Coconuts Tours is a very professional and absolutely great local travel agency. Thanks to Ya and his trainee Yu, my mom and I spent an exceptional day in the golden triangle where we had lunch on a boat on the Mekong river. The boat was privatized and we felt like we were alone in the world ! Before that, we visited a tea plantation, the black temple and the opium museum. The tour was made according to our desires and we learned a lot. If you are interested in doing tours in Chiang Rai and its surroundings, then do not hesitate to contact them, you will not be disappointed ! Moreover, the car was very comfortable, air-conditioned and impressive ! A very big 4×4 while we were only 2 passengers, and without extra charge.

A fantastic day of trekking with an incredible guide, Mas, and his assistant Nai. Apparently we did about 12.5km on the hilly terrain (our legs were definitely feeling the burn at the end of the day). Incredible vistas, a memorable lunch at a hill tribe village and a brisk dip at the waterfall. I'm 40 years old, fairly fit and this trek pushed my limits. The heat, the steep terrain and the length of the journey made for a challenging adventure. I was glad to have good tennis shoes and a backpack with me. We were given 1 bottle of water each at the start of the trip and another after lunch. That seemed to be just the right amount for us. We missed the opportunity to go into the hotsprings at the end because we had a longer hike than normal. Although we would have loved to soak our weary muscles, we were totally satisfied at the end of the day. Again, Mas (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong!) was an exceptional guide. Great English, great knowledge and all around fun guy. We would probably opt for a half day tour in the future because we felt satisfied by the trek after lunch. But we're soooooo glad to have had this experience!

We had such a great time. Good hike with some good inclines. The guides knew how to read the group and set a pace that was comfortable for everyone. They were cutting down bamboo and working on them the whole hike. Made us chopsticks and cooked a really great meal using all the bamboo tools they had been working on. My wife said it best while we were on the hike, “I feel like we are just hanging out in the jungle with friends and seeing views”

We made a tour on December 21st 2021 and it was great! The guide Ya was really friendly and showed us always interesting stuff and explained many plants. The lunch was cooked in bamboo tubes in the middle of the jungle and the people in the villages welcomed us always friendly. Highly recommended!!

We did the Trekking Tour with our guide Mos. Was a great experience with a perfect guide. No mass tourism like other tours. Would definitely recommend it!

♥️ Adventure of a lifetime Incredible jungles, cooking super tasty food, admiring waterfalls. The only thing - staying with the hill tribes is not for the weak of heart, it's not really comfortable. Shout out to Moss and Bat for being so knowledgeable, good guides and overall so friendly and honest. Big hugs from Jenia and Ester

Spent two days with the most amazing guide I’ve encountered in Southeast Asia! Our knowledgeable guide Mos brought us on a serious hike through the jungle before cooking us food in bamboo for lunch! Since we had such a good time during the hike, we booked another custom tour Mos proposed to see various scenic viewpoints such as the Golden Triangle, Doi Tung and others. He goes above and beyond as a guide and I am very grateful I booked with Coconut Tours.

We took the 1-day SI1 tour with Coconuts and it was excellent. It's an incredibly varied tour of sites around Chiang Rai. The day lasted just under 11 hours. Mos and his trainee provided very good service. We would definitely use this company again!

Beautiful experience. We went for a 1 day trekking, willing an immersion into the jungle without elephant tour. Our guide But demostrated to be a young but experienced and smart guide, with a sense of humour, gentileness and willing to give the best experience in such a short time: jungle trek, waterfall, autoctone villages, tea plantations, cooking in bambu (best moment for us !). A plus was the souvenirs handmade of bambu by our host. We recommend Coconuts Tours !!

