Cannot write a review for the temple, I've been there mainly for the skywalk to have a view of the Golden Triangle from the top. Nice view, but you have to pay the shuttle for going up and down and an extra ticket for the skywalk.

Oldest temple we've encountered in Thailand (10th century). There's also a newer temple with spectacular wooden door carvings, a temple in a fish/turtle pond, food and coffee stands and naga stairs to the bell terrace with a view of river and Laos side.

Nice and clean temple. It is the entry point for the Mekong Skywalk. The temple has free large parking. After parking your car, please head out to the temple area on the right side to ride taxi to Mekong Skywalk.

Nestled in Thailand's serene landscape, Wat Phra That Pha Ngao, a sacred embrace. Its origins trace back through time's veiled mist, A haven of spirituality, where history persists. Upon the cliffs, overlooking the Mekong's flow, Vihan Luang Pho Pha Ngao stands in tranquil glow. Bearing witness to centuries, a silent sage, Echoing tales of reverence in each sacred page. Founded with devotion, by hands now unseen, This temple venerates a legacy serene. A tapestry of faith, woven through the years, Whispers of pilgrims' prayers, calming ancient fears.

Very nice temple. Many areas to visit. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to explore sky walk. Very impressive 💯👏

Aside from the beautiful temple there is a very popular skywalk on the top of the mountain. You can walk there or take a cheap shuttle. A must see view of Mekong river and Laos.

Attractive by the glass sky walk that you can see the view of Maekhong river and Republic of Lao on the opposite side of the river. However this place manage as too commercialize not so care the visitors. I found some old and weak people have to get off from the service car on the defined point. The have to claim the steep hill for a log distance to get in the sky walk with another charge from the temple. The place was not so clean and so many shops in the area.

Well worth a visit. A very photogenic site, particularly inside the Chedi where there is an interesting collection of memorabilia of King Rama 9 visit. The prayer hall halfway up hill is beautifully decorated as is the wooden hall at the base of hill. We visited all three going top to bottom. You can take your car all way up the hill but it does have limited parking at the top.

We went to experience the glass floored viewing platform. An amazing facility and the views were stunning. They shuttle you from the bottom of the hill near the temple and that was extremely well run and efficient. A magic place to visit.

This temple is quite big and there is a skywalking up on the mountain. The mountain is quite high and scary. Not recommend to drive up if you are not good at driving. But everything here is chill.

This is a quite temple with a green beautiful environment. I had a great day with offering, having a conversation with monks and enjoying the Thai-Laos landscape views. Wat Phra That Pha Ngow is in Chiangsaen ,Chaiangrai. If you visit this temple, you will have a good day with merit and you will see a wonderful scenery of nature. For who would like to came to this temple with your own car, please drive carefully because there are many curve ways. For who does not have own car, you can take a taxi to this temple.
