to 4.00p.m., except on national holidays. Chiang Saen National museum showcases the stone inscriptions collected from Phayao and Chiang Saen, sculptures and antiques of Chiang Saeng natives as well as the impressive collection of bronze Buddha images carved in Chiang Saen style. More to that is the Thai Ya, Thai Lu and many hill tribes' artifacts that range from opium smoking equipment to ornament and Musical instrument. #wannyangerermovingcultures #wannyangererinmovingcultures #promotingunityindiversity

A lovely small museum packed with many artifacts and historical stories about the Lan Na culture, usually it’s 100b (I’d say it’s worth it) but until 5th Jan it’s free so if you are here don’t miss it. It’s just next to the ruins and you’ll spend about 1.5-2hrs at both.

(Translated by Google) Passing through the Qingsheng National Museum, because it was closed on Monday, there are fewer vendors in the vicinity of the tourist business. The rest of the family has three kinds of homemade food, such as the bamboo lunch box, the thick chicken intends to sell one book for lunch. But the whole bamboo tube that has just been burned is hot and hot, I don’t know how to take it away? You can't hold the bamboo tube with your left hand and hold the plate with your right hand, like carrying the Olympic flame! Finally, with the store owner, he is playing in his small world. (Translated by Google) It is one of eight national museums in the northern part of Thailand (under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of Arts). It was made in 1957. The entrance fee is 100 Baht (foreigner) must be paid in order to see the exhibition inside the building. The opening hours are from 8:30 to 16:30, Monday and Tuesday and Thai holidays are closed days. There is Pasak Historical Park on the east side, and Wat Chedilwan, an ancient temple in Chiang Saen, is on the west side, so it would be nice to visit them. Many of the exhibits are basically obtained (found) by an archaeological survey in Chiang Rai province mainly in Chiang Saen. In addition to archaeological relics, there are folk materials on ethnic minorities in Chienlai province. It seems that Payao County adjacent to the south was Chien Lai province until it was separated in 1977, but stone monuments of Payao etc are also exhibited. It is a very good place to learn the history of Chiang Saen. Because the explanation of English is also attached to the exhibit in the hall, even if Thai can not be read it will manage somehow. There is also an English version of the museum brochure. There are several exhibits outside the building on the premises. Panels and photographs are also being exhibited in the building (hut) in a separate building. There is a shop in the hall, in addition to drinks, Thai books and accessories are on sale. Photographing and taking notes in the hall are not prohibited here. If you do not use the flash you can take pictures of the exhibits.