We had a great tour with our guide Den. He was very friendly and explained us a lot about all the places that we visited. It was a very convenient way to see all the major sights around Chiang Rai, especially if your not staying in the town for a longer time. We also asked if its possible to see some monkeys and Dan gladly added another stop in a temple to our route, thanks a lot! I can highly recomend a tour with this company! :)

Amazing service, I arrived late and the office was already closed but I wrote them a message and they answered me quickly and the next day I went on a tour. The tour was great, very good guide with perfect english. I really recommend this tour office and also their full day Chiang Rai tour where you visit many places, the best is the White temple and the golden triangle with opium house/museum.

The BEST tour operator we could have chosen Small tour operator in the heart of Chiang Rai. You can almost miss them but you definetely should look out for them! It's also a cozy bar with welcoming service. We booked a personal guide and the experience was great. Everything was well planned, the 2 day trekking tour and hilltribe stay, Loy Krathong festivities and they even helped finding the best thai cooking class in Chiang Rai. Thank you Ya and your team....

Could not ask for more. Amazing one day trekking. First of all the surroundings were amazing. Such beautiful nature. Amazing villages where we cooked meals with the local people. Last but not least, a clever and funny guide, who was also the owner. The whole trip was very well thought through and well planned! 10/10

I would be more than happy to give a higher rating if I can. We were on a 1 day tour with them and it was a great experience. Our guide was resourceful, knowledgeable of the local area and also kept us entertained throughout with his great sense of humour 😁. I would not hesitate to book future tours with them if we visit Chiang Rai again 👍

We booked a last minute one day trekking tour with Coconut tours and we are so happy we did! This was a highlight of our time in Chiang Rai, our tour guide But took us to local villages, cooked us an amazing meal for lunch, and we visited a waterfall and hot spring at the end. We really enjoyed trekking through the bamboo forests and But made us souvenirs! We look forward to recommending this company to our friends and family who visit Chiang Rai and we hope to trek with them again.

Dropped in last night at their office (and bar in the evening). Our intentions was to visit Phu Langka to see the sunrise. The owner explained us the options for a midnight morning hike at Phu Langka or at Phu Chee Fa. We didn’t know about the latter, the owner recommended. The hike at Phu Chee Fa could be combined with two other ones, Phu Chee Dao and Doi Pha Tang. The view at Phu Chee Fa is mesmerising! Too bad it was too foggy at Doo Pha Tang. We still enjoyed the trip! Definitely recommend! We had such a great time with Mos and Jong (trainee)! Mos was a great driver and guide and Jong helped us take the best photos!

My gf and I used Yha and his company to visit the White Temple, the Tea Plantation and to go to Mea Sai to cross the border to Myanmar. He took us on a double cabin pickup truck with AC. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The price was fair. His English wasn’t great but we were able to communicate. Overall, we highly recommend him for any tailor made tours in the Chiang Rai region.

We used the services of Coconuts Tours when we visited Chiang Rai in November 2021 and would highly recommend choosing this business for your trips. They are known for their trekking tours but we had a great time for one just to see local sites on a city tour. When we first enquired about the services they were very clear and responsive, but respected our space and let us make a decision without pressuring us. After comparing a few options, we decided on his services because the price was very fair and he had very professional communication with a willingness to tailor the schedule to our interests. On the day, we were greeted on time at our hotel by our guide. His vehicle was a very clean and well maintained 4WD and he was a calm sensible driver that made us feel safe. When we arrived at each destination, he showed us around to point out the key features, gave really good explanations and helped us take photos but then gave us a lot of time and space to explore on our own. Despite being on a leisurely schedule and not being rushed, we even managed to see some bonus sights he recommended on top of the original itinerary. He always briefed us on the timing and destination of the next location and confirmed what we wanted to do. We felt safe, relaxed and informed the entire day. We have attended many tours around the world and this tour guide is to an international professional standard. I would highly recommend his services to both budget and luxury travellers without hesitation.

The 3 day jungle trip was fantastic. Seeing how people live today in local villages, eating food that the jungle provides is something that is unforgettable. The tours are well organized and adventurous. Our guide told us about the local way of life and gave a real good insight.
